As far as I remember, there is a rule in ALGS that allow up to one player switch during the tournament and after the roster lock! Teams can play with a minimum of 2 players. This said, switching emtee with Timmy is within the rules. Yes, I do agree that those rules are still fcked up...

Raw skill and stacked rosters will USUALLY not lead to better results right away. There’s a few metric ass-tons of time, grit and carpal tunnel that go into really solidifying as a team. Sure, Waltzy is a better IGL than Dezign, but I wouldn’t count on Moist going nuclear right away like Falcons. Maybe after like 6 months of team building and scrims, they’ll look like a scary team, but that’s IF they all grind their fingers off TOGETHER. Sadge for Enemy and Dezign, but hopefully DSG picks up another cool dude and they start kicking ass again.

As someone who did main Wraith hard I agree very much with this. IGL aside you can’t just stick to a character due to comfort. Teams that keep up with the times do the best, even TSM (with Hal) struggled hard with Conduit Meta due to the lack of understanding it. I noticed Wraith lacked severely behind in the meta and compared to other legends. So I switched it up. Now I play more of a variety of legends that would fit most meta’s. Right now I play a good Bloodhound who has maintained consistency for years and now I don’t struggle as much after getting used to it. Design’s issue is not skill, it’s not communicating. It’s purely mentally. He’s got some sort of personal hurdle to get over that genuinely some sort of therapy to work through. He’s the one that brings it in without realising it. It causes him to play the way he does. Causes him to refuse change as much as possible. It gets us here. Anyway rant over.
