So gameplay tips that may help alittle with the vertigo issue, not 100% sadly. Tip 1; most controls do not require much if any real head moment, only major ones is knife take downs that comes late and boss battle but screen tells you what to do and you don’t need to move much just enough to resister that you dodged. Tip 2; Counter to side you don’t need to stretch your arms out it just needs to register, so quick hand/wrist to side should do it. Tip 3; R analogue is for entering grates pulling your self up a ledge, entering inverted takedown mode and flipping over thugs which is important for later enemies. Also dodging press L analogue stick and moving.
Nice job, you guys! The stream went great! The game has a bit of a learning curve, I'm still getting combat down. Although it is reminiscent of the previous Arkham titles, the formula has changed a little to meet VR standards. At the same time, I'll take this over SS:KTJL any day of the week.
Just a few notes for you: • if you're sitting down make sure to recalibrate your height by holding the hamburger menu button so you arent short in game • the right stick has these functions: - left/right: turn left or right - down: if held will turn you 180 degrees - up: mantle, jump (up while pressing in the stick), enter/exit grates, redirect (while looking at an enemy will evade you over them and allow you do to an aerial attack • during combat hit both the trigger and grip buttons while making a fist (just like you would irl) when you want to punch. use only the trigger (index finger) for cape actions. • you'll also be unlocking new gadgets throughout the story: in order, explosive gel, decoder (also disruptor) and batclaw. you'll unlock special combo takedowns later and you can pull off moves like aerial attacks by redirecting in combat by pushing forward the right stick while looking at an enemy and also cape stunning and then pushing forward the right stick (which you use on shield enemies). theres also plenty of wayne tech upgrades that will unlock new takedowns and moves • you can change the boundary sensitivity in the quest settings by going to physical space > boundary > boundary sensitivity • smoke bombs are on the inside of your left forearm • when choking people out try to position your arms just like batman's and do the left right motion irl hope you enjoy the game!
at least this new Arkham game is better than that terrible suicide squad game that came out if only it wasn't vr but at least we got a new Arkham game .
"A little messy, but It's VR" Yeah. In VR, your actual physical movement matters a lot more. So it's only as messy as the player is. So for a beginner, it's gonna be super messy. But once you're skilled at it, you'll surpass even any kind of animation that activates when you press a button in flatscreen games.
I can hear the volume on my phone wayching the play back but during the live stream i needed to turn my phones volume up all the way. On my tablet i could hear just fine. I think its just my phoke that has an issue
You should hear from headseat even when you cast to the website I think maybe it is because the quest app I think I use the casting with no problem I can still hear from the headset
K.Wing i advise you to honestly listen to a lot of the chatter. That the goons say you're gonna miss a lot of cool easter eggs and really cool cameos that you will miss if you don't hear the dialogue out on a lot of people, including a Robin cameo plus blackgate is canon this game also the reason some actions aren't working is because your off center in calibration and you need to be standing or have enough room for it to pick up your movements more accurately and you can turn off the black screen edges so u can get a clear view and u can slide through grates
This is a fantastic Batman stream yet , thanks to Luke for giving us the time to do this right , thank you ….
Luke thank you for streaming performance of Batman, now its giving you the shadow of Arkham , some great work

What is vertigo. Don’t really like the game, but will still support the yall
Have you tried wearing contacts when you have VR set
What didn't you like about the game?
Don't forget about my ultimate stream
I have a suggestion for Lore maybe record a video of the gameplay and then write a script after for the lore and then record.
I'm Batman
