I'm an ARMY and i'm proud of my baby Jungkook. But i have to say that Jung Dongha senior's vocal is on a different level, so emotional, soulful and skillful.. a very talented arstist. No doubt my baby would loose to him but anyway, Jungkook did a good job tho ^^

true, we should not forget thay jungkook is only 18 yo int age, and he has no time to practice with their hectic schedules, he should work more on his voice in the future and with our support he'll get there.. i'm sure that his voice is gonna change a lot once he gains experience and finds time for practice
Also bear in mind that they have very different styles. Jungkook's style can reach to the deepest part of my heart with the honey-like, whispering kinda voice. This person is very powerful. They are different and that's why the judges said it's very hard to compare.

He's on an entire different level compared to idol singers tbh. Too much power, control, and soul in his voice.
Idol singers mostly "force" to "accommodate" for harmonization vocal of the group whereas soloist/vocalist of bands have no burdens to do so....
its no lie that most idol singers arent great at singing, and its also no lie that even the good idol singers do not compare to soloists, i mean there is a reason why soloists are soloists

i love how everyone is being so mature and acknowledging talent/skill instead of being blindly biased towards jungkook... to be honest i like jungkook's voice more because it sounds more young/boyish/pretty but objectively speaking jung dong ha's vocals are more professional and better so of course he won :D

Jun Dong-Ha's voice is SO famous, and his movements are so distinctively his, I knew it was him immediately. Plus, he's one of the few rockers who has 3 octaves, and can go from husky to pure rock in one breath. I couldn't believe the panel didn't know him immediately!

Wow it's really obvious that they are adding more singers/idols to this show to give it more views and rating. This is obvious who this is. Even to the untrained ear you know who's technique this belongs too. Kookie lost but he can learn from his sunbaes. Especially if he gets close to them behind the stage. That's how he can grow. I'm happy Kookie came on the show because now he can connect with great singers like this guy. (Not going to point out who it is cuz everyone's already doing that).

Jungkook is great, but Jungkook is definitely not the best vocalist out there. As far as skills go, he is a rather weak vocalist. He has no support at all, he is almost always nasal and sings with a lot of tongue and jaw tension.
This man whom Jungkook lost to is Jung Dongha, and Jung Dongha is a great vocalist. He knows how to support, his run are almost never sloppy, he sings with near to 0 tension and gets only throaty above D4 which is pretty amazing for a Baritone like him.
If it comes to personnal taste, then yes, I also like Jungkook's voice more. He is younger, his voice more mellow and sentimental. It suits his song choice perfectly and I totally love the RnB feels he gives off.
But, no, he is not a better vocalist than Jung Dongha and that is the reason as to why he lost.
The mask is to keep people from judging in a biased way. On this show, the better vocalist moves on, not the one who has the prettiest voice.

Huh. I watch this over and over bcoz of Jung Dong Ha's voice. His voice are really on different level. So I read the comment and it's kind of irritating bcoz mostly people talk about how good is jungkook and I prefer him. Lol guys... R u guys kidding. This person is a legend and jungkook has a long way to go to reach his level. I'm not saying jungkook's voice is nothing, he is a real something but come on ... Stop comparing... It's such a shame for people to comparing them. Looking at dong ha's experience, skill techniques and jung kook's... it answered and explain the real reason why dong ha win... Grow up guys.
This was Kookie's opponent? No doubt this guy is really good. And given kookie's experience, he is still very young compared to him. His name is Jung Dongha, right? I applaud him. His vocal texture and technique is obviously very mature because he really is well experienced. Maybe when Kookie reaches this point in his lifetime, he will be as matured as Dongha, and he'll grow more as an artist/singer. So it's okay even if Kookie lost. I think the decision was made fair and square :) Just my opinion 👌🏼

Two extremes- a voice with loads of power, and then one with no power at all. Unfortunately a song needs a little bit of power to be audibly interesting- 'If You' has it in the original version for a _reason_. 에헤라디오 has the control to know when to sing soft, but the power to belt when it's needed.
Eheradio voice may be not everyone cup of tea. But to me he's so amazing. Soulful voice and great singing ability. I always cried when he sang ballad song like this.

Kookie did a great job!! This guy sounds older than Kookie. The older a person gets the deeper and melodic their voice gets. Kookie is still very young. His voice is beautiful Now but it will get deeper and even more beautiful the older he gets! 😀
exactly, jungkook is 18 yo international age, he's got no time for practice+ really young, can't wait to hear the progress in his voice. he still did great and with our support he'll become even better in the futur
It'll just depend on how much Jungkook is willing to improve and for that he'll need to get lessons. I've heard somewhere that he doesn't really want vocal training because he wants to sing how he naturally sounds. Granted his voice is perfect for the kind of music he's pursuing so I don't think he'll improve considerably. On the other hand, Jung Dongha (his competitor) actually worked on perfecting his vocals when he was Jungkook's age before starting his music career as Boowhal's frontman. He was already really good when he started and got better as the years passed. Granted, Dongha experiments with genres of music and different styles so he is naturally motivated to improve his vocals. I think the first step for Jungkook to improve is to have that kind of mindset.
