- Say what you want about Marcanne, but even me who's not really a shipper, I genuinely find their relationship adorable a lot of the time. Sure, the Spranne friendship is very wholesome, and Sprivy is likely the only romantic relationship to be canon. But Marcanne is the only relationship that can be interpreted as both platonic or romantic and I’d be fine with it. Also, I miss the two of them interacting with each other. I know Amphibia is coming back on March 19 but dammit, I want it sooner lol.

The way I see it, Anne cried when she saw Marcy but not Sasha because she cares about Marcy more, while Marcy equally cares about them both.

My interpretation is that Anne cried because she's been through a lot of hardship in Amphibia, whereas Marcy has been having the time of her life.

I have this friend who keeps on listening to my stupid babbling and I got really left out seeing her make friends with other people.. I know that sounds selfish, but knowing me, I find it hard to talk to people and seeing her make friends so easily makes me afraid that she's going to forget me.
That's why I rlly love anne and marcy's dynamic because it reminds me of me and my friend for some reason... it's like a cartoonized version of ourselves 😂😭 even our physical appearance looks the same.. she has some wild curls and I got black shiny hair and of chinese descent.. fucking outrageous ngl
That basically describes my dynamic with one of my friends. I babble about random facts and knowledge, and he listens to what I say, or at least tries to understand what I say lol. That makes me the Marcy equivalent in my group, as you can probably tell. Also similar to Marcy, I do find it scary to know that my friendships that I have since kindergarten could fade due to distance and my friends finding new friends while I struggle to make new friends. So yeah, I very much relate to Anne and Marcy’s friendship a lot because of my friendship.

Marcy and Anne's friendship is cutest. Sure despite their differences and Anne didn't invest in her interest that much, but to me she was still a true and good friend to Marcy and cares for her so much being her first one since they were 3 and how they admire their skills shows how wholesome their friendship.
