Still, I think it is good that game has strategic depth. I am also sure if the developers get their statistics and see this to be ruining the community, they will find ways to fix it.
If you know exactly which unit the enemy is going for 100% (which is the case when playing against UU from getting Phosphorued), then you should always have the edge because you can always go all in on the counter unit. Matching a fast castle to keep up with techs should also be manageable, especially as you can collect 450(+) of any resource while your opponent is collecting the stone for the castle. I wholeheartedly believe that this strat is neither broken nor will it make the game worse in the long run. It is exciting that we now have even more variety in strategy. We've come a long way since mirrored Hun wars ^^

It's because he spams patrol/attack move several times, so the units respond with multiple attack lines that overlap -- and that one line is so much longer than all the others, that it ends last, so it sticks out.
And I remember that player colors looked amazing. Especially yellow, green and purple. Green was fancy instead of this weird neon green, yellow was like banana yellow instead of piss yellow and purple was like magenta instead of grape taffy purple

Map scripting has come such a long way with DE. We have actor areas now so you can place objects at specific locations, where before, you needed a certain terrain to be present underneath the object. I think it will keep getting better and in 4 years, we will be playing different maps from what we are playing now.

What I learned from Viper here is that you should first scout it (Viper scouted it quite late) and then put pressure on stone and gold with towers, archers, and man at arms come handy as well. The hard thing is you really have very limited amount of time to react.
I believe this to be the truest spelling of that voiceline. Mind you, I do not know that, but I firmly believe in the weirdness in spelling for celtic languages.
The real phosphoru strat is done with unique units who don't have a counter in feudal, he always has a window to kill you before you can have decent numbers of the castle age unit to counter his units, sure you can't go skirm with organ guns or hussite wagons

I mean, i don't know if a normal transition to castle age can deal with the peak of organ guns, korean UU or hussite in amy way, the only i see is walled relatively running feudal economy (or even spread around the map with vills) make mess and mobility units to make gerrilla warfare lol

1. phosphoru shouldn't counter tower stone and doesn't need the stone, he needs the gold. he just buys stone if he can't take 2. arambai really suck for this, countered by skirms and not good at killing vills/skirms/siege with low numbers because of inaccuracy
I think it was a mistake to sacrifice those celt MAA uselessly. You could have at least left them attacking a building and dealing constant eco damage. Not like he can really get rid of them without investing more than you.

We need RTSs like Broken Arrow, Men of War 2 and war game series. Games like aoe2 sure they look more realistic than Starcraft but they ain't that realistic.

To be honest, Lewis didn't have the perfect execution. Phosphoru is way better at handling the feudal pressure
Personally as a 1400-1600 I hate the phosphoru style all in. Its pretty garbage to play against.
