If you really keep at it in you ambidexterous tendency you will get much better and have the rarest of surfing skills. I want to encourage you to keep it up. DO IT !
You will be a SWITCH STANCE guy ~ Neither regular OR goofy ~ Very few of these guys exist. I know because that's what I am. The longboard is where you begin to excell at that. Walking the board and getting radicle with a longboard makes you super adaptable as the board is much heavier and takes more grace to maneuver. Doing the dance of walking the board can be done on land for practice. Walk on walls and benches and learn to walk the tightrope. Phil Edwards is the original and he had 30 pound boards. Alex Knost and Joel Tudor are excellent modern guys to watch ~ Aloha ~ see you in the water.

Being fluent in both stances will help you in the long run, i recommend as a beginner to stick to one, but if ur doing just fine with both, enjoy it, most people cant.

Thank you for watching and reaching out. I would advise picking one and sticking to it. Your progress will be much slower if you change between both stances. Whichever one feels better I would stick with and never look back!

@@TheSurfersJourney exactly what I mean. Get comfortable with once stance and master it and the other stance will be a breeze if ur already comfortable with it. But stick to you favorite stance and learn first.

“Should you do a couple of speed pumps and get down the line or do you need to put it on rail and cut back to the foam.” I know what you mean but you could almost have a link to a terminology page in each video.
