It's my day off at work. I am at a local park enjoying a little sunshine on a winter day. I lay on the green grass looking at the vast pale blue sky while listening to the timeless wisdom that the Upanishads hold. I do not know what bliss feels like, but I sure am more than happy right now! Thank you Samaneri:)
Sounds like bliss to me! Bliss is one of those words that are misunderstood and misconceived - like God and Love. And perhaps it is a poor English translation of the original. True, lasting bliss is not limited to ecstasy or some Divine orgasmic experience - those things are nice but they are part of the conditioned realm and come and go. Bliss is your true Nature and does not come and go but only appears to when ignorance veils it. Bliss is cool, calm, steady, equanimous, abiding deep peace, joy and love. It is manifest with the realisation of true emptiness, in the relinquishing of all desires, in the freedom from the delusion of 'me' and 'other'. It is purity incarnate, without an active, grasping, identifying mind. The next time you meet a new born baby - look deeply into its eyes - there you will see bliss and a reflection of yourself in its mirror.
The only caveat, of course, is not to claim or cling to this. For the moment we start to over think or grasp on to it as 'my bliss', it is no longer true Bliss, but just another egocentric mind trip. How to be empty without being anything or anyone? Simply see the mind's subtle deceptions and clingings. In seeing this it automatically drops away, and our true, innocent, pure, uncontrived Nature has a chance to shine through.
@@SamaneriJayasara🙏 i see it 'as it is" simply and natural. Let it come, and let it go whenn it leaves, its never lost.. Knowing mind is ignorant, all mental adds will obscure it, Bliss is Self alone. I will say emptiness, plenitude, j😊Y
Dear light in the world. I cannot express how much Your readings of these teachings mean to me, how they have nourished my heart and soul. Your readings are so precious to me. They convey wisdom and love to my thirsty spirit. Bless you a thousand times. 🙏🕊🙏
Wonderfull, may this widom resonate in the hearts of men. May all beings flourish in the beatitude of Brahman. May we realize this peace that dwells in all the corners of creation. May hear the silent knowledge of the trees, the blossoming of the flowers, the love of our mothers, the strength of the just, and the liberated heart of the seers. May we flow into that ocean of love that is our Self
Here I am again, after a year, listening to this most profound teaching, as old as the universe or, should I say ageless, eternal, supreme ????? Every time I need comfort, every time I need to reconnect, I listen to this. And this purifies my soul. Thank you!!!!!!!
Dear Samaneri Jayasara, I wish I had words to express my gratitude. Your sharing of these jewels has been the most important thing at this moment of my life. May all beings benefit from the love and light of these teachings.
This is the joy supreme this is the joy of the spirit oh king. So poignant, that the sage gives the answer to Janaka at the end of each statement. And before the next inquiry. The generosity of God to give before we have asked and the placing of the end before the beginning as a symbol of the utter freedom of the joy supreme. I find this teaching to be deeply moving and utterly profound. I wouldn’t know it but for your actions. Thank you.
Starting reading commentaries on some of the Upanishads recently. The philosophy they present is astounding, awe inspiring and also slightly unsettling. I’m trying to make sense of it. So glad I found this post. I bow down to to the Divine in all of you and hope we all find liberation from the great illusion. 🙏🏼
This is one of the most beautiful jewels I've ever listened to in my life. I don't know how many times I've already listened to it. Every time there's something different, more precious. Thank you, Jayasara, again!
Is there anything in all the worlds as magnificent as the Upanishad discourses? Only the dialogues of Socrates, as recorded by Plato, perhaps: "know thyself". Unsurpassable wisdom, 🌈 🌄 🌌.
@@paveldytrych4442 Thanks Pavel. I had not been aware of this mystic. The book, which I googled after reading your comment, sounds wonderful. Perhaps our kind & obliging Samaneri Jayasara will read from it! 💜 🙏 🌌

Beautiful, thank you. You are the lighter of candles on a christmas tree Each light shines bright and each candle makes the next one shine brighter With love Klaus
I think the truest of words is, "He who speaks does not know". I view it as one person's opinion that we are not here for the purpose of creating. We can see that many different opinions have been spoken by many different people who have found the source of nature. By abandoning all thoughts of the world we find the source of nature but in returning to the world that appears from this source we are again inevitability bound by it's limitations in understanding what we have found. The Spirit does not speak or appear to be anywhere. Any thing we see, hear..., is what appears from what can't be sensed and is necessarily distorted. Brahman as the word that symbolizes this foundation can not be known not even by God or Shiva but can only be known of because it is without form but is from where form emerges. It may be we need not desire that which we have or are but it may also be that our purpose in this place made entirely of imagination is for us to continue to imagine the Creation of the world we choose to experience. I don't believe Creation was an accident and something that we should avoid participating in because it somehow attaches us to darkness. Atman is the light of the world, the beginning and the end, the cause and effect of all that appears to be, the witness of it's own Creation. I don't see any reason to stop creating when we become aware that we are the creator of what we experience. I see wisdom as knowledge used in understanding the foundation of knowledge not in denying it's usefulness. These are just my opinions of course. 🙏
The words used in that teaching are not so close to me(eg spirit etc) but I understand perfectly...😯👌 (I remember once I've read the Gita many years ago and it didn't make too much sense to me at that time..). Thank you very much ❤️
