    Wow, 200 subscribers you said you had in this video and I'm watching this today and you have 517 thousand. I love these videos and can't wait to camp again but right now, with this perishingly cold weather, it's hard to imagine it ever being warm enough.

    Andy, Outlaw Bushcraft was such a kind gentlemen. He certainly does beautiful and talented work with leather and bones. I was in stitches when I saw the parachute and the campsite. I don't know what a gathering of people at campsites in London are called. But in the USA. If I saw a parachute that size at a campsite. I would say those people are getting ready for a Ho~Down. Its a country phrase for a lot of beer and a lot of rowdy people. Well, you learn something new everyday. Sharing different areas and people was cool. Great Job Florida Girl USA

Tropical fruit drink...... what ever happened to the good old 'orange powder' ??!!........affectionately known as 'Screech powder'- on account of the noise made by the average human upon ingesting some🤣😝😂❗️❗️.... also known as 'Old foot-stomping, one-eye'!!!!--😝😜😝😜😜😜😜❗️❗️❗️ One thing that was worth trading ration contents for was the tinned, mixed fruit pudding ( you had to open it the or steep it in Drambuie or Pusser's Navy Rum to get the best out of it-----hip flask time 😁😍). Andy, I know this video was 2017 but I was intrigued by your self lighting fire starters. Having just read a book on how wood burns (yes an entire book) I hope you don't mind me making a couple of comments. In your DIY firepuck video you had no sides on the starters allowing the air to get straight in from the side and draw air to the burning surface. Second wood needs to be above 300degC before it ignites hence the sparklers were an inspired choice as they burn upwards of 1000degC. Keep up the fantastic work and I hope you don;t mnd my comments.

      Hi, Thank you.. I used up that box of fire dragon and will not be buying any more haha. The bottle here and in a couple of other videos is just a 1 litre stainless steel one from ali express, no warping or anything, does the job just fine I think.. I know ASDA have been selling off some similar lately in their end of summer sales.. they were under a pound I think.

      @jonfisher9214 5 лет назад +3

      @@BushmanAOD that's right except it grows on the shady side of the tree where it's out of the sun and stays damp. It's useful for navigation as the side of the tree with the least lichen is always the South side.

    Far less fuel would have been expended by simply placing the stove behind a windbreak. Placing the stove in the interior of the campfire ring with the surrounding rocks rearranged so as to be much higher on the windward side, placing the stove on the leeward side of the tent, or simply sitting in front of the stove on the windward side would help quite a bit. We all know about the so called "wind chill factor". This is a perfect example of the wind chill factor at work. I'll bet it would have required only half of the fuel it used if a decent windbreak had been employed. This bit of wisdom, and much more, has been earned through more than 50 years of "wild" camping, in all seasons, mostly in the woodlands of the northeastern United States of America. Despite my criticism, I very much enjoyed the video. Well done!
