Imagine a clone army of Obi Wans jumping down from the sky in the Geonosian arena and hearing "Hello there" thousands of times a second.
Someone needs to make a mod of that
If Obi Wan haven’t found the clone army: If only my friends, if only.
I imagine clones of Greviouses responding with "General Kenobis"
Beautiful
Its beautiful, isn't it?
What if Obi Wan didn't dissapoint Count Dooku on their duel on Geonosis?
“Master Kenobi, you satisfy me”
This was a very interesting scenario. And actually makes Palpatine look smarter in canon considering he turned a potentially massive liability, the discovery of all these secret armies, into an opportunity to accelerate the timetable of his grand galactic conspiracy. Because this Cold War scenario sounds like it would have taken another 5 or 10 years to get the Clone Wars going even if it would have made the conflict more destructive than it was in canon.
The clones would just chill and watch pod racing
Sensible Clone Commander: "Hm... we're severely outnumbered and the enemy is not attacking. This is very strange..."
Psychic Super Soldier: "FRONTAL ASSAAAAAAULT!!"
Disobedient ARC and Null troopers: We've got to stop you right there sir
200,000 *units* were probably way more than 200,000 soldiers. We're talking about an army for a galactic republic with hundreds of thousands of star systems. You also see clearly in the battles on AOTC the clones were evenly matched with the droids in numbers, with even better tech, plus the jedi, hence why they evacuated, and the bug warriors went into hiding.
*Psychotic Jedi: “FRONTAL ASSAAAAAULT!!”
@@aarontoles5988 This right here. A Unit in military terms is a company of Soldiers.. typically numbering between 50-250 soldiers depending on the Companies purpose within the military.

Actually Obi-Wan discovering the Clone Army was entirely intentional. Why do you think Jango Fett killed an assassin sent to hunt down Senator Amidala with a KAMINOAN dart specifically? The whole point was to get the Jedi interested in Kamino. That's also why Jango IMMEDIATELY heads for Geonosis, leading Obi-Wan there too.

If Obi Wan never knew about the clone army, would that mean he also wouldn't have found out about Geonosis?
Unless the jedi stumbled upon the Geonosis factories through a completely unrelated incident, yes, it would have just been a covert meeting between CIS members pulled off without a hitch.
Well Dooku seemed suprised when the army showed up. If it was honest then a lot of jedi would have died including main characters
You mean, after he carefully delayed the execution and drew it out as long as possible to give the clone army time to get there? Yeah...surprised... Come on, listen to his delivery during the battle when he's told that the Jedi have an army, and he says "That doesn't seem possible." The guy's faking. He wasn't surprised by any of this.
Not to mention to go with Werrf1, at the end of the movie Doku told his master Palpatine the plan was a success, and the war has begun.
@@raw6668 Exactly. It's absolutely clear that the whole thing was carefully planned to achieve exactly this outcome.
Also, had Dooku not known about the plan, then he wouldn’t’ve enacted a battle strategy that seemed rather carefully planned to minimize the Separatist’s chances of success.
No, he was play-acting. He knew the clones were coming, but he had to act surprised for the sake of the Trade Federation leaders and the other corporate stooges.
What would the clones even do if they never got deployed? Do they just sit in Kamino playing Holo chess or something
Yeah, just like the simulations.
I think they are in the simulations
They leave Kamino and go sell their services to random warlords for money.
For an army that was canonically smaller than the entire American Armed Forces that fought millions of droids across the galaxy for four long years, and won, the Grand Army Of The Republic has my respect.
Sidious planned for the CIS to lose all along. What we really don’t see is what was most likely happening behind the scenes in the CIS high command: Sidious, through his proxy Dooku, carefully acted to minimize the CIS’s chances of success without Separatist leadership realizing that is happening.
@@Engine33Truck I always believed that Palpatine/Sidious was simply planning to be the leader of whatever side won the war. And honestly, I believe that if Anakin lost to count Dooku (on their mission to “rescue” Palpatine), then Palpatine might have decided to just side with the separatists and let them win.
Start a war, wear both sides down, take over whatever side wins, cut your losses on the losing side ASAP. He wanted the war to last long enough to accumulate power.
@Ruosong Gao It's possible that Palpatine could probably still call for Order 66 to be executed right before the Republic falls. I'm sure he had an "operation Cinder"-type plan in place the CIS won.
