This episode is everything I hoped for after reading the manga. And I knew the anime would get the chance to show us so much more than what the manga could in its panels. This episode REALLY got to show us that. To see the side fights and everything that had been quiet between the gigantic main battles and get to see EVERYONE in Class A and B go all out. This made my day! Todoroki caused a shockwave of joy across the literal entire country by beating Touya. To see EVERYONE from EVERY field on the hero’s side celebrating that, All-Might breaking down crying and Tsukauchi giving him the mic to spread the news literally brings it ALL together for the heroes. That felt FANTASTIC to watch. Iida got his role on the Dabi field in spite of his weakness to fire! He was there to quickly dispatch all the side villains and the Nomu assigned to Dabi! And Iida was actually doing REALLY well against the high ends in season 6! So if he got close to the middle of his Recipro-Turbo during that fight, he DOES have the speed to manage such a large scale villain! And even with all the pros there, and the flamin sidekickers securing Dabi, I knew IMMEDIATELY Iida had put in all the leg work to help secure the area! He was literally running circles around other pros in the 1st war and EVEN survived hits from AFS himself, THIS is what I needed to see Iida do. Mount Lady, Kodai, Yanagi, Honenuki, Mineta, Mina, and Kirishima are fighting the villains that killed Midnight, and the slime villain that was in season 1! Along with many new cool designed villains. One looks like a whisper of fate, one is…a different universe Harley Quinn, there’s a lot of good stuff there. All with the goal of determining if Gigantomachia gets back on the field or not! Mount Lady I swear with how she talks to the UA kids she’s going to look for ways to either become a UA teacher or try and hire everyone she can. This is the same lady who couldn’t stop doing EVERYTHING to be on camera now just endlessly gushing about the kids she’s seen get stronger since season 5. Mina has a bunch of new moves that help as her defense but also disarm equipment of what the villains carry. Mineta has a PILE of villains going. Honenuki just one shots an entire squad. And Yanagi and Kodai doing their combo again to cover practically everything else! Along with Kirishima just being the main motivator and being what is probably one of the toughest ones for the villains to stop along with Honenuki. ALL OF THIS is brand new we barely got to see from the manga. This was literally 2 panels or LESS in the manga because this was an interim chapter catching us up at EVERY fight at once. They just went NUTS with it and I’m smiling ear to ear! I had NO recollection of seeing Sato, Ojiro, and Sero just going nuts in the streets somewhere. I even caught Tsuburaba using his air cage move in the back! Bakugo is holding the line against AFS spreading his body. We get a more full scene of Kunieda that’s much more in depth as well explaining what she would have done in the rogue arc had the kids not given Deku an intervention. And her announcing well, I couldn’t face Deku, but I WILL take Aoyama to make an example of those who turn on AFO. ANOTHER 2 panel circumstance given a full scope of the scene. Spinner went from a TMNT turtle to Super Shredder in an INSTANT with AFO’s new gifted quirk to go with his gecko. He’s rallied all the heteromorph people getting ostracized by the world. Facing off against Koda, Shoji, Present Mic, the gorilla detective who comforted Gentle Criminal, and Rock Lock to save Kurogiri. We’re going off the wall here too! But Dabi…might not be done just yet with a light blue glow starting at his heart. And now it’s up to Endeavor and Hawks to confront none other than AFO as they did to Hood the High End Nomu. AFO literally treated Endeavor like a loud kid in a library in season 3 so this is a BIG ask for him. And there’s no one better at messing with people than AFO. (Komori looks like she’s with one of the unnamed heroes from the High End fight in season 4. The guy who can launch his fists like a cannon) AFO is an absolute expert at literally subjecting those he faces to torture and doesn’t hesitate to tell him your lust for power LITERALLY attracted me to your family looking for resources to use. And you couldn’t find Touya that fateful day, because I GOT THERE FIRST. Endeavor was in AGONY after what happened to Touya he was frantic to find him on Sekoto Peak. And with the backstory episode of Touya when the