      @@madundderleutnant Tja also nicht mehr als bei euch oder in USA, es fängt langsam an. Mit dem Experimental Flieger geht's noch richtig schlecht und langsam, aber mit ultraleichte Titan Tornado oder solche und größere Flugzeuge wie der Cessna 172 , 150 wird es richtig übel. Wir haben hier in Mexiko unserer eigenen Firmen die kleine Flugzeuge herstellen. Tarragon solte mal unser Markt Mal probieren. Vier haben in Querétaro Stadt eine schöne Expo. Die Famex , hoffentlich können wir mehrere Hersteller treffen.

    402 kmh with 160HP turbo Rotax isn´t so good with inline configuration, when Czech VL3 with standard 915 (much less HP) flies 390 with side by side configuration. I´m waiting for Risen speed record with 915, I think it will be end for any other records from other airplanes, because speed by design, not by modified engine :D

    • @madundderleutnant
      @madundderleutnant  4 года назад +5

      show me the proof, where VL3 makes 390 with 912..! hard to believe - although VL3 is a great airplane..
      the reason why I fly Tarragon instead VL3: I'm quite tall 1,97m fitting operfect into the Tarragon. Also the Tarragon has the Vne red dot at 370 indicated airspeed - very good - and handles like a jet trainer (I flew Aero L-29)
      big big fun with Tarragon, good in aerobatics!

    • @Dzordzikk
      @Dzordzikk 4 года назад +2

      @@madundderleutnant Sorry, but you must read what I wrote and this was "Czech VL3 with standard 915 (much less HP) flies 390 with side by side configuration". Why you talk about VL3 with 912??? VL3 with standard Rotax 915 (which has only 142HP instead of your 160hp engine) flies 380 km/h of indicated airspeed in level flight on maximal power and this is side by side aircraft, not inline. Climb rate to FL180 is under 13 mins and if start on concrete RWY in 5 seconds from start! Yes, you are very tall, so must select aircraft by that. Btw, every UL aircraft have permited aerobatics, you know? And why you fly over 400 when Tarragon have VNE 370? Hmm? Fly safe ...

    • @madundderleutnant
      @madundderleutnant  4 года назад +4

      @@Dzordzikk hello Dzordzikk! sorry, my fault, yes, you are right! i did not read precise and mixed rotax 912 and 915!
      my engine on the 402speed had only 150hp as it was not pushed to full power, was still within the experimental stage, cause the motor was brandnew, so you won't push it to the limit!
      but hey! this speed was TAS (true airspeed) told by the Garmin x3 instrument - indicated airspeed only 350 at 12.000ft
      so i can push the Tarragon at least 20km/h faster at this altitude with moire power than 150hp
      but why?
      I'm very happy with the aircraft (not with the edge motor by thy way) and i will change engine soon..
      Aerobatics.. depends: i used to fly a FULLY AEROBATIC (incl. negative Gs) Fk12 Comet with UL Power motor 350is converted..
      that was UL but you can register it in another class if you want.
      you might know my group THE SKYMONKEYYYs - I'm the founder and 'The Lieutenant' of the Skymonkeyyys.
      you will find plenty of videos with acrobatics and stuff - also with Tarragon..
      This aircraft is proof 17g /static) so it is very save! I flew in Riga with the construction test pilot anything in positive G loads up to 6Gs but with 650kg Mtow! you can find on youtube!
      best, Pete
      ps: no reason to argue agressive my friend! i trust VL3 is a great plane, one of my Skymonkeyyys comrades just bought one with the 915 engine!
      be blessed!

    • @Dzordzikk
      @Dzordzikk 4 года назад +3

      @@madundderleutnant Hi Pete. I´m not agresive, I only don´t like to show on youtube etc videos with flying aerobatics and over VNE on any aircraft, because you say it is safe, but it is prohibited by manufacturer and by laws in Europe. And then other pilots can thinkt it is safe too but they don´t know where is limit and than it can end by disaster, like on many cases. This is I told you fly safe and don´t push air aircraft/engine too much to the limit. It can be dangerous. Btw: what is bad with your engine?

    • @madundderleutnant
      @madundderleutnant  4 года назад +3

      @@Dzordzikk hi Dzordzikk! i understand your point! i never fly airplanes beyond their limits. this would be very stupid. as i said: 402 was TAS, not indicated, there was still 20kmh buffer!
      also i learned my aerobatoc skills in UAS air school in phoenix/AZ, and in some european countries you can fly arco - as long as the manufacturer of the aircraft or the local(country) laws allow..
      but yes, of couse we must be good example and not encourage uneducated pilots to do stupid things!