As for "sending a strike force", well, the Jedi still didn't figure out who the Sith was, until Anakin said something.
@Ruosong Gao "If Palpatine is no longer in charge, someone else would be elected."
I always assumed that the war ending in just the CIS & Republic going their separate ways was probably not an option for Palpatine. Personally, my theory holds that Palpatine did intend for one side to completely crumble, but was certainly ready to take over and be the leader of whichever side won.
"executing Order 66 prematurely..."
I agree that whatever side he wishes to take over...Order 66 would also have to happen. And I agree he would have to do it while many Jedi are out in battle WITH Clone troopers and when it's at its weakest.
But I don't see why he couldn't do that "on his way out" to be the ruler of the CIS, should the Republic be on the verge of a complete crumble (both militarily and politically). Granted, I concede it would be **easier** for Palpatine to consolidate the already **legitimate** power he has, and take over a government + bureaucracy that's already there. So, I'm sure Palpatine was rational enough to **prefer** that option.
In both canon and legends, the CIS put up one helluva fight and nearly won against the Republic. I don't think he had TOO MUCH control over what the Jedi and Clone-military did (Separatists is a different story). But yes, he played both sides to a great degree. The Jedi were really important to many battle victories in ways that I'm sure even Palpatine couldn't predict. But he was still achieving his goal: consolidating power and killing Jedi. The more he consolidates, the less likely the Republic government could stand at its weakest moment when he says "smell ya later" (after he executes Order 66).
I doubt that keeping the CIS in line would be too difficult for Palpatine. His BIGGEST worry would probably be his apprentice Dooku, more than anything else. And I'm sure one of Dooku's main tasks as Palpatine's apprentice would be "Keep the CIS in line...or I'll execute you". So that's TWO Powerful Sith Lords right there...EACH with an incentive to keep the systems in line.
Palpatine still had a freaking REBELLION to deal with. A very well-armed one, and it lasted about 23 years. But I'm not sure if that well-armed rebellion could have formed should the Republic have crumbled.
@Ruosong Gao He wouldn't be claiming it as Palpatine as he already is known to some degree in the higher levels of the CIS conspirators. True he played them and they'd need to be dealt with the same as the jedi. But as we only get one episode showing the CIS as a rational breakaway government. It's conceivable he has enough ties to becomes shadow chancellor.
Even if he didn't, there could be an order sending the clones on a "fuck every thing but mostly the jedi" mode. Order 66 hardly got them all and we seem to see new survivors all the time these days, some jedi even die or escape multiple times. The presence of the Empire kept them in hiding. Turning the clones into an independent roving band of jangos would fit the earliest conception of the clone wars too. Likewise the jedi would be scattered and weak. Palpy could easily take over that and rule a chaotic and broken galaxy.
The numbers of the clones given a longer time frame would be vastly higher than they were at order 66. They were phased out as they could never have the numbers it would take to fill a galactic role. Most of the war was fought by non-clone personnel, the focus of the plan was the jedi and they got paired with the clones. The jedi were hardly big enough to lead such a force on such a scale any way. Other comments put best estimates of combat ready clones at the first battle of geonosis at around 32 million. That's 200,000 units of various types and that may not be limited to ground units as we see clones crewing ships unique to clone forces. What's more is there are 1 million more units on the way so it took around 9 years to get 16% done with the army. Even with the accelerated production during the war that's still only 4 more years of battle ready clones.
Though the dart leading obiwan to kamino and geonosis are too stupid to be a mistake from jango. It may not have escalated too badly if Yoda didn't thrust this army into the public light the second Darth Jarjar motioned for emergency war powers. That sort of move only makes sense if he thought the sith was inside the republic. Palpy didn't take the bait however, so Yoda must have been like oh shit we gotta win this war like really fast now. It was a calculated move by palpy.
Since he killed his master the night of the emergency powers vote, the eventual order 66 timeline is his plan. His master probably had a deeper long game planned involving a more shattered galaxy, with 1.2 million units of clones.
Most of the Jedi strike force wouldn't have been killed in the arena. But I do think Dooku would have ordered the Droid army to attack many planets as the opening of the war. Part of the plan was to make the Republic fear and hate the Separatist and a major attack like that would force many senators to turn they back and Padme.
