Congratulations on the new baby 🎉🎉 just a suggestion, when going to the hospital pack your bottle warmer. Apparently, warming up the milk is not a priority in the hospitals anymore. (It seems ) from my experience I wasn’t able to get enough milk after trying and my baby got room temperature milk, which gave him colic, so take a bottle warmer with you because they don’t provide one. FYI mek Shawn carry a bag wid room to pack up ALL di diapers baby brush etc. that in dat room. U paying for it from u hospital bill. Tek dem! 😂

Hi Roch! You are glowing beautifully lady!! A moveable bassinet with storage for diapers, creams, OR a stationary bassinet and hand helded diaper caddy. Must haves: wipe warmer, pacifiers, lots of diapers in size 1,2,3., wear-a-baby apparatus. You will need a feeding chair or high chair. A feeding is portable and you can take it when traveling or eating out. Later a bouncy, spinning device. You won't need a crib for a while. Our first baby did not sleep in a crib for several Months. I would love to see busi es content and baby content, if that is ok with you. PS: Amazon allows you 30 days to return items that may not work out.
Thanks so much for all your suggestions and recommendations. I think I had put one of those bassinets that can sit just beside or over the bed on the registry.. As for the crib, I was thinking the same thing that maybe we won’t need it in the beginning
The bag is perfect love it don’t take too much stuff sleepers and onesies are the best thing around the house take a nice outfit for the baby to wear home and blanket no diapers the hospital will provide that so happy for you and hubby 🙏❤️wishing you a safe delivery
Hi Roch, good to see you looking well and blooming. That bag looks big enough, and with the extra pieces to use just as you stated. Good luck my love. Hope Momylin is coming over to help you when baby comes.❤❤❤
The bag is perfect. The hospitals up here usually supply the babies with diapers while they are in the hospital, so you would not need to take too much with you. Verify that with your hospital. You are looking good girl!
Hi Roch, I’m a silent watcher. CONGRATULATIONS!!! since I have a 5 month old and things are fresh in my mind I want to jump on and answer some of questions or atleast try to. Being that this is my fourth baby I have been through a lot of bottles and it’s true the Dr browns are the best for preventing colic but boy it’s like a pain to wash them. It’s actually 6 pieces per bottle. Thankfully my baby decided to stop taking bottle and strictly breastfeeding now, that too comes with its con because now I have a freezer full of milk that I don’t know if she’ll take. Second the burp cloths you have are my favorite ones to use , great quality and they can be used for a lot so buy like 1-2 more packs I suggest getting some different colors as well as with the all white sometimes I find myself wondering if it’s the clean one or the one she just used 😅. 3. The breast pump, I currently own about 7 different ones including both that you showed. I had high hopes for my Elvis but it’s very finicky and ineffective ( I’m an overproducer so I don’t know if that’s why). In my opinion it’s not worth the money but I do I recommend the hospital grade Medela but you’ll have to just try different ones to get what your body responds to best. I also recommend a nipple sizer so you’ll know what size filanges will fit you for most effective milk extraction. 4. That bag is plenty big and will fit all you need because the hospital does provide a lot of the necessities ( it’s part of what you pay for lol) but I’ve brought a small suitcase before just for my peace of mind. So it’s up to you. 5. Yes, you’ll need a lot of diapers . Go on Google and look up “baby’s first year diaper size vs quantity chart” , it will give you a good idea of the amount of each size diapers to get( it’s pretty accurate ) 6. Relax and enjoy every minute, time really does fly . Any other question about the breast pump or breastfeeding let me know, I’ve managed to successfully breastfeed and pump for all 4 of my kids and as my husband would say I’m slightly obsessed with pumps 😂
Wowww thank you so much for sharing. PS. You u are no longer allowed to be a silent watcher, you should comment more often lol… i’m not looking forward to the 6 pieces for the Dr. Brown Bottle at all 😢.. will get more burp cloths and figure out the breast pump situation. Doesn’t sound fun at all. I also didn’t know nipple sizer existed so thanks for that. I’ll definitely look up the diaper quantities.. soo much to do, when I think I got it , I learn there’s so much more lol .. thanks a million though❤
