Great video Sir ,I hope you also make about linear motor or generator and especially how to construct with different shape of gear or like to modifying new gear in it
can I simulate a cylindrical conductor near a loop antenna showing that the loop antenna receiving the fields from the conductor in comsol? Trying to model something similar to wireless power transfer to show that the fields from the conductor being transferred to the antenna
Thank you Jaf-Science for this wonderful video ... it's my request can you upload a tutorial for plasma in presence of a microwave and in the presence magnetic field.
I'm not aware of a way to download a library of materials into Comsol. But if you know the material you need you can look up its properties online and then define a material manually.
In the results dataset you can create a line that extends radially from the surface of the magnet. This line should use your solution. Then use this line dataset when you create a 1D line plot.
Thank you for the great tutorial. I have two magnetic field sources in the workspace and I want to measure their combined effect and their individual effect separately at a point Which method should I follow?
The combined effect is the solution you get when you simulate both sources together. If you turn off one of them you will get the effect of the other source. To see the result at a point you can insert a probe. You may need to insert a point in the geometry at the desired location to use the probe.
@@JafScience Thank you for your kind reply. I have 2 magnetic field sources, one with AC coil (Hac) and the other one is permanent magnet (Hs). I want to calculate Hnet=Hac^2/sqrt(Hac^2+Hs^2). When I put probe at a point comsol measures total effect. If i measure Hac and Hs seperately I m gonna use them as variables and calculate Hnet. Then i will multiply Hnet with a constant and this value changes to power in Watt. And i ll use this Watt as Heat Source input for heat transfer in solids (ht). I can send the comsol file if you want to have a look.
You can multiply the total effect with a constant directly. But if you want to compute each field separately you can use a total of 3 study steps. In the 1st 2 steps turn off the source which you don't want.
@@JafScience I have built a magnet pack that will go inside of oil and gas pipelines to pick up ferrous material. I am wondering if we could model the magnet pack to ensure I'm building it to pick up the optimum amount of ferrous material.
If you want to model small fragments of ferrous material, I'm not sure how to do that. If you want to study other related variables like how wide the magnetic field is and how strong it is in the region of interest, then that can be done.
If you want to do an experiment you can assemble such magnets together (you may need a hollow non magnetic core). And I you have a tesla meter you can measure the magnetic field at the centre of the magnet array.
@@danascer1454 I haven't used rotating machinery so I don't whether it has built-in variable for torque. But depending on how you set-up your model you can compute it from first principles, such as computing Lorentz force from magnetic field and electric current.
HELPED ME A LOT!!! SAVED ME ON MY LAST DAY SUBMISSION OF REPORT.
thank you so much, i just watch a bucnh of your tutorials and they were so helpful.

I don't have experience with modelling plasma, sorry.
Hello, I currently have two permanent magnets and would like to know the magnetic field strength between them. Can you tell me how to do this?
I dont see the "hard magnetic materials" library on my version of COMSOL, is there a way to download and add it?

Dear sir,
Kindly tell me how to plot B vs x (distance from the surface of the magnet) for such simulations

Dear Sir, I need help. I am trying to design four port design in COMSOL. I want to terminate one port in that design. How to do it in COMSOL?
Dear Sir, your design is right !
Could you please make a simulation of the Friedrich Luling magnet motor with COMSOL ?
Nothing about this device.....
I'm not familiar with this type of motor. I also don't currently have access to Comsol. Sorry.
Thank you for the great tutorial.

@@JafScience ok i will try. thank you.
I have a new product and would like to have my magnets modeled. Is that something you could help me with?

Is it possible to model and experiment a simple magnetic coupling using this method?
