He is a brilliant actor. He was awesome as George McFly....you can't be crazy and be capable of slipping in to different characters/personalities on command like that, the key words being "on command" lol. I'm surprised at how well spoken he actually is. I really missed him in Back to the future part 2. It would have been a better movie if he was incorporated into the script for sure. They did have that part with the upside down old version of him, but if he was actually in the movie they could have done much more with the story line. He looks GREAT too! He doesn't appear to have aged at all. Especially when you look at Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd these days. The years have not been very kind to them unfortunately.
HE HAS A REAL CHARISMA, NO MATTER THE FILMS THEY PLAY IN... I OWN SEVERAL OF HIS FILMS AND HE’S REALLY AWESOME. THE ONLY FILMS WITH WHICH HE HAS PROBLEMS ARE THOSE WITH STRONG EMOTIONS... EITHER LAUGHING OR CRYING ON COMMAND. HE MANAGES TO PUT HIMSELF IN THE SKIN OF HIS CHARACTERS BUT IT IS TRUE THAT FOR ANYONE... CRYING OR LAUGHING IN A FRACTION OF A SECOND AND LOOKING NATURAL IS VERY COMPLICATED. TO CRY ALMOST ON COMMAND, YOU HAVE TO HAVE EXPERIENCED VERY DIFFICULT THINGS IN YOUR LIFE AND HAVE ALWAYS HIDDEN THEM. I AM HYPER EMOTIONAL AND IT TAKES ME 2-3 MINUTES TO GET THERE... SO IMAGINE YOURSELF IN A MOVIE... IT’S AMAZING WHAT YOU CAN DEMAND OF THEM... AND SAY THAT CRITICS ARE ABLE TO COME AND DESTROY AN ACTING CAREER BECAUSE THEY ARE FRUSTRATED AGAINST WHO WRITES AND DIRECTS. CRISPIN GLOVER DESERVES ITS BRAND ON GRAUMAN’S CHINESE THEATRE AND HAVE A STAR ON HOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD IT WOULD BE A GREAT DEDICATION TO HIS CAREER, EVEN IF HE STILL HAS FABULOUS YEARS OF CINEMA AHEAD OF HIM... HE LOOKS SO YOUNG. HE’S 58 AND APPARENTLY BARELY 45... THAT’S HOW HANDSOME HE IS.
I always thought his acting was strange and unlike no other. Not a bad thing. Looking back now, I see I totally missed how brilliant he is and how devoted he is to the art. I was very interested in what he had to say.
My god same here. This guy is all Poker Chips in on his performance in the film and in promoting. This guy is a genius, master. He took “Trolling” to benefit his performances.
No one appreciates the genius of Crispen Glover. This guy is all “chips in” in his acting and his promoting! Look how he played everyone with his Dave Letterman performance. He was just promoting his character from Rubin and Ed! This is literally taking “Trolling” to benefit his characters. This guy is a freaking genius.
WHY DON'T WE LEAVE HER WITH THE DAMNED BACK TO THE FUTURE FILM?.... I KNOW THAT IN 2022, HIM WILL BE ASKED AGAIN AND AGAIN FOR HIS OPINION ON THIS FILM. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT HE ANSWERED WIDELY ON THIS DAMNED SAGA HAS PROBLEMS THAT HE HAD. HE DIDN'T JUST MAKE THIS FILM... THERE ARE AT LEAST 20 OTHER FILMS BEHIND THIS... SO THE JOURNALISTS OF M.... OR ALL THOSE LACK OF IMAGINATION ARE LOOKING FOR INTELLIGENT QUESTIONS TO ASK HIM.
crispy gluvah crazy. he is he is he is dammit. i know it. i seen it. he's craazeee. takes one to know one . don't even try to tell me "nah son, you crazy. crispy aint crazy. YOU crazy son, yOU!": eh huh eh huh eh huh eh huh
Well, if you didn't act crazy people wouldn't think that......you're crazy. His story would be a lot more believable if he hadn't acted to so crazy on Letterman. The producer of BTTF probably had enough of him..... You think he calmly objected to the plot?
Bro, Crispen Glover os litterally just explaining to you his method to his madness. If you look at the film Rubin and Ed, Crispen Glover is literally playing the character on Dave Letterman. Crispen Glover is a master at fooling the public. Congratulations he fooled u
Crispin glover was the highlight of hot tub time machine

Nice interview, he seems like an interesting guy

Great guest. I never knew Glover's dad was Mr. Wint.
Love THE BIG PROBLEM - Oak Mott, Clowny Clown Clown, Auto-Manipulator, Boots etc. - great stuff.
The weirdest part of all of this is that he looks like he could step in and convincingly play George McFly in 1955 and 1985 today.
Recommendation for next time, put the camera near and facing your guest instead of watching them through booms and arms.
crispin glovers got a crispy voice in this one lol

Great stuff, Sam & Crispin.
They should make another back to the future movie with him going in the time machine to fix the past and make the movie end right.
Great interview Mr. Professional Broadcaster!
I fucking love this guy. No, not you sam.
He is always great in whatever he has been in.
Really good interview.
Ralph from the stern show sneaking in at the end 30:02
He obviously couldn't get the hints to talk into the mic. Just say something next time, Sam.
lol he keeps sneakily promoting the bag men by saying hes there to promote the bag men
Too bad he didn't get more roles. Wasted talent is the definition of Hollywood.
Exactly he is a master
Pretty sure there's a blown diaphragm or whatever on Crispin's mic.
I think the gain is set wrong. Also he wasn't talking exactly into the head of the mic.

Bro Crispen Glover is literally a master at leveraging his PR appearances to benefit his acting roles.
Nobody touches me!
Huh
no idea he was not in back to the future 2 or 3.
Me neither, I thought he was the grandpa version for sure lol

He was just pulling a Kaufman
