This hand crank charger is one of those sold on chines websites. It work fine but IMHO it needs some modifications in order to make it safer. In this video I try so show how you can make a regulated 5V section isolated from the main regulator. This way if you forget to select the 5V on the switch you won't damage your electronic USB gear.
I also added a battery to the unit, this way you can store your electronic production and charge your devices smoothly.
We take advantage from a power bank. We will use its charging circuit and also its regulator in order to pump up the voltage from its 3.4ish volts to the 5V we need.
I am not an expert whatsoever. I will be glad to ask to your questions and learn from your comments and suggestions.
