Seeing the reason why Handa went to a remote community in the first place in the Barakamon anime really relate with the message of Proverbs 15. Even if you are right, you just can't say everything you want, much less punch someone in the face. This is what i'm struggling with, bcs i'm hard and hot headed, and it's hard for me to agree in a term if someone i'm debating with is not making any sense with their opinion, e.g. like my mom who loves to use tradition "You can't argue with me because i'm the parent, I'm always right" (because she was raised this way by her mother), so i'm having a hard time to respect my mom. What she said often don't align with her actions. To learn to counter this, i'm thought to myself that nobody's perfect and that includes me, so i don't really have the right to accuse of my mom's words don't align with her actions. Instead of arguing, i'll just try stay silent whenever we argue, and will only talk back when i've calmed down
I'm actually sorry to hear this bro I can kinda relate with the parents being right all the time and low key being hypocritical but your right nobody is perfect all we can hope and pray for is that the teachings of God will help us be better.