family was in the hospital, it showed that Touya was in the center of every decision Endeavor made that had LOGIC, but lacked the empathy to execute and drove his family to ruin because Endeavor is just TERRIBLE with emotions and failed every major conversation he needed to have with his kids and it turned him into the monster we’ve known him to be. And that’s all AFO needed to go for a lethal attack. Barely missing his lungs but taking Endeavor off the board for even an INSTANT can get EVERYONE on this field killed. And worse, there’s NOTHING worse than EITHER AFO having free rein. And one of the SCARIEST moments in the episode is Tokoyami and Jiro stepping up to AFO. To say THESE two are outmatched is the understatement of the CENTURY. And they have the SLIGHTEST moves to get past AFO’s moves. And Jiro VERY quickly feels the sheer terror that Deku felt when he was hiding from AFO to save Bakugo in season 3. That hanging feeling of death in the air. And she knew Deku and Aoyama had been just DEALING with that terror for the ENTIRE TIME this man has been loose. They’re doing their best and they’ll look for EVERY INCH they can find. And Hawks is having literal PANIC attacks watching his prized student decide I’m willing to go up against the LITERAL DEVIL. Of course I’m nothing but hyped for this fight but also I am SO SCARED to watch these two do this. It is BROAD DAYLIGHT for Tokoyami, and Deku BLACKWHIPS faster than her sound blasts while completely exhausted physically, mentally, and of course above all emotionally. And this is the guy he couldn’t hope to beat while HEALTHY back then. So the fact that Jiro got the Van Gogh treatment from THAT blast is nothing short of a MIRACLE we still have Jiro AND Tokoyami. This episode got to show us EVERYTHING and more. And I’m SO excited to see these battles play out.
Koda just caught two people midair with birds. He should be able to fly by now if he can make them carry him. Jiro with the heartbeat wall can withstand a blast from AFO. Mina using her acid to soften and evade blows. The students really made a lot of improvements
Spinzilla is in the house! And he may or may not be overdosing on one too many quirks at the moment... Anyways, this is the classic case of heroes and villains not being so different. Everyone, every individual person, is doing their part and fighting for what they believe in. Freedom for heteromorphs, a father’s horrible sins, and whatever All for One is up to. Everyone is willing to put their own bodies on the line for a cause greater than themselves. It’s oddly beautiful.
We see a good chunk of the battlefields and their reactions to Shoto winning against Dabi. I personally love Bakugo's little smile and him being happy Shoto won. Back when the series first started, Bakugo also considered Shoto to be his rival. And he denied when the other implied they were friends. But he was also there to comfort him when he was feeling down about Touya. And he was happy for him now. Bakugo can say they aren't friends all he wants. His actions tell a different story. So yeah. Shoto won. Although there is something unsettling about the purple glow that formed at the center of Touya's chest. Oh well. We know Touya didn't accept any extra quirks from AFO. He didn't accept AFO's help as a kid and he isn't accepting it now either. But the same can't be said for Spinner. Spinner, who wants to help Shigaraki. Spinner, who just wants his friend back. Spinner, who thinks he can't do anything. To rush to his side, Spinner will do anything. Even take extra quirks from a guy he clearly doesn't trust. All for Shigaraki. Spinner's job is to free Kurogiri. A very important job. Monoma was able to scatter the villains due to Kurogiri's warp quirk. But all of the heroes' hard work could be undone in an instant if Kurogiri warps the villains back together or separates the heroes. If Machia is freed, that would be a disaster. But if Kurogiri awakens and it's NOT Shirakumo, the heroes are going to be in for a really rough time. It's all riding on Spinner. Moving on to AFO, we see that he still likes pushing people's buttons. He sees that Endeavor's heart isn't in the fight because he's worrying about Shoto and Touya. So AFO gets Endeavor engaged enough to leave an opening. Jiro and Tokoyami stepped in but were both injured. They have to prevent the Demon Lord from reaching Shigaraki. But he's willing to cut down anyone who stands in his way. Side note: I love that the sludge villain all the way back from S1 is back