Ok what if Ahsoka after order 66 went straight to Vader in wild space before Plaptine had years to make Vader recent Anakin (she'd go right to him cause "search your feelings fine him, you will")
Ahsoka thought Anakin was dead and nobody really even knew Vader existed, he was kept quite mysterious and unknown by Palpatine.

Imagine during the Clone War, The leader of the majority and the leader of the Opposition in the Republic were both from Naboo, a very small unimportant planet that somehow influenced the netire galactic political debate.
Sounds like Kentucky.
Naboo became politically prominent after the incident in 32 BBY. Although the lore around this has been hyped up as much as possible to make it sound more plausible, and I'd agree it is far-fetched, the real 'currency' Naboo had in the galactic arena in the Senate, was that they were seen as philosophically and culturally astute and noble for what their ideals had led to in the Battle of Naboo. Everyone could see the corruption in the Senate, and a lot were involved. But Padme Amidala and her defiance against the Trade Federation, was seen with genuine sympathy around the galaxy.
Although not some financial titan or resource giant with a staggering population, Naboo was beloved across the Republic as an idyll of the Old Republic, and a place where the true values of the Republic were being properly espoused as well as articulately defended - in this era, by both Senator Palpatine and Padme Amidala. Though her career post-Royal status (in Naboo's peculiar system of rule) was mostly when she was really renowned for her political speeches and stances against corruption, it is fair to say her inspirational role when the Queen of Naboo, was seen with immense respect across the galaxy.
Naboo can be considered an exemplary lightning rod for all the problems the Republic was facing, and few could criticise Naboo for standing up for itself and trying to shrug off the blatantly unfair trade policies of the Trade Federation. It was seen as a little guy, standing up to a bully, which it was. Therefore Naboo gained more public recognition across the Republic - and Palpatine capitalised on the wave of dissatisfaction and lack of confidence (which he'd slyly been causing anyway, as a Sith Lord worsening the corruption in the Senate behind the scenes) in Supreme Chancellor Finnis Valorum. More than that, he capitalised on the immense fame Naboo had at that time, with Palpatine seen as a great candidate for the office of Supreme Chancellor, riding the crest of the wave (as he knew he would) to victory.
By reputation and kudos across the galaxy, Naboo was vastly disproportionately influential, this is true - though it was seen as a champion of liberties and democracy, where the Republic shone brightest. If Alderaan was representative of the historic soul of Republic, Naboo was it's conscience. A lot of this can be thanked on both Palpatine and Amidala being giant figures at the time, catapulted to fame by the Naboo Crisis of 32 BBY and the Battle of Naboo which ended it.
Here was a Senator who got things done and could lead the Republic; and here was a Queen who'd defend her homeworld just as well as a Senator, if not even better, than when she was a Queen. This is the most charitable interpretation, I grant you, though in fairness it does make sense. Look at real world history. Small factions can make remarkable impressions on the wider world, with the measure of their words and their actions. I guess we could read too much into what was probably lazy writing by George Lucas, though I'd like to point out that even accidentally, it would still make sense for Naboo to win over massive respect.
The galaxy is in a dire state of affairs in spite of seeming peaceful, in Episode I - it's a powder keg waiting to go off. Stagnation and corruption has addled the dying Republic for centuries and what is left of it's former glory is on the life support of pandering to mega-corporations and getting bogged down the moment they cry wolf over anyone standing up to them. The Senate is nearly powerless to protect the Outer Rim worlds, within or without of Republic space, and the ~10,000 or so Jedi in the galaxy are hideously overworked. Naboo, arguably, could be regarded as the summarisation of literally thousands of system's own concerns and misery.
Therefore, sitting on the sidelines and watching how vocal Queen Amidala was - fearless of assassins, too - just had to win lots of genuine sympathy and respect. Indeed, a lot of the voting support for Palpatine was generated on the sympathy vote (they literally discuss this being in his favour) Naboo, in other words, is a lightning rod as I said - it captured the zeitgeist of the time and showed the galaxy that small, seemingly insignificant Mid-Rim worlds, could thrown off the yolk of the oppression of the mega-corps, and win it's own voice. It became as respected as Alderaan, Chandrilla or Corellia, overnight.
