I've played Baizhu and XianYun as DPS from the moment i pulled them. So I will pull for Sigewinne and play her DPS 😅😅 She makes me reconsider getting my C2 Baizhu more cons, and save all my pulls to get cons on her

Well luckily, it's been a month, and at least 1 of these things has been improved haha. They increased the buff! Personally, I have an obsession with off-field elemental skill damage dealers (Yae Miko, Albedo, Furina, Nahida, Xiangling, Fischl, Dehya, C2 Baizhu, and more) so I plan on getting her C1 and investing in the buff even more! Her C1, with the new increase, makes it 100 extra damage per 1,000 HP over 30,000 (up to 3,500 extra damage) and takes it from 10 Convalescence up to 18 per skill! I may go for C2 as well since she'll probably function as my on field character most of the time and that gives free shielding! She may be a niche character, but she falls RIGHT into my gaming preferences and will pair SO well with the characters I've built over the years, so I'm thrilled!
Really hoping her hydro app is improved and her buff numbers increased to feel meaningful. I plan to run her in my Dehya burgeon team in overworld with Furina and Nahida, but for domains and maybe abyss Yae/Nahida/Furina/Sigewinne might be interesting since Yae and Sigewinne both want field time but not a lot of it. Could be particularly interesting if they change her buff stacks to be per character rather than shared between the whole party.
Hopefully her skill buffing passive sees a signicant boost thorugh the beta. Cause yeah, as it is she's locked to double hydro with Furina and even then her only value there is consolidating the healer role.

Honestly I think the best way to make her good without stepping on Kokomi’s toes is just by making the buffing good, team wide healing solid buffing but really bad hydro app would give her some advantages over kokomi but not make her out right better
They’ve increased her hydro app already with her e and are probably doing it for her burst too. Their heading for either completely powercreeping kokomi or making sigewinne one of the worst five stars
Recurve Bow will most likely be her best weapon (besides Favonius Bow and her Signature, of course). It's also a good thing that you can get it from speaking to some Sumeru NPCs so you don't have to worry if you've completely explored Mondstadt and used the Recurve Bows you've gotten to level up other weapons.
I also have the theory that Sigewinne might allow Navia double hydro. For example u can now run Sigewinne and Furina, this team dont really need application and it can benefict Furina and Chiori/Albedo at the same time.

Sigewinne really needs a buff. Edit: I'm hoping Sigewinne to get buffed so that she can be hydro Bennett who not only heals but also buff off field elemental skill damage dealers like Fischl and Yae.
I feel like the only possiblity is that siegwinnes transition to 5 star is incomplete, because this is like textbook hoyo 4 star design, a bunch of shit that could be useful but is so limited in numbers and clunk that it doesnt end up working.
I like that she has a different role from Kokomi while also being a healer. One is a quick swap subdps healer & skill buffer (hopefully she gets a bigger buff) while the other has 100% uptime off and on field aoe hydro application and healing while also being able to be a driver/on field damage dealer. In practise she also isn’t going to replace Kokomi in any of her best teams (Nilou Bloom, Freeze, Monohydro - as a driver, etc) but she still has the capabilities to be a good support (assuming they buff her skill buff which I’m sure they will) in different teams.
the issue lies there though. She’s supposed to be a furina partner, but all of furinas best teams have another team wide healer that provides more utility than sigewinnes skill buff. (xianyun, Jean, charlotte, etc) so since she can’t compare to them, she will be turned into a mini furina that would go into those comps you’ve mentioned. However, kokomi heals way more, is more dedicated, and deals more damage, so there isn’t a reason to use her when she has no place in any comp, even with her buff. She needs to get massively buffed during beta to even hold a candle to any of the Fontaine five stars or kokomi.
Since Sigewinne is a 5 star unit and not a 4 star unit like Bennett, it wouldn't hurt if Hoyoverse buff Sigewinne to be hydro Bennett where her role is not only as a healer but also a buffer.
I wish Sigewinne not only buffs HP characters but also general characters although that would mean that she may powercreep both Bennett and Furina. A solution to avoid powercreeping Furina is to buff only off field elemental skill damage characters such as Fischl and Nahida.
They have yet to release a flat out bad 5* character since the start of Fontaine. Even the 4* characters have been better than we are used too getting. So i have some hope that they will fix her up during beta but this isn't really the kit i was hoing to see on our cute Melusine nurse. Can't she be both adorable and useful.
I always have loved getting healers on my account. Especially 5 star healers. But Segwinne was one I’ve been underwhelmed for. Mainly because I never cared for her in the story. That being said and meta aside, her animations are pretty good and they helped sell me a bit more on her aesthetic. I’ll only pull if she turns out to be a best in slot choice for at least one of my favorite characters.
I just got Arlecchino, as I kinda needed a Pyro main DPS on my account and still have 200 wishes left. Really considering whether I should go for Sigewinne or Clorinde next. I have quite a few characters of both elements, but I am lacking in the Hydro Healer department, as I don't have Kokomi. If Sigewinne improves a bit more, I think I'll decide on her.
The question is whether you necessarily need a hydro healer. Often times there are healer alternatives from other elements or using Barbara is a good alternative. If you look at Kokomi right now she’s very replaceable in very archetype there is and that’s even more the case for Sigewinne in her current state, on top of that she’s basically tied to Furina
@@ShevaAlpha2002 well even then, there’s no desperate need for a hydro healer currently, using Yaoyao is good enough, or using an Anemo healer instead of Kokomi in mono hydro and then use a more offensive hydro unit or in Freeze Mona and Furina are both around the same or even better in terms of damage with Kokomi only having an advantage in terms of comfort. As for Barbara yeah self hydro is annoying but it’s only an issue against on type of enemies, other than that she’s a viable alternative but obviously worse

