It a beautifully design 3.75 inch figure. That is why my children love the scale. With the Vehicles in scale to 3.75 inch, they could have a lot of opportunities. Proud of Hasbro for doing a Great figure. Thank you for your review. Love the head sculpt os way better then any Black Series, the whole figure is Amazing. Will definitely buy it for my children but I will buy one for me as well.
The price is the same as the carbonized TVC figures wave to order here. I wonder if he was meant to be for that series with the way the paint looks? The HasLab figure's silver in the updated pictures matches what is on the Black Series Beskar figure.
@@jurassicwars Agreed, I've always been a 3.75 guy. I do like the Black Series but I pick and choose what characters I get from that line. TVC is Star Wars for me and nostalgia.
This two pack looks fantastic! Thanks for going into the details of how nicely sculpted these are. Your enthusiasm for these figures in contagious. I'm extremely excited to get my hands on these.
A couple days after receiving the figures myself, I remembered that Din received the Mudhorn signet and the jetpack after IG-11 sprayed him with bacta, if that helps justify the lack of blood on the head sculpt.
Resisted the temptation to fork out for this on ebay. These have been selling for £35-50+ recently. Picked one up in Forbidden Planet this morning for £18.99. Thanks for the cool review, BB.
I got one of my two from Walmart. Such a great release that's unfortunately being handled so poorly here in the States. Good luck to everyone who's trying to get their hands on one.
What a beautiful masterpiece: articulation, detail, head sculpt-what else can we the fans and 3.75 inch collectors ask for? a great gift for Christmas...
@@BossksBounty just went on in demand toys and it is a pre order! How are you getting these so early! It hasn’t been released and you get figures early all the time?? Bossk I love your show but something isn’t right here!
Just got mine a few days ago!! I always love to come back to your reviews when I get the figures it makes me appreciate the figures even more than I do!!
Gosh, this figure looks amazing! The sculpt, the details, paint, just a high quality figure rendered even more amazing because of his size! Such a great face sculp! Great accessories, justifies the *slightly* more expensive price point easily. Easily. Great review as always! Love your content!
First of all thanks for not giving spoilers to the Mandalorian I haven't seen this new season yet and also you do great reviews that was really nice. I can't believe how quickly you get your stuff good job.
I’m kinda surprised that they did a separate head sculpt and not a removable helmet, I’ve never seen that on a Vintage Collection figure before. Now I’m hoping that they include the hole for the jet pack on the Haslab Razor Crest version, having it with the cloth cape would be amazing.
@@riokeast393 yeah, I just mean that if there isn’t the hole in the back to peg the jet pack into, you won’t be able to use it regardless. It would be perfect to drape the soft goods cape to the side like he does in the show.
@@marty2489 ah yes, they did. Although, with Shae there was no way that head would fit inside the helmet with the hair. I don’t see why that would be an issue for Din.
Stunning definitive version for the Vintage Collection-what a wonderful piece to acquire and cherish. Thank you for all the content and stay safe in locked down UK.
So, so glad he can wear his jetpack and cape at the same time, would've been a disappointing oversight IMO if he couldn't. Thanks so much for the comparision shots of the two Babies Yoda!
This guy looks damn perfect! Walmart seemed to have stepped their game up with the way they sent my retros. I’m hoping they send this guy in the same protective box!
Fantastic figure set! I'm a little jealous you got yours so early. I only wish it came with a second cape accessory to work with the rising phoenix jet pack.
Update for US collectors. Looks like my Walmart exclusive Mandalorian with child is on its way to me. I should receive it in a few days. But I preordered 7 of them and they so far cancelled 5 of them, so I might just get 2. Incinerator trooper is still in limbo.
Love your video. Thanks for comparing the 2 childs between vintage and black series. Super bummed out that it's not a removable helmet. But still adding to my collection.
Really a great issue here & face likeness may be best I've seen in TVC to date. Only downer is the plastic cape as prefer cloth but presumably can replace with a 3rd party pickup. Thanks for the detailed quality review.
This is one of the first videos I have caught up on and I'm amazed at the detail and the size of the child also the head sculpt is amazing on the mando. Great video my friend!
Hahahaha, I am doing exactly the same. I'm also regularly looking out my window, every day, from when I get up, till about four in the afternoon. I feel like such a child, but I'm just so excited for this figure!😂
@@lamarravery4094 I did, and it didn't disappoint... well, there was actually a slight issue with mine😅 The bandolier and gunbelt, didn't have any paint-apps, it was just brown☹ So, I ended up buying some metallic silver paint, and did it myself. Enjoyable, but it shouldn't have been the case. Apart from that, though? Excellent figure! I hope yours arrives without any issues😂
I'm getting mine too, they just shipped him a few days ago from California. Should get him by the end of the week. They cancelled 5 of my preorders though. I wanted to have extras, such a cool figure, can't wait.
My only critique of this figure well actually two critiques one for each figure. I would have preferred that his helmet been removable as opposed to having to remove the head they’ve done this plenty of time with stormtroopers even a cheaper figure in Sabine wren on a 5 poa figure with which the helmet was removable so not sure why they chose to do it this way. And the child’s arm pop out as soon as you try moving them, however that could be just a fault with mine rather than all the figures that are packaged with this mando figure otherwise great looking figures.
Looks really nice! I didn't expect these to show up on our shores so quickly! I may have to pick up a second one to display with the Din Djarin headsculpt which looks superb! Theres is really no excuse for the Black series 6" version to look as bad as it did in the promo pics. Hopefully the released version will be as nice as this 3.75" version.
TVC for me, collect them all. The black series I pick what I like. I am buying the ones from the show and cut off anything marvel now. Might sell off what I have in marvel to fund my Star Wars with some much product coming this year
Picking it up tomorrow (hopefully) from a local store that's meant to have them. I keep losing out on the large black series one due to scalper bots and will have to settle on this. Sad it has no pram but otherwise seems strangely superior. Head being a separate piece is great to stop paint damage.
There is next to no friction with the jetpack peg in my figure. Had to work with with nail polish to add a bit of texture so it actually stays in plays quite well. Other alternative if superglue (i mean making an extra layer for friction) if you're not afraid. Otherwise I dare to say this is the best star wars 3 inch figure Hasbro has ever produced. Paint application on my head sculpt is even better than yours.

This looks so much better than the Black Series version, especially the head sculpt.
As a black series collector I agree and wish they used the amazing silver paint they used of this for the black series figure

Hes slightly more expensive due to the accessories, same as the Sith trooper with all the weapons
Agreed. I think the removable helmet for the black series affected the headsculpt. This interchangable head is much more better.
Even both vintage collection mandos have the screen accurate helmet while non black series have it.
I cant wait for these to ship here in the states! I think this figure is a win for the TVC compared to TBS
