My speculation on why they call it a sanitary is because it keeps cities/homes sanitary, unlike 200 years ago when people used to shit in buckets that they kept inside the home until it was full, and then disposed of into streets, waterways etc. which obviously a public health nightmare. Thus warranting the introduction of the first "Sanitary System" which i believe was first installed on a city wide scale in London in the 1800s or something.

I was thinking this. That's awesome.
Joe rogan: let’s get Elon musk on the podcast
Theo Von: lets get a plumber on the podcast
Keepin it real
@@jimmyintheswamp and way more entertaining
Showing real people love, theo doesnt forget who he is
digitalsmithy for real.. I use to ONLY listen to JRE & now my go-to's are TPW & Whiskey Ginger (Andrew santino) love that one too
And that's why we all love Theo. Hes just a down to earth real ass dude who doesnt change or forget where he came from. Still enjoy most of JREs podcasts, but Theo has become my go to lately. Hes always come thru with those big hitters boyieee!! Lol
"You ain't tryna clean someone's shitter then polish off a thing of deviled eggs"
Theo Von is pretty much unrivaled when it comes to pulling seemingly random yet not-so-random catchy phrases out of thin air. His style of speech is so unique and it really makes these interviews a joy to hear.
Theo: "Ever found anything crazy in a pipe?"
Plumber: "Found a baby once..."
That went 0-60 real quick. Damn..
"That drain baby".
Time stamp?
@@theguerovaquero Just watch the damn show. You will get there eventually..
@@TalkingThrones haha I did and I came back to delete my comment and I see your bitch ass here
ryan moore Yeah i thought he was joking for like 4 seconds until he went into the story
"I forgot I said that but I still agree with myself"
- Theo Von
"You sick now?"
Theo: Uhhh I'm not doin great but I'm doin... this year... I'm feelin okay
This guy is so well-spoken and interesting. Theo definitely needs to have a series dedicated to interviewing hard-working people like this.
I could see Theo interviewing a plumber, carpenter, electrician, etc; and he starts a podcast around hanging out with them and building an actual house. That'd be wholesome.
male stripper..
Theo Vons tool time
Ex convict would be cool
Hey Theo.Figure you probably won't see this, but this interview has blown my mind brother. It goes to show. It's not fame, or fortune that makes people interesting. It's the story behind the person that fuels the interest. I think you've come across something special here. It would be nice to see more of this!
Duh you don't have to be famous to have a interesting life. You couldn't figure that out yourself?
@@Vaporisers I was just stating it as a compliment dumbass. Based on all your comments seems you dont have anything interesting going on in your life, so you have to criticize others. Good luck with that.
Theo has told us for a while he’s been struggling this year. I really hope things get better for you man. We love your show and you as a person!
As licensed plumber in the state of Tennessee for the last 21 years was refreshing to hear this guy chat! Although I never worked for roto rutor I’ve seen and had similar experience. 1 exception I’ve always 100% wore gloves nitrile gloves and thicker rubber gloves when augering sanitary waste lines .
as a fellow trade worker this is my Fav episode so far, we are the most needed and least respected by ppl who cant do it themselves that's why they cant understand the price it cost's to do good work. Respect to this guy and anyone else busting their ass for themselves and takes pride in their work.
I respect you!! I come from a blue collar family and I, myself, work in construction (yes, a girl in construction...I know lol). My point is, there are people in the world who know trade workers do the damn thing so thank you for everything you do!!
Trust I respect tf out yall, you're dealing wit h peoples poop! N yall act like doot doo doo doot doo just grab poo raw n wash 3 times I can't! (Ik after years yall don't care but still!)
You should do a whole career series
This has been more interesting than most famous people that have been on here.
And how did you meet this fellow?
He found this dude's phone# on CraigsList where this plumber advertises. He said it right near the end of this podcast.
I made a comment that might get buried, but I agree and I recommend August Hunicke or Buckin Billy Ray if you want an incredible lumberjack/arborist. Look up their names to check out their RUclips channels
the celebrity life and pc culture has made famous ppl more boring than the ppl you know in your own life................sad....the only cool thing about being a celeb is the money and fame but lifestyle wise eating so healthy and all that fake bullshitting each other..................prolly not as fun as what Rick James experienced....diff Hollywood
A whole blue collar series
I sit down with regular people who have taken a hobby or passion and turned it into a business, might be your thing? podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/getting-it-done/id1477200251
is it just me or does Theo von always have genius jokes that no one ever picks up on?
aaron estrada they're honestly too damn good lol he's so consistent/creative with them & his presentation is so confident, I think it often comes across as a normal convo because he's so smooth that it sometimes goes over heads
Hopefully he doesn't turn into a Dice Clay and literally becomes his character/schtick irl.
It's like turdminator
It's u
I love this one, my family has owned a plumbing and fire sprinkler company for over 40 years. I appreciate the hell out of this.
Love these episodes with "regular" people! Theos genuine interest is so fun and wholesome.
Theo pissing in the corners of his room as a kid to mark his territory has got to be the funniest shit I've ever heard.
I'd piss in my mom's room😅😆
@@TEAMGETHELP I'd piss in your moms room too. And on her face if she asks kindly enough. If she plays her cards right.
I noticed they didn't mention the dates of his plumbing tour.