P. S - Ironically, Palpatine despised everything Padme stood for, and must have hated her, though even he had to have some peculiar respect for her and her powerful status in the Senate, on behalf of his own homeworld, a homeworld she shared too. This is wishful thinking considering how evil Palpatine is, though I'd like to think that somewhere in there, he had to know she was doing very well for Nabooans. However, that was part of the funny problem with Padme - she was _too good_ at her job. To the point it made a lot of annoying problems for Palpatine to have to find ways of working around.
The very first time we see how she started to piss him off was when she just upped sticks from Coruscant and went back to Naboo, which he absolutely did not expect (his own disregard for human suffering, and underestimation of her compassion for her own people, at such a young and relatively unwise age, surprised him outright; he wasn't just acting surprised when she did that it did literally catch him off-guard there) As smart as he really was, her habitually relentless humanitarianism and idealism, constantly forced him to work around her in the Senate, even (or especially) when he was the Supreme Chancellor.
On the one hand she was a constant pain in the backside because she'd just turn up and get in the way of some bill he wanted to push through, but on the other hand, _her very confidence in him made him even more dangerous_ which was a grim irony playing out every day they were colleagues. Part of him probably wanted to throw her clean out of the nearest window with a blast of force lightning, but part of him must have been impressed that she was such a useful 'friend' - as in, she was unwittingly helping Palpatine's own image by being his political ally.
A unwitting ally, who constantly threw idealistic spanners in the carefully laid plans he'd made, but ultimately added weight behind his, 'Grandfather of the Republic', 'butter wouldn't melt' persona. In her innocence and starry-eyed idealism, she'd never realised she was essentially aiding and abetting the devil in disguise.
When Padme realised what a tyrant he was - though even then still not fully understanding _just how evil_ he was - it was far, far too late.

Lmao fucking wrecked.
Would be pretty unfair for Ashoka, since she's not a Mary Sue and actually a good character with something like weaknesses
On skills and experience, Ahsoka wins easily. On raw power Rey _Palpatine_ (I don't care what Rey 'Skywalker' says, like it or not she is Creamy Sheev Palpatine's granddaughter) can learn to overpower Ahsoka. Unfortunately for M'Rey Ahsoka would know that already and end the fight before it got out of hand. It's Ahsoka's to lose, not Rey's.
Ashoka whoops that ass. Even the padawan version of Ashoka beats Rey without the Mary Sue powers Rey gets through the entire sequel series, as for Rebels Ashoka she could honestly just flick her wrist and Rey would be done.
@@skorpion3993 the thing is, her Mary Sue powers are Canon.
Its just a dumb and unfair comparison. It would be much more fair to compare her with Episode III Anakin. Which would be evenly matched although I nearly threw up typing this because it's just not right to say that.

So really, if it weren’t for the cook, none of that would have happened. My Dad always said, “always respect the janitors (in this case, diner cook). They know everything.”
This Clones Wars suddenly makes a lot of sense because the Jedi should not have know about the Clones Army and many of those disastrous battles like those two that happened at Geonosis should be avoided. Even if they are still going to happen, the Republic might come up with a new strategy and do something stupid like the both First and the Second Battles of Geonosis.
This is just scratching the surface of what it would be like had Obi-Wan not discovered the clone army.
But further, there are major potholes:
-Plagius paid for the clone army before his death, before they even had a template? Before Dooku was Palpatine’s apprentice? Because Dooku was the one who found/paid Fett to be the template.
-How was the whole Jedi Order not confused af about the template for the clone army being on the side of the CIS? Did that not raise some concerns/eyebrows?
-The backstory between episodes 1 and 2 are appreciated, but are also a teaser. What else has happened between the 2 movies to push forward the Sith Grand Plan and what else has called instability in the galaxy?
So many questions to answer...but awesome video nonetheless!
Personally I think it would be cooler if there were no clones in the army and the republic had to re-build its military with conscription and things of the like, it would be interesting to see the political effects and societal changes brought upon by that because of the 1000 year peace period before.
The plot to kill Padme was a ploy to alert the Jedi to the clone army by Sidious.
I honestly always thought part of Sidious' plan was to get the Clone Army caught last minute. Otherwise it would take too long to start the Clone Wars. Isn't always going according to his plan lol.
