    Sure thing.
Wow. Nicely done. Really like the (not black pipe anymore) structural support. Looks clean, sleek. What is the mesh thing on bottom box? Is that a heater vent? Might be nice to dry shoes but good that you can open it to prevent blocking it.

The English solution is ‘the side’. IYKYK! you can’t buy sides, they just become ‘the side’. Your keys are invariable on the side. A cooling cake is invariably “just popped on the side”. Notes for family members go there too.

Definitely a prototype woodworker as there's no other way to be. If I'm extremely lucky to build something right the first time I just think wow that makes a change, otherwise I'm more of a 2 or 3 time prototype before I get it right plus it stops me from getting annoyed with myself for doing something wrong again and again!!!. As alway's buddy 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.
P.s is the bottom shoe box partly covering a air vent for your heating system 🤔 if so your going to have to be careful especially in the winter month's as the heat might suddenly make your house smell from the sweaty shoes warming up with your heating making your room smell like sweaty feet 😉 😜.

Yeah sure, I'll prototype. I try to plan it first but I end up just starting and then seeing where it goes. Right now I'm kinda old-school, just screw any joints in, no dominos, pocket holes or anything else. It's a lot of work, yeah so I like watching your videos to see what would work best for me. I'm liking the dominos :)

Prototyping? Most of the time my final product is the prototype 😂
Using 3D modelling softwareike Fusion360 definitely helps, but most of the time I also don't have the time or resources to prototype and test if a concept would work.
Anyway, I liked how this project turned out. Honestly, I didn't think I would like it from the thumbnail; however, this is actually a pretty nifty idea when I saw it in action. Well done!

Thanks for your great content and wonderful ideas!
I personally love drawing my projects in 2D and then model them, (former 3D designer) and then building them from end to end, I just have more satisfaction when it is something that I have completely designed & built.
For instance, I am working on a personal project where I broke down pallets, I am planing them, thicknessing them, glueing them up once doweled to create my furniture.
The most important is to do as you are more comfortable, and have fun while doing it
Have fun in the shop everyone!

    Experimenting and prototyping…. It depends.
When dry fitting with dominos, try not putting them all in. Just the ends or outside ones. Less stress. And if your layout is accurate the middle ones all slide right in. Just a thought.
