Gümüldür is one of the rapidly developing regions of sea tourism with its nature that combines blue and green, blue flag beaches on a seven-kilometer coastline, and hotels suitable for every budget. Located 50 kilometers from Izmir city center and 35 kilometers from Adnan Menderes Airport, Gümüldür is among the holiday options for sea lovers due to its ease of transportation.
Gumuldur, which turns orange in October and November, has a reputation beyond the provincial borders for its satsuma type tangerines. Satsuma, which has an important place in the economy based mainly on agriculture and animal husbandry, is grown on 12 thousand decares of land today, and a large part of the production, which amounts to 40 thousand tons per year, is exported.