AFO is sucha menace he was introduced to us as a boogeyman that no one wants to talk about because he was so terrifying with even the strongest hero sweating cold just thinking about their last fight, he's a real shit talker one of my favorite villains ever with a theme song that sends chills down your spine.
Everyone has their part to play, even the extras. Especially the extras. Honestly, we should come up with a better name for them.😅 On a different note though, it looks like Touya’s not finished just yet. He’s inherited a lot of Endeavor’s persistence. In a way, what All for One is saying to Endeavor is kinda right. While Shoto wanted to be the one to confront Touya, he was ultimately Endeavor’s responsibility. It’s even something Endeavor realizes. But still, it’s just All for One being insincere despite the truths of what he’s saying. Just a plan to get in Endeavor’s head so he can beat him.
After the battle against star and stripe the Manga author said Shigirakis regenerative quirk got destroyed and he had to take another one from a nomu, I think thats why All for one doesn't have one because they had to give the last one to Shigiraki
When I originally watched the episode I was laughing at the part where sato showed up and literally got absolutely nothing besides a couple words of dialogue cause I knew you guys were gonna clown on that so hard lol

A dark humor alphabet book about 26 kids (each associated with a letter of the alphabet) and their untimely demise. Also, I am so hyped for the next episode. Depending on how they adapt it, it might be my favorite of the season.
God, I love how even though they knew his taunt tactics, AFO still got Endeavor with a reveal on the same level as the Shigaraki being Nana's grandson one. AFO is just the pettiest, biggest shit talker around, and I love that about him. Also, I remember when this chapter came out in the manga, I saw a lot of complaining about Jiro showing up like "What is she possibly going to do against AFO?" and stuff like that, but I really appreciate a character that absolutely knows they're out of their depth still stepping up to do their part, just like Deku racing to help Bakugo from the Sludge villain.
We saw Eri right before the war started. Her horn is too small and doesnt really have enough stockpile. Remember, Mirio got his quirk back like roughly 2 montha ago. & the gap between overhaul and the last war arc was 4 months and back then she had a decent sized horn.
Watching the little preview clip at the beginning of the intro and then skipping back to the start of your recording was so fun. I was like "these are their faces before they know about SHINSPINZILLA! The final moments!!!!"
my god, every single episode of this season has just been a total knock-out adaptation and amazing journey. i can't believe how we'll they're doing, I'm so fucking pleased with this season
For a while there was a time where I didn’t exactly love All For One (I never disliked him but I just didn’t like him as much as the other villains), but then sometime around the Dark Hero Arc, something clicked and I started to really like him, he’s such a fucking bastard and it’s fun to watch
Little side note, realistically AFO won that 2 vs 1 within seconds of the fight starting, he would have koed hawks and then double tapped Endeavor, I always thought that was both hilarious and terrifying.
Spoiler free: the eo cover ch 353 to half way through ch 355 i honest like the ed more than the op for this season (i still like the op but isnt my favourite one), tsubomi is the second ed to get me emotional after long hope phila in season 3 (which is my favourite ed followed by datte atash no hero from s2 then this ed) this season has been so good so far, the everything has been amazing and im looking forward the see certain moment animated (i predict we will get the cour 2 trailer at anime expo) i remember the speculation back when we saw the panel of the light glowing in dabi chest was some sort of phoniex quirk , a quirk awakening or dabi was going to self destruct. the ep (and cour 1) ending on jiro severed ear jack is just cruel cliffhanger to leave anime onlies consider the ambigiouness of the fates of tokayami and jiro the anime addition: the anime added more of the background fights and extended the other teams reacting to shoto victory the anime actually show spinner transformation the anime added the top 3 heroes in a warehouse discussing the plan to defeat afo the anime removes The anime removes endeavor rough landing, him gasping for breath and him thinking about shoto and touya

If this was a knock out for Endevor just because he's temporarily out of the fight then Deku was knocked out by Stain in season 2 twice in that fight. Just saying, it's a weird preemptive count for a knock out if that's your standard for a knock out.

They extended a lot of stuff in the anime with more fight scenes and that's epic
AFO is sucha menace he was introduced to us as a boogeyman that no one wants to talk about because he was so terrifying with even the strongest hero sweating cold just thinking about their last fight, he's a real shit talker one of my favorite villains ever with a theme song that sends chills down your spine.
They can't have Sato do anything. His fight scenes would use up the entire episode budget.

On a different note though, it looks like Touya’s not finished just yet. He’s inherited a lot of Endeavor’s persistence. In a way, what All for One is saying to Endeavor is kinda right. While Shoto wanted to be the one to confront Touya, he was ultimately Endeavor’s responsibility. It’s even something Endeavor realizes. But still, it’s just All for One being insincere despite the truths of what he’s saying. Just a plan to get in Endeavor’s head so he can beat him.
After the battle against star and stripe the Manga author said Shigirakis regenerative quirk got destroyed and he had to take another one from a nomu, I think thats why All for one doesn't have one because they had to give the last one to Shigiraki

God, I love how even though they knew his taunt tactics, AFO still got Endeavor with a reveal on the same level as the Shigaraki being Nana's grandson one. AFO is just the pettiest, biggest shit talker around, and I love that about him.
Also, I remember when this chapter came out in the manga, I saw a lot of complaining about Jiro showing up like "What is she possibly going to do against AFO?" and stuff like that, but I really appreciate a character that absolutely knows they're out of their depth still stepping up to do their part, just like Deku racing to help Bakugo from the Sludge villain.

For a while there was a time where I didn’t exactly love All For One (I never disliked him but I just didn’t like him as much as the other villains), but then sometime around the Dark Hero Arc, something clicked and I started to really like him, he’s such a fucking bastard and it’s fun to watch
Little side note, realistically AFO won that 2 vs 1 within seconds of the fight starting, he would have koed hawks and then double tapped Endeavor, I always thought that was both hilarious and terrifying.

If this was a knock out for Endevor just because he's temporarily out of the fight then Deku was knocked out by Stain in season 2 twice in that fight. Just saying, it's a weird preemptive count for a knock out if that's your standard for a knock out.
