A trick I like to use in this gane whenever I'm in 0g is to spin around and throw the slugcat tail in a direction, it can really help. I'd suggest you try it!

I like how with zero gravity green lizard becomes basically blue ones. Turns out they are very agile when their mass is nullified.
But they should still struggle to change direction.
