Rebels were too fatigued, should have swapped more players out second half. Good effort but standards really need to lift in order to align with this elite level. Great game from Fijian Drua!
No. Men's competition is a different breed. Super rugby is 26 years old and the Drua Men have only just started, don't forget it's a tough competition and they've already registered their first win already!
@@keyboardemperor3540 Women's competition isn't as tough as the men's. Most o' these women are mothers, some go to work & spend only 3-4 hrs a day training for the game. On the other hand, men are full time rugby players. They are professional athletes, rugby is their job that's why it's tougher on the men's. On top of that most of these Men's super rugby teams have been pro athletes for more than 6yrs now while most of these Fijian Drua boys from the Islands had part time jobs while playing in local comps in Fiji. Putting them into the Drua system is new for them as most of them are being treated like pro athletes for the first time. So give it time
The Fijians look a decent side, the Rebels looked awful. Fiji's chances of making the knockout stages of the World Cup, in October, will really come down to how they cope with The Roses and Les Blues power and structure. Picking up one of the two 3rd place routes into the knock outs will come down to points difference and beating the Saffas. Whilst I'm confident they can beat the Saffas, the 2 Northern hemisphere heavies are going to be ruthless
