This was SUCH an awesome playthrough to witness! Honestly, just kind of in awe at everything you guys managed to pull off and strategize! ^w^ I have been meaning to ask tho- Was any sort of way you guys could guarantee good drops from the well with some sort of slight rigging, was it through luck, or something else? I have the attention span of a goldfish so I might have missed your explanation of it earlier in the run- But if there is something to it, I’d love to know^^ Wanted to see if I can try the same thing in my more casual playthroughs~!
@@tacoblm9570 Thanks, and glad you like it! Regarding the well, we did this run on emulator where it’s possible to mod the game to get 100% well drops. Of course, going to this extreme is only really useful for getting the absolute lowest turncounts. For a normal playthrough it’s more than enough to get 100% sp books, so you can work with a mod that only guarantees those. You can also rig the well manually - note that the outcome is determined at the time when you drop in the items, so you can make a save before dropping, make another save after dropping, then clear an arbitrary chapter quickly (adjusting difficulty to normal), and check the results before doing the actual map
