- As I said here is a complete configuration video for Huawei HG630V2 Modem which is provided by Airtel VDSL in India to their High-Speed Internet consumers whereas right now I am using 40Mbps with 100GB high speed per month plan with FUP of 1Mb/s
In this modem interface is totally different from all other modems provided by Airtel VDSL and configuration is easy if it is clear where you have to make which change.

Go to 192.168.1.1 ( Gateway ) Then Set up WLAN > Home Network > LAN Interface > DHCP and Untick the box ( Disable it) and then go to LAN Interface Settings above DHCP and Change the Gateway IP Address to 192.168.1.7 ( so that it doesnt conflicts with the main router's gateway > Then the same setting (Home network) > WDS Bridging > Enable it > Scan > Check if you see your main router's SSID, MAC address etc and Save.. Boom....

i have an active internet connection (fibernet) and i thought of exchanging my router... and its huawei. but then connecting the wired internet (wan) to the router i didnt get that internet icon blinking and no internet is passing out of the router(huawei) box... i can see the wifif name (router name) and can connect with it ... but it says no internet ... if i try it with old router means it works... pls help me.
It seems user name and password not configured at your end correctly. Check those and make sure DHCP is enabled.
Can you tell me why my office VPN is not working since I am using this new modem? If I use my old ADSL modem VPN connection is working fine.

nothing like that, you can manually use port numbers if you have such doubts

Home Network > LAN interface > DHCP Reservation > creat new address
You can also use this feature
Home Network > WLAN Access > WLAN Access rules > Only allow specific computers in the WLAN

Even by bridging you can use it if it connected to modem via LAN and configured in bridge mode
dear Engineer Hello thanks for your video... please help me... my huawei HG630 modem was ok ...i reset the modem..now i can not find PPPOE in WAN... i did many many things to find PPPOE in WAN.. but i dont know why it does not show PPPOE in WAN setting.....its making me crazy...i want to change the firmware.. i downloaded the firmware from 2 diffrent websites but when i upload the file it shows an error.. the error is ''File format error''..... the file is a .bin file... this is the name at the end of its name...please help me dear Engineer...

In dynamic ip you need 3rd party service like dynadns as to get access to camera from outside world you need some source which will point to your router like static ip

Yes, you have to configure your dvr and select this one on dmz and then after setting service like dyna dns your can accomplish it

you can do it but this one must be connected via LAN from router or configured itself with ADSL line

You can get it done using QoS, as I am using router next to it which has direct speed controls but using this modem we can Only get it achieved using QoS

just use the LAN out of this modem and insert it in your router and disable wifi for this modem and you are done.
Please don't forget to sub to channel to show your love and support if it works for you.

Go on , I'm a big fan just from 2 days . You really do such a good job . btw i have some problems and i think that you may be able to help . i got that router with my internet company software pre-installed . So i lost a lot of features . how can i get the official firmware or even a stable one like you have (i think that yours is not the official one)
Backup of firmware can be taken from any working similar model

No access to router interface directly but yes you can set some machine or pi device and connect to it as setting up vpn or whatever like TeamViewer in easy words then access via it.

Yes as it has the Bridge option but using Lan whereas v3 or Huawei hg633 is avaialble also support wifi extender features directly. I uploaded one video on that more coming soon
