One of the most precious- sentimental knives I own . I actually received mine from a real Navy Seal . Funny !! He’s actually here visiting with his family . I still can’t thank him enough !! Very Cool !!
Haha He is a Rock Star my brother !!! About a decade or so ago , he was basically blown up ! ( he and his team were in a Jeep over in Afghanistan , and they ran over something then went KA-BOOM “). He lost a couple of friends during that . He could not walk for a while . Half is back , butt , and part of his leg was gone . They told him that he would be receiving a medical / honorable discharge . He said “ Hell No !!! I am not going anywhere “‘ !!!! So after months of rehab - the strength- the courage , he fought his way back . I am proud to say that he is still serving to this day . Most guys would of curled up and went home ( I would of ). Nope !! Not our boy !! So when I talk to him face to face , I feel like a young school girl haha . My wife thinks it’s hilarious!! I don’t fawn over him too much but I definitely get my point across . He’s one cool - bad Assed dude !! Maybe I’ll bring him with me when I come visit ya !! Haha PS - I live next door to his in-laws . They always tell me “ shush !! Not supposed to be telling you this - but ……”. Haha I love it !! So proud of that man !! I thought he would of been done with the Seals after we found out about that tragedy . Still going strong !!
@@tubes5150 please get me his autograph brother. I will keep it under wraps and I will forever be greatly appreciated. Your awesome and he’s lucky to have you for a friend my brother because I know I am. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🗡⚔️🔪🙏🤘🤙🏻
Very, *very* cool fighting knife. I've always like It's appearance in terms of the clip point design. I bought mine at a military surplus shop in Fort Bliss in El Paso and loved it since. It's too bad that on some later models some of the sheathes actually dull out the blade because of the metal piece in the sheath. But I think it's worth noting, however, that a normal Buck 119 Special sheath *will* actually house the MK3 Navy knife pretty well. Give it a try, you might like it.
A true classic! I had one of those years ago, but it got lost (or stolen) during my move. Outstanding blade my friend Cowboy CBOP's video was cool, and I guess we share similar tastes, because I have 2 of those he showed, and the other 3 are all in my Wishlist at a couple knife retailers, lol. I have that Maserin Boar Bowie with a green micarta handle, and the big Fox FX-140XL.
That’s a awesome blade. I have been working on my Spain collection but I can’t quit getting custom designs out of the way. Thank you so much for for watching. Me and cowboy 🤠 are really cool friends and he’s a amazing person
@@donavantew8278 I used to live near him! I lived in the Philly area for 18 years when I worked for USAirways at the Philly airport. Unfortunately, I never met him. Only found him here on the tubes like everyone else. It would have been cool to get to hang out and talk blades with him!

Survival 101 knife rite there , it a good piece of Kit Tew ,and it will work as a combat thruster if need , the uses the RS1 by Cold Steel in the Buds training now also for the SEALS Training Tew.
it is an awesome blade..that handle looks like it fits your hand well...Ontario can definitely give Kabar a run for their money...there handles are more comfortable...great vid Donny boy
Seems like the initial variation, cool. As far as I know, US Navy soon requested that the tip was re-designed as the initial tip could break with using the knife for prying. It is a bit confusing for me that some say it is a divers knife and some says it is a fighting knife. As far as I know, they guys getting this did not train on hand to hand combat under water. A divers knife back in the days tended to not be that sharp. It reminds me of a ruskie bayonet, the tip looks VERY similar. Anyways, good video and a very nice historical item. The later versions with different tip is easier to get hold of, the initial version is harder to find.
It comes from AK-47 bayonet...it is Combat diving survival...still use in speciall forces in China antiterorism commando Hongkong etc ...they teach to fight with these knives..this knife is from 1961...
I had no idea they were issued to navy seals during their buds training. That’s so cool and such a plus. I truly love military blades. It’s like your holding history 🗡🔪⚔️🙏👍🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸#22aday
