- Makoto is our last opponent before we face the World Champion. He has an extremely good car which we will use to beat Savo. He basically has only one race since the other one is a simple timed race that's why he is not really a iconic character in the game and is forgotten soon.

Race 1 - [0:23]
An easy race since you have no opponents. The time is more than enough to beat it without much trouble.

Race 2 - [3:25]
This is a quite hard race similar to Kenichi's last but easier. It's a long road full of traffic with a rainy road. It's hard to avoid mistakes but don't worry since your opponents tend to crush a lot.
Try to keep the lead as much as possible. It's not hard to achieve it since your opponents due to probably massive speed and rainy weather can't properly control their car. There is a theory that when they drive away from you, there is no traffic in their way, so most likely they will simply disappear from the map and you will never reach them. When they are in front you and they crush you can never expect what vehicles will come towards you ruining your acceleration. For that reason make sure to start with SST take the lead and try to keep it.
Be careful with your nitrous usage. Since it's a rainy road full of traffic the extra speed will make it harder to control the car leading to a crush. Either use your nitrous on a safe area or when you crushed to get back on speed without losing much time.

Ive played this game so many times for so many years, over 15. Ive played so much that i even know most of the coded in traffic, where some trucks and cars will come from since they are exact on certain races. Nice to watch you play and relive the memories

Makoto has a serious last track difficulties that makes him memorable.
Thats why he's my favorite boss in tokyo alongside kenichi. They race are memorable.

When I up against Makoto and completed his time trial, I used the Saikou XS too since that car can hold its own against the Torque JX and the Saikou XS is lighter than the Torque JX too. Plus, the Saikou XS is a drift type of car as well.
I do feel bad for Makoto at the third cutscene after you beat him and win his car. Makoto is an underrated character that deserves more appreciation and his appearance looks nice and clean too.

If your a damn good of a driver and like dice, never took a lost then thats going to be a shame if your a type of character like my boi koto here.

Im playing her right now on slitscreen with my family and its my favourite 1 racing game of all time.
1:14, take the long way around the cargo area straight left around back will save a nos during the race. The race gives you plenty of time to do this race, i finish with more than a min left every time. 5:33 an easier shortcut is taking the next left instead of this first one. The road is flat and there is no catacomb to accurately weave thru that youll have to slow down for. 7:24, the glass on the right, take that, its a straight shot on that road to the next, you turn once you run out of legal street road, and from there its another straight shot to the next checkpoint and thru the mountain

Makoto's time trial perfectly summarises why I fucking hate Tokyo and those stupid jumps.
Makoto time trial are easy to complete.

This one doesn't seem a bad racing game at all, but I played mc3 first, so it looks like shit compared to it hahaha, and they made the Mazda rx7 and viper gtsr concept like shit, not justice at all for those bad ass cars
I checked MC3 on youtube and to be honest it looked really bad to my eyes. The interface looks so much worse.
@@tsiripas Oh yeah, i bet MC3 is not a bad game, but it's HUD is so bad
MC2 is more of a campaign racer, as it doesn't have a upgrading system like Underground or MC3
How
MC3 had less character and atmosphere to it, you can't even see the opponent racers plus the soundtrack is way inferior.
@@SHVRWK the soundtrack is great and also I disliked most of MC2's characters so I'm pleased they're gone.
Were you on howhardcanitbe0?? Your driving is sloppy and I'm pretty sure even on like setting 6 you'd lose easily