"I been fightin these turds all morning" 💀
Damn they paid him $500 to be there that’s cool... Because to do the podcast he is not working on calls! Damn but his business gunna get more calls now!
Yeah he sounds like he cares about his work and does it well, if I was in the area I'd consider him.
other people would think that its the plumber's honor to be on but theo acts like its his honor... love this dude
The dynamic felt so natural in this episode, like if y'all knew each other for a while .
This is literally the greatest Plumber Interview ever created lol
Love this guy! He's a better interview subject than some of the celebrities!
Way better than....
*most of the celebrities
Man, this guy has probably been one of the top 5 guests theo has ever had on. He beats the hell out of bill burr.
Exactly! I think Burr is somewhat jealous of Theo. That's why he was being an awkward turd when he was on the show.
Bill Burr is not even funny.
No joke. Bill Burr lost a fan that day.
@@patrickcenkush519 do people really think it was that bad? Burr said later on he liked theo and the public reaction was overblown
@@sthomasond if you haven't watched it, watch it. Give me your opinion.
Theo needs to have a compilation of plumbing stories... as a 37 years experienced plumber they just scratched the surface
i love that you can tell theo is legitimately interested in these random guests he brings on. these are some of the best episodes imo.
he was getting a bit bored by the end.
Feel like the “turdinator” joker was brushed over too easy. Either that or he heard it as the terminator. Pure genius!
Dylan88 for sure heard it as terminator, that's what I heard. Will have to go back and find once I finish! Unless you have a time stamp for me lol
A few great jokes got passed right by, Theo is so freaking funny but he doesnt hit regular punch lines so people miss it sometimes. Hes funny AF, but he really gets them hitters when hes just being Theo, and basically just rambling about whatever pops into his head lol
Same with calling the sewer the "San Andreas Fart Line." His B and C lines are still gold
@19:24 because he didnt exactly say trudinator either
“Happy to talk to a plumber cause I don’t know anything about plumbing”
Haha you’re the man Theo 😂👍🏼
Teddy BAD B0Y so genuine lol he’s like a grown kid, man
Mike Milly we all can aspire to be a little like that haha

Theo: "Do they hide 'em or what"
"Now, How do you plumb in hawaii??"" hahaha wtf theo
Keep talking to these average people! i love this

“We go out and dig out a septic tank”
“People hide em or what?” 😂😭
Theo...😂

Theo look like he tryna hide from the feds or something.
😂
This is probably the only good comment in this whole thread.
He's just sober and weird now man lol
“Now when you run out of draino, can you pour gasoline down there?”
LMAO I love how the dude just said “don’t pour draino down there” instead of commenting on the gasoline
I LOVE this idea! Interviewing regular people. brilliant
theos genuinely probably the funniest person in this world like i’ve never laughed so hard consistently with a comedian the way theo makes me laugh
Guest "we had to dig up the septic tank" theo " so people try to hide it from you. Haha so genuine. Gang dang bang!
This guy is charismatic and smart, can keep up the interesting conversation better than a lot of comedians on this show.
This guy is giving off some serious paul rudd vibes.
Like if Paul Rudd and Howie Mandel had a baby

@@blaineskate9580 you’re right on with that one dude
Thanks for doing these interviews. I'm a plumber 31 yrs old and this matches up to a real day to day depection of a plumbers life. We work hard and do what no one wants to for the health and safety of this national. People forget we make sure that you arent drinking shit water and install medical gas line in hospitals. We do alot more then digging up septic tanks and unstopping sewer lines
Theo's interviewing is superb and stylistic, his best attribute being genuinely interested in the interviewee
I didn't know I was so interested in plumbing, lol
Either did I.... And Im a plumber 😂🤣
This guys such a natural talker!
18:26 “That Walker Buehler colon.” Haha, Theo keeps up with baseball.
I was a plumber's apprentice in the 90's. I was on a trencher in Texas and dug up Indian bones. The company I worked for went out of business because of that. It is Hard work! Recpect!