I like Sigewine design a lot, hopefully she will be buffed. At least Kokomi and Barbara can use TTDS and Hakushin Ring, also Barbara gives a Hydro dmg bonus from her cons and revive. While using Barbara I never really need to stay on field unless I make some bad mistakes. Looks like I will stick with Barbara for now unless I can make Furina work as a mail healer.
I want Sigewinne to be hydro Bennett instead that not only buffs off field elemental skill damage but also heal party members but unlike Bennett, Sigewinne also heal off field party members.

I am really upset in how weird her kit is. When I first read it, I thought she would be some kind of niche buffer like Xianyun, but this time a buffer specifically for off field dps. That would allow her to create teams without a on field dps, but her passive doesnt buff ALL off field dps in game, less than half of them actually since it only buffs skills and not ultimates. It should buff any kind of off field damage. Then I at first glance I also thought, well, perhaps she will be some sort of crowd control with the bubble traps... and nope. the bubble doesnt help at all and only works for slimes and hilichurl. and she has the burst that only deals damage but... it doesn't? it really sounds like a Dehya situation rn. maybe she will go to standard banner, that would be the only explanation for such a bad kit even though she has the most amazing animations
Based on the new burning artifact, I think the upcoming characters will focus on that reaction so a hydro healer that will not put out the fire may be what they are posing Sigewine as.

Sige and clorinde are better as healer and aggravate dps. Sige has less hydro application (if is not a bug) but you have a ton of good characters to apply hydro, and sig healing is much better then jelly circle impact, costellations of sige are too much better then koko. The only thing koko is better is apply hydro in circle impact for the rest is worst. Take in consideration that we are in the first week of the patch and arlecchino change until the pre download. Happy to have an hydro healer outside barbara and barabara paid plus
Buff the skill buffing and trade a constellation (C1 or C2) for one or her other passive lol A C0 hydro shielder/healer with shred and buffing skill based character sound like something I'd gladly pull for and a competitive and exciting new addition to the cast. I wouldn't even mind her awful hydro app because it would be useful and unique this way
Sigewinne will basically become 5 star hydro Diona if Sigewinne is a healer/shielder hybrid support except that her healing is way superior than Diona since Sigewinne can heal off field party members.
She doesn't heal the entire team with each bounce of her bubble. She heals everyone but herself. It is only once the bouncing finishes that she herself is healed. And on a related note, how quickly does it bounce? Anyway, I expect she'll see some tweaks. Hopefully, they do address the hydro application. At the very least, standard ICD should apply to the bubbles, because, well, if they want to make her more neutral, they should have made her geo. As a hydro, without good application, she just seems like something to get mono-hydro players to get her at C2, rather than a solid character.

My initial reaction to her kit was also that it seemed gimmicky. Her kit doesn't seem cohesive enough to function properly as it stands. She falls flat compared to other characters that have been out longer and more players have invested in. It would've been much better if she had specialised in something, like healing and Freeze support (would've been fitting with Wriothesley, but also help Ayaka/Ganyu).
There's some interesting phrasing in that skill buff: "...Elemental Skills of your own characters *on standby*..." Am I interpreting this wrong or does it mean that if we had an Aggravate team with Fischl, then Sigewinne's skill would buff Oz damage while Fischl's not on the field? That would be like a sub-DPS boost instead of the usual on field character boosts. Golden Troupe, anyone?

