The new Mafex Wonder Woman is easily the best one. But for the price, it should be. Makes me want to get the whole Mafex Justice League set. I already have the new Batman, Tactical Suit Batman, and Flash. I might as well pick up the rest.
You continue to present very high quality reviews Mr D ! Always covering the important aspects of a figure, and not afraid to show the defects (which is hard to do when you've paid so much for one and then have to downgrade it). I can never figure out why reviews in general, point out the head can do 360 ... when a 360 head is NEVER needed (unless you make a Linda Blair figure !) But I suppose it's just something to demonstrate. I am awaiting my Mafex Aquaman to complete my Mafex Justice League team - that said, I had to stick with the SHF WW as my preferred version for my team.
The mythic legion coupling was a smart idea. As you probably know, WW (Greg Rucka's first run) had a minotaur chef at her New York embassy. There is another toy maker [Vitruvian HACKS?] that released a Medusa (or Gorgon) line, though I think that line was at a smaller scale...
based on this video, the mezco one looks bad..the head looks like it doesn't fit the body..it seems like the head is from a different figure and just popped it in the mezco body.. edit: i just watched your review on the mezco WW..yeah, the face is wide for the body, thats why it looks off..
Great review D. Thanks for doing what you do! IMO 2nd Mafex WW has the better likeness to Gal Gadot but is softer sculpt- I love the detail and height of this new one though. Awesome pics of all JL!
It’s tough for me. The Mafex has definitely improved but there is something that is still off in the new one and it’s very frustrating considering that i’ve bought the first two. That will mean that i’ve spent nearly 300$ to finally get a wonder woman that looks decent but not great. The SHF while not perfect either... looks closer to Gal’s likeness in some ways
I think this looks closer to Gal. I’m kind of pissed at myself that I went with the shf lineup knowing how good this team turned out. Thankfully they weren’t real expensive so I’m inclined to get this figure.

mafex released a golden armour AQUABRO figure and soon a Shazam figure. I don`t know what other companies are doing like mezco, Sh figuarts(Bandai) Do they want to complete the league or not?we want GL&Martian Manhunter figures too.
I'm probably gonna stick with my shf one. I do not like her neutral face sculpt, it looks cartoonish. But that stern face sculpt is tempting me. By far, it's the most accurate likeness to Gal Gadot in 12 inch scale.
The head sculpt looks great but not digging the price, considering it’s their third try. It took them 3 times to finally get TDK Batman right but at least that was cheaper. I’ll stick with my SHF for now & pick this up if they go on sale.
The paint and face look great but the mafex BvS WW left such a bad taste in my mouth with the awkward proportions, weird articulation and the paint smudging from the skirt I decided to play it safe and went with the SHF WW and I don't regret that decision. The SHF's only drawback for me is the hard hair piece. Other than that I love the articulation and there is no paint smudge.

If you have not yet picked one up, I'd say this Mafex version is prolly the best & the way to go (even though it's lame it takes an OEM a "3rd" version of the same fig. to finally get it right)

@@Justme-rp7dl The shield itself did not break, but the straps are not glued in with the best glue. All of them fell off the shield after just light use. Easy to fix since it is only glued but sadly, the design means at some point they'll get yanked out again. It is not a good design.
Does anyone know if the site Toy Ninja is a scam? Because I ordered this and the Soap Studios Arrow figure and I haven't heard boo on either. This one just came out so it makes sense but I haven't heard anything about The Arrow and I'm worried that its a scam. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Awesome review as always!

They all look so good together. You dont normally notice color variants with that green hue tge movie has but they all look so colorful.

I think that Mezco face looks swollen, similar to how the protagonist in Horizon Dawn doesn't look like Hannah Hoekstra.

Shfiguarts face looks odd. Lacking of eyebrow just threw me off.

Patrick Reyes both of those figures were awful. Granted the new Mafex Superman isn’t the greatest either. Mine came with a ton of QC issues.
