    Would have sounded much better without the singers all wearing masks.

      As the bizarre sign of the era - masks of obedience... only not for conductor and solists.

      It's not obedience. It's respect for others' health because we understand germ theory. It's the reason milk pasteurization is named after Louis Pasteur.
