  • Our view of the popular Lake Garda town of Malcesine, with it's pretty little harbour, cobbled streets and historic castle. We take the ferry across from Limone-sul-Garda, getting excellent views of the town from the lake, and stroll into town, picking up a gelato or two on the way.

      Alasdair,
How fabulous, it will be wonderful, have a great time. If you get a chance, take the ferry across to Limone-sul-Garda (There's a video of that too - ruclips.net/video/iHfnnNXWM2g/видео.html), and if you have the means, a tour around the lake - you guessed it, another video - ruclips.net/video/3yajzjp2U3c/видео.html.
Whatever happens, we are wishing you the best of times, have fun, create memories.
      All the best,
      Gary & Janis

Nice. My grandfather was born in Malcasine, so it'd be interesting to see. Maybe I still have family there.

      Hi James,
You probably have; that would be amazing to track down (it may be a challenge). I bet it was harder times then, with less tourist money coming in, but perhaps more peaceful times too. Hope you're inspired to visit one day too.
Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment,
      Happy & safe travels,
      Gary & Janis

Ah it was lovely, there will be more from this trip over the coming weeks & months. Picking the music is always a challange, trying to find the right music that is royalty free, that fits with the mood - all part of the fun.

Now that sounds fantastic, beautiful place, and all around the lake is wonderful. I guess you have to accept the tourists over the summer, but that does mean you're spoilt for great bars, restaurants & cafes. I'm sure you'll love it when you visit. Take care, stay safe - Gary