@@Rochielin lol I will try to but I’m naturally a shy person. As you mentioned all the changes in your life I realized I’ve been here that long and haven’t said anything, it was time to fess up and try to be helpful. But Don’t stress about the bottles and pump. Health insurance covers one free or at minimum cost and most hospitals also offer rentals for really cheap so you can test out different ones. The nipple sizer is extremely important and I wish I’d known about it as a first time mom too. Most people just use the parts the pumps come with not realizing the size might not be the best fit for them. Also I want to mention it’s completely normal for milk to take a few days to come in ( I didn’t know that first time) , just keep putting your baby on to feed atleast every 2 hours. I practically let my last 3 nurse every hour so by the time I get out the hospital the milk is in. That’s also key to a great supply. Remember It will come, and don’t let them pressure you about formula (some places and healthcare providers will try to do that). Oh and 1 more thing I think is important , Amazon has a 1 year return window for most registry items so if you don’t need something right away don’t open it or if it doesn’t work out you can return and get something else baby needs. Reach out if you have any questions, I’m young but I have helped my family members raise their babies since I was a teen so I have a lot of experience. I think you’ll be a wonderful mommy 😊❤️🇯🇲
Make sure you have breast pads for yourself @Rochielin. You will definitely need those for those leaking breasts. The hospital most likely will provide what you need. If you plan on breastfeeding, let them know. You will need clothes and blanket to bring the baby home but most likely you can keep the clothes they dress her in. Bring sanitary pads for yourself, but you can also ask for some if needed. Can't wait to meet your little bundle. Wishing you a safe delivery and a healthy baby 🙏🏾🤗
Walmart and Target has a registry as well and it works similar to Amazon. When I was pretty I had all three. I also receive so many freebies from websites like Enfamil etc Target five out a freebie bag for expedited moms as well for now you create a registry.
The bag should be fine. It's not like in Jamaica they give u a list of items to bring to the hospital. In the US the hospital provide you with items for the baby.
I’ve been using the Dr. Browns bottles and they’re great for preventing ‘gas’ compared to all the others I’ve used. Cons are the teets are a bit harder and don’t have a natural shape so a breastfed baby may reject it + there are 6 pieces to wash for each bottle.
Hello Love your videos , here are some suggestions for more videos 1. What I eat in a day 2. Day in the life of a youtuber 3. How I started RUclips 4. My favourite recipes
Ensure to braid your hair for the hospital so you will always be ready for photos and videos that family members may take and plus it is just less work.
Hey Roch, I know as a new mom things can get a bit daunting and esp if you like to be as best prepared as you can be. My lessons I learnt hold off on the crib and see how you and your baby adjusts, esp because the baby is gonna be eating like every 2 hours in the beginning. Diapers I had put on my registry which thankfully not much persons bought because my baby grew like a weed in the first few months.(also applies to clothes) Each box we finished we had to size up almost every time for the first few months. If you plan on breastfeeding, be very determined because it can get painful. Your nipples can start to crack, even bleed. (Get nipple shields) i was in a lot of pain after leaving the hospital trying to breastfeed. I was advised to give my breast a 2 day break and unfortunately my baby rejected the breast after that. I sorta wish i pushed through but i know i was in pain. I had a plug in pump at first. Since I had no idea what i was doing, didn't know what to expect, i was literally pumping one breast at a time because it was hard to do both breast at the same time😂😂. But i eventually switched to the Elvie. What i will say about that is because i exclusively pumped, pumping seriously affected my mental but the freedom i got using this made it worthwhile for me. Be mindful of the nipple shields the correct size is detrimental. The cons to it, it has a sensor that should pick up when the pump is full. It doesn't always work for me, resulting in me soaking my nursing bra if I'm not paying attention. Also you can be mobile, as long as you don't bend 😅 as i say it has a sensor and also will leak through the front. But all in all i would give it a solid 8/10. I hope this helps
Make sure u do a patch test with the Cetaphil baby lotion on a small area on the baby before you use it all-over his body, because it rashed up my baby. It seems to be a bit harsh on babies skin
Cetaphil caused my grandsons skin to become very dry and he has some spots of eczema, which is getting better from organic natural herbal creams. I just want you to careful with that lotion. Peace and Light.

Make sure you burp the baby well after feeding to avoid spitting up and stomach discomfort. Keep a bottle of gripe water on hand.🥰
Gripe water is a great idea and a real necessity.
Thanks for the tip!

Can your mom come to help, that will be so good.
Please get hand mittens for the baby.
❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
Newborn diapers you only need one box size one you need a month worth boom you are in size 2. 12 diapers per day in the beginning.
You won't need to take diapers or blankets with you bcuz the hospital provides those for you to use while you're there.
Cetaphil caused my grandsons skin to become very dry and he has some spots of eczema, which is getting better from organic natural herbal creams. I just want you to careful with that lotion. Peace and Light.
Thanks for sharing love.
Slim
For the diapers at least 3 months and up
What do you mean?
Yeah I wouldn't bother with NB or size 1 as they grow out of them so quickly.
Wash baby clothes before use
Will do, thank you
You’re preggers!?!!??!😮