Someone doesn't have Kokomi .... or is using her incorrectly.
I feel like the only possiblity is that siegwinnes transition to 5 star is incomplete, because this is like textbook hoyo 4 star design, a bunch of shit that could be useful but is so limited in numbers and clunk that it doesnt end up working.
At the moment she is better than koko in all aspect ouside hydro application, and you need two hydro with koko anyway, and is she incomplete ?

I like that she has a different role from Kokomi while also being a healer. One is a quick swap subdps healer & skill buffer (hopefully she gets a bigger buff) while the other has 100% uptime off and on field aoe hydro application and healing while also being able to be a driver/on field damage dealer. In practise she also isn’t going to replace Kokomi in any of her best teams (Nilou Bloom, Freeze, Monohydro - as a driver, etc) but she still has the capabilities to be a good support (assuming they buff her skill buff which I’m sure they will) in different teams.
the issue lies there though. She’s supposed to be a furina partner, but all of furinas best teams have another team wide healer that provides more utility than sigewinnes skill buff. (xianyun, Jean, charlotte, etc) so since she can’t compare to them, she will be turned into a mini furina that would go into those comps you’ve mentioned. However, kokomi heals way more, is more dedicated, and deals more damage, so there isn’t a reason to use her when she has no place in any comp, even with her buff. She needs to get massively buffed during beta to even hold a candle to any of the Fontaine five stars or kokomi.
Since Sigewinne is a 5 star unit and not a 4 star unit like Bennett, it wouldn't hurt if Hoyoverse buff Sigewinne to be hydro Bennett where her role is not only as a healer but also a buffer.

All I know is that no other hydro character is worse than hydro tabibito. Heck even C6 Candace has her uses in quickbloom teams.

I wish Sigewinne not only buffs HP characters but also general characters although that would mean that she may powercreep both Bennett and Furina. A solution to avoid powercreeping Furina is to buff only off field elemental skill damage characters such as Fischl and Nahida.

They have yet to release a flat out bad 5* character since the start of Fontaine. Even the 4* characters have been better than we are used too getting. So i have some hope that they will fix her up during beta but this isn't really the kit i was hoing to see on our cute Melusine nurse. Can't she be both adorable and useful.
Agreed. Arlecchino went through a ton of changes, hoping they do the same for Clorinde and Sigewinne.

I always have loved getting healers on my account. Especially 5 star healers. But Segwinne was one I’ve been underwhelmed for. Mainly because I never cared for her in the story. That being said and meta aside, her animations are pretty good and they helped sell me a bit more on her aesthetic. I’ll only pull if she turns out to be a best in slot choice for at least one of my favorite characters.
I just got Arlecchino, as I kinda needed a Pyro main DPS on my account and still have 200 wishes left.
Really considering whether I should go for Sigewinne or Clorinde next.
I have quite a few characters of both elements, but I am lacking in the Hydro Healer department, as I don't have Kokomi. If Sigewinne improves a bit more, I think I'll decide on her.
The question is whether you necessarily need a hydro healer. Often times there are healer alternatives from other elements or using Barbara is a good alternative. If you look at Kokomi right now she’s very replaceable in very archetype there is and that’s even more the case for Sigewinne in her current state, on top of that she’s basically tied to Furina
@@justawalter9752Barbara's biggest weakness is that she applies wet status to the active character which is bad against Cryo enemies like Coppelia.
@@ShevaAlpha2002 well even then, there’s no desperate need for a hydro healer currently, using Yaoyao is good enough, or using an Anemo healer instead of Kokomi in mono hydro and then use a more offensive hydro unit or in Freeze Mona and Furina are both around the same or even better in terms of damage with Kokomi only having an advantage in terms of comfort. As for Barbara yeah self hydro is annoying but it’s only an issue against on type of enemies, other than that she’s a viable alternative but obviously worse
sounds like a potential character match with future Natlan character that based from rumour rely on getting buff by burning themself and the party even they are in off-field because the new artifact rely on character is on burning.
Im calling it now, there will be a unit that benifits from teamates having/changing a BoL and sigewinnes value will skyrocket when that happens
Sigewinne may be Clorinde's best support because the more healing Clorinde gets, the more BoL she will have now because of overhealing.

