- John Wall’s enjoying one of the best years of his career, finishing 2nd in the NBA in assists per game and leading the Wizards to their first Division crown in 38 years.
Man I just love how John Wall plays, he's so composed and will leave you thinking where he's gonna go next. And he seems like a genuinely nice guy so he doesn't talk trash and show off like other "flashy" point guards. This guy's the fastest man I ever saw

Best PG in the league : fast, can play defense and the main role of a point guard, pass the ball very well.
Lukiowel he's averaging prime CP3 stats, but while CP3 was like in the 2nd place for MVP, people don't even recognize how good the Wallstar is
I still agree with this. Who knows what he will be after these horrible injury filled years, but from 2014/15 to 2016/17 Wall was in a legit debate for the best point guard in the nba. His stats and just the plays he made all across the game are one reason, but the fact that based on ESPN’s study of all 5 time all stars to win a playoff series ever, Wall is tied with AD for having the least help out of everyone. Oh and wall made at least game 6 of the second round 3 times, AD never has. I don’t bother defending wall now becuse of he injuries no one will ever listen or respect what I say, but I always used to say it drove me crazy that stars who were considered to be better than wall achieved less with more help and got more credit for don’t less and got held to a lower standard.

You cant say curry doesnt play D. Hes not a bad defender he moves his feet well and can stay in front of his man. Also plays the passing lanes very well. I wouldnt say hes an elite defender but hes not a bad defender.
bay area 408 you cant be serious. when they play any elite guards Curry doesnt even guard them mosr the game. They had him following Otto Porter around when they played. he gets beat by any guard with speed.. i could go on but in a nutshell Curry is not a good defender. he is an below average dedender
only mistake is you leaving kemba out of the dribbling guards, hes got nasty handles

Glad videos like this still exist so that the haters can be pointed in this direction when they try to argue that wall has never been good and never deserved his contract, even before the severe injuries took place. Also I’m thankful for a video on RUclips about walls supermax deal from the wiz. While anyone must admit that until wall returns from rehab and proves he is still the same player, his contract is the worst, but people get it twisted an try to say that the injuries have nothing to do with walls contract being the worse in the league and that he never deserved it in the first place. Well, thanks to that video, I can point the haters to PROOf of what I always contend and argue: that when the wizards offered Wall the supermax after his 2016/17 historic, top 6/7 MVP finish and ALL-NBA season, not only did no one, including the media, infer that the wizards were making a huge mistake offering Wall the max, but in fact the truth is that the media was debating “is it true that Wall might turn down the wizards offer? Should be really take it? Should he commit to a team that might not be able to surround him with enough competence to make the most of his amazing ability??” Lol. Wall even waited a couple weeks after the offer was made, and he was vindicated in doing that, because he along with many others around the league didn’t know if it was a good idea for him to commit the wizards long term. No one said anything about him not being worth it. Actually, it was an example of why the supermax was created: to give players on bad or lesser teams in the league more of a reason to stick around and try to bring prosperity to the teams that drafted them. Once Wall signed the overall narrative was that it was a HUGE win for the wizards. Some said wall woudl have been better off going into free agency as he would clearly get max offers left and right from teams possibly better situated to help him have more winning success, but overall it was said that it was a win for the wiz and a win for wall, seeing that he was able to get more money from the wiz than anyone else could have offered, not to mention the wiz were coming off their best season in 40 years and SO close to the eastern conference finals so it did seem that maybe the wiz were going to be able to surrounded wall with enough talent to reach the finals. Clearly in hindsight, due to continued terrible management and horrible Injury luck as well as an aging roster, the wizards haven’t been able to get back within a game of the ECF, but you can’t judge all contracts legitimacy at the time of signing them based on how things play out 2/3 years later. At the time of this deal, everyone knew wall deserved it and the wiz were lucky to lock him in

John Wall is the best point guard this year. He get his teammates involve before scoring. I believe if jack up as much shots as Westbrook, he can easily average 30. Also If John Wall focus on grabbing cheap defensive rebound instead of pushing the pace at near half court he'll easily average triple double.

I'd take Wall over Westbrook. He's one of the few players that can dictate pace during the game. He doesn't just have one speed, he can play fast and he can play in the half-court. He knows when to turn on his turbo jets, and he knows when to slow it down. And he can finish with both his right hand and left hand.
