In Search of the Bootleggers Camp! This week, we headed to Jennings State Forest for a Solo Hammock Camping Overnighter. Finding the campground (even with the GPS) wasn't so easy to be sure. Riding seemingly endless forest roads and stumbling across an old 1800s cemetery (which i couldn't pass up) made getting to camp late a reality but it was well worth it!
After some google maps juggling. we finally made it to our intended destination and settled in for a relaxing overnighter! Join me on this adventure and see where this adventure takes us!

Thanks for sharing. Great to see that on some trips things happen like getting lost and making it a part of the adventure helps the rest of us know it can't always be perfect. Just have to take it in stride.

Great video. I like getting away from others when camping too. Nothing aggravates me more than smelling bacon cooking in the morning when I don't have any. :) I love the UCO lanterns, been using them for the past 20yrs, but have never tried the bees wax. I might give that a try. It's always a treat to roll up to a camp ground and you're the only one there. Lake with a boat ramp, you need to pack an inflatable craft next time, just in case.

Man what a good video man. I enjoyed watching that. That man walking around in the rain at 2am with a light in his hands was rude man. He knew that you were there & you did the right thing & turn on your lights to let him know that you Woke me up. But I am glad you got out buddy. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing it.

Hey Shaun- Its good you finally found the place, and a cool old cemetery. I did not know that UCO made those folding fireplaces. Looks like it worked good for you and I also didnt know about the UCO candle lanterns with the beeswax candles. I have a couple of them lanterns and will have to keep that in mind. It amazes me how one person has the whole camp site to themselves, but someone else just has to show up in the middle of the night and set up close by when they have all the rest of the area to set up. This stuff used to happen to me and the wife when we lived in CA. You would literately drive hours to get away from people, just to have someone show up out of nowhere. Make sure your head is on a swivel these days, no matter where you are. I and the wife always carry just in case. I did not know that Florida has armadillos- I thought they were only in Texas and a few other places- pretty cool. Im like you when it comes to relaxing and getting that mind in order with sounds of nature. Now, I have heard knocking sounds deep in the woods back behind the house a few years ago and Im not sure what can bang a stick or something against a tree way out there? Anyways- cool video dude and you be safe out there and keep that head on a swivel-

Thanks Hagman, it seems to always happen in campgrounds! I really like the little flat pack fire pit and I love my candle lantern just doesn't seem to work well with the beeswax candles! Also, we have an abundance of armored dild......well anyway, you know what i mean! Lol
      Thanks for watching!

That's my hometown woods . Nolan Ridge Church and Bell Cemetery are on opposite sides of the creek. How could you not find Black Creek? It snakes all thru the area . Ive been hunting out there for 30 years.

I followed the GPS, that's how! I found out the hard way that their on opposite sides of the creek! No worries though, it was like my second time out there! I'll eventually get it figured out! Thanks for watching!

@@ReWyldOutdoors Anytime you need a tour let me know. There are several sections separated by the creek and branches. It's a good place to kayak camp on the banks too. My daughter knows the area better than me hiking the many trails .

Hey ReWyld, I forgot to ask, what size UCO grill did you get? Looked like their medium?