She doesn't sound like a solo-player abyss character, and more for someone who likes being a healer in co-op while also pulling weight with damage.
I like Sigewine design a lot, hopefully she will be buffed. At least Kokomi and Barbara can use TTDS and Hakushin Ring, also Barbara gives a Hydro dmg bonus from her cons and revive. While using Barbara I never really need to stay on field unless I make some bad mistakes. Looks like I will stick with Barbara for now unless I can make Furina work as a mail healer.

I am really upset in how weird her kit is. When I first read it, I thought she would be some kind of niche buffer like Xianyun, but this time a buffer specifically for off field dps. That would allow her to create teams without a on field dps, but her passive doesnt buff ALL off field dps in game, less than half of them actually since it only buffs skills and not ultimates. It should buff any kind of off field damage.
Then I at first glance I also thought, well, perhaps she will be some sort of crowd control with the bubble traps... and nope. the bubble doesnt help at all and only works for slimes and hilichurl. and she has the burst that only deals damage but... it doesn't?
it really sounds like a Dehya situation rn. maybe she will go to standard banner, that would be the only explanation for such a bad kit even though she has the most amazing animations
Based on the new burning artifact, I think the upcoming characters will focus on that reaction so a hydro healer that will not put out the fire may be what they are posing Sigewine as.

And I believe sigweiene will get a elemental skill buff, not that it would make her a good unit tho. She's likely a unit designed for future elemental skill based carries. Probably decent for clorinde
My mains are literally Kokomi and Keqing so the 4.7 characters make me shake. Looks like Kokomi is safe so far?
Sige and clorinde are better as healer and aggravate dps.
Sige has less hydro application (if is not a bug) but you have a ton of good characters to apply hydro, and sig healing is much better then jelly circle impact, costellations of sige are too much better then koko.
The only thing koko is better is apply hydro in circle impact for the rest is worst.
Take in consideration that we are in the first week of the patch and arlecchino change until the pre download.

A C0 hydro shielder/healer with shred and buffing skill based character sound like something I'd gladly pull for and a competitive and exciting new addition to the cast.

Sigewinne will basically become 5 star hydro Diona if Sigewinne is a healer/shielder hybrid support except that her healing is way superior than Diona since Sigewinne can heal off field party members.
She doesn't heal the entire team with each bounce of her bubble. She heals everyone but herself. It is only once the bouncing finishes that she herself is healed. And on a related note, how quickly does it bounce?
Anyway, I expect she'll see some tweaks. Hopefully, they do address the hydro application. At the very least, standard ICD should apply to the bubbles, because, well, if they want to make her more neutral, they should have made her geo. As a hydro, without good application, she just seems like something to get mono-hydro players to get her at C2, rather than a solid character.

@@ShevaAlpha2002 yh, a friend sent me the gameplay leaks and honestly it isn't overly bad. Her skill is almost up all the time, and it is at c1 from the looks of things. She just needs some buffs in general, like give her bubble an aoe splash whenever it bounces, increase its healing / dmg and it's application.. 😬

If only Sigewinne's hydro application is better, she could be earn a good spot in Nilou's team. For a bubble that big but not having AoE hydro application, and for a water spraying gun that cool but only able to apply hydro once per target... that's just whack.
I prayed for her to be a hydro Baizhu: shielder + healer, but with claymore, so I could finally stick R5 The Bell on someone. I'm so disappointed.

My initial reaction to her kit was also that it seemed gimmicky. Her kit doesn't seem cohesive enough to function properly as it stands. She falls flat compared to other characters that have been out longer and more players have invested in. It would've been much better if she had specialised in something, like healing and Freeze support (would've been fitting with Wriothesley, but also help Ayaka/Ganyu).
There is a rumor she will cause bond of life, if she does she's an autopick best in slot for Arlechinno.

it might be an advantage for nilou. she need lots of HP, so she doesnt have much EM, not applying hydro is good for her, not stealing much seed.

There's some interesting phrasing in that skill buff: "...Elemental Skills of your own characters *on standby*..." Am I interpreting this wrong or does it mean that if we had an Aggravate team with Fischl, then Sigewinne's skill would buff Oz damage while Fischl's not on the field? That would be like a sub-DPS boost instead of the usual on field character boosts. Golden Troupe, anyone?
Yup, that's exactly what it means. If the character is off-field, she buffs their elemental skill. So Yae, Fischl, Nahida, Furina, Albedo, Chiori...
@@Axterix13 Sounds pretty insane. That flat boost gets the max Golden Troupe buff, plus a Furina buff if you're running them together... With full fledged off-field healing. Makes for a very unique character role.
I wonder if there would be a future character who is an anemo shielder where when the shield gets hit, it swirls the element and damages back the enemies around.
