I used to play very very good. From last few years I can't even leave the striker properly. My hand shakes while trying to leave the striker. Pressure on finger builds so much that sometimes pawn goes out of board 😀. Sadly I sit an watch. My grip changed from 1st to spin grip over period of time. Not sure how it happened. Re-learning is very very tough.
Try disassociating wrist from rest of the body. Tell your subconscious mind that it's your hand beyond the wrist that puts the force and not entire body

Spin grip is really cheated grip, introduced in modern carrom.
There was no spin grip in my days.....and Dear You forget scissor grip.

That is a local rule. Federation rule allows all CM to be played in any grip as explained in the rules
