      666j1 I love their war reports, but their domestic coverage is complete garbage. I hope they focus more on war journalism, since very few others seem interested in doing it.

    For the first time, the YPG now finds itself in almost total control of Hasakah, with the regime squeezed into the central government district and IS cornered in the city's southern outskirts. VICE News secured exclusive access to YPG fighters as they cleared southern Hasakah of Islamic State militants.

    I've studied war and conflict almost all my life. War and killing is a horrible thing. It is rare for me to look at people who have died in war and not think 'what a waste' or 'this shouldn't happen to a human being' but when I see dead IS members I feel no emotion, no compassion at all. Their contempt for humanity has in my mind excluded them from from being categorised as human beings.

    • @Barmeester
      @Barmeester 8 лет назад +11

      RenovatioJuris That is something dangerous to say because it will invite to a good/evil story while the truth is more complicated. I despise and hate da'esh (IS) like everyone else, but don't forget that every human being has it's own backstory to his or her life. We don't know specifically who are the devils that murder innocent people and who are sheep that followed the rest. I hope you understand my nuance.

    • @Vamashara
      @Vamashara 8 лет назад +5

      RenovatioJuris I actually had the same exact thought when i watched this. Normally mutilatet corpses tend to get me a little uneasy but when it´s those fucking stone age fascists, i say do the worst you can to them.

    • @Renovatio2
      @Renovatio2 8 лет назад

      Barmeester Hi thanks for the comment I agree completely and appreciate your nuance. As I said its extremely rare for me to think this way and certainly wouldn't be my way of thinking regards loss of life in other Middle-East conflicts. My mind would usually reserve such classifications for the deaths of individuals such as Hitler or Stalin. I thinks its worthy of more introspective consideration to question my analysis. Cheers.

    • @miansalmanlive
      @miansalmanlive 8 лет назад

      RenovatioJuris that kinda of thinking is what IS has. Dont lose your humanity if that's the case than IS has already won.

      collin ohlinger They are communalist, inspired from the workings of murray bookchin. They have direct democracy, self-governance, and a mostly collectivized economy which is only being collectivized more. They are creating communism in the shell of the old society while fighting against an ideological opposite. Social democrats are reformist - in other words, twiddle de dum twiddle de do.

He too often starts to pretty much mumble, when you couple that with the regular loud noises from gun shots etc. I have to adjust my volume a lot much and that makes it hard to watch especially at night. It would be great if the dude starts speaking louder.

    I wish VICE would interview the Syrian Army - The reason the syrian army failed to secure some area's is because the NDF fighters had low moral , so the army sent Major General Issam Zahreddine and his 400 Republican guards men + reinforcements from the Ba'ath Brigades, Sootoro , the Gozarto Protection Forces and Hezbollah from northern Hasakah to make up for lost ground , but unfortunately ISIL had already dug in with tanks and IED's by the time these reinforcements got there.

    About a day ago, the Army will be sending 450 (3,550+ troops will be also be deployed) troops from Fort Hood to Kuwait to fight ISIS. If you think I'm making it up, here the article: thehill.com/policy/defense/250309-army-sending-450-soldiers-to-kuwait-in-isis-fight . Now the Kurdish won't be the only ones that are going to be successful in the front lines.

      Iran is Shia and Isis is Sunni. Iran already fights Isis helping the Iraq Shia from the south. So Iran and the U.S are on the same side