The cold war theory is a very possible scenario and it still would have worked in palpatines favor but he would have had to start the war before his term was up
Very interesting how there are many parallels between Star Wars and our current time. Example, is a prolonged Cold War that was orchestrated by the Sith to take power from the Republic. This is similar to the US and China conflict in the South Seas. Both sides using the conflict to grab power while using the opposition as a distraction. Mean while the region becomes more unstable and the needs of the many are silenced. Just like the Outer Rim in the Star Wars Galaxy.
@@hackman669 holy shit, I never thought about it that was. Southeast Asia/the South Pacific is the current “Outer Rim” of earth. Australia is the Tattooine of that equation 😂😂. A couple of decades ago, it was the Middle East. A hundred plus years ago, it was Africa.
I’ve been looking forward to this for a long, long time
But wouldn't Palpatine WANT the Clone Army discovered? Like, at the perfect time as well?
After all, hadn't he planned for the clone army to be used against the Jedi after the Separatist had been utterly destroyed?
This is the ONE part of this theory I do not get.
How would the clone army be discovered? I mean... If not for Obi-Wan and his friend Dexter, then by who?
Everything that occurred in Episode 2 went SO according to plan it feels like... That Palpatine must've known Obi-Wan had a friend who could analyse Jango's Kaminoan saber dart, and get the co-ordinates for where Kamino should be. And THEN Palpatine must've known that Obi-Wan would end up following Jango Fett to Geonosis, so he would discover the Separatist threat that was lurking in the shadows. Which in turn would make the creation of an army for the Republic a possibility. All because Palpatine must've known that Padmé and Anakin would be off-world, so that Padmé's voice in the Senate wouldn't be heard, and the Military creation act would pass.
There is SUCH an amount of stuff Palpatine MUST have known in order for everything to go according to his plan.
Like, if Obi-Wan's friend, Dexter, DIDN'T know about the Kaminoans. Then, how would Palpatine introduce the clone army? Without the knowledge of the Separatist threat too...
Like, what purpose would the clone army have had ORIGINALLY speaking?
What was they made for, if not to fight the droid army? Lama Su even states that "You'll find them immensely superior to droids." As them being breed in order to fight the droid army.
How was Palpatine planning for the clone army to be introduced? And how was he planning for the Separatist Threat to take place? And how was he planning for Padmé to be ABSENT from the senate during the decision to go trough with the Military creation act?
Was Padmé's assassination attempts an attempt to silence her opposition voice for the Military creation act?
If Padmé was successfully assassinated, how could Palpatine use her to push Anakin over to the dark side?
There are SUCH an amount of details that all would suggest that every minuscule coincidence that happens in Episode 2 was SOMEHOW planned by Palpatine all along. Yet the AMOUNT of planning, foresight and information that was required for it all to happen perfectly would be INSANE!
Who here noticed the word corpo at 3:23?

“How did Dooku learn of Palpatine’s true identity, when did it take place, and what was his reaction to it?”
Answers might already be out there but I’d imagine if I don’t know about it, then the average Star Wars fan won’t either.
If Obi-Wan never discovered Kamino, i think Darth Sidious would use both clone army and droids to destroy the Jedi at the same time
That would've completely defeated the purpose of the army.
no
I always thought that the clone troopers from kamino would have to go to the Republic eventually even without the Jedi knowing about it so at some point an entire army would just pop out of nowhere to corsot or whatever planet saffron Diaz and plagueis chose
The part about this giving the Jedi more time to think about their role is an argument against this scenario almost like Palpatine wanted to be discovered.
Another consequence of not discovering the Clone Army and allowing Dooku to build up the CIS is that Dooku may have actually had the grounds to split from Palpatine altogether much like Revan split from Vitiate in KOTOR (though we don't find this out until SWTOR) forming his own Sith Empire. Palpatine was relying heavily on his pawns to move as he instructed, and if Dooku split away, there is a chance that no matter how powerful Palpatine was as an individual Sith Lord that he may not have been able to consolidate power to challenge Dooku logistically. Dooku's empire would have probably looked more like the pre-Bane Brotherhood of Darkness with a weaker more pragmatic leader rather than one concentrated all-powerful Emperor/Sith Lord.
Thanks to Alan I know how to cook a ewok stake
WHAT IF: Anikan was left with Palpatine while Quigon and Obwon went to deal with the Naboo situation, if Palpatine had been able to train Anikan from birth what would have been achieved by the Sith?
What if Qui Gon accepted his invitation to the Jedi Council?
PS, your video description for your video on why he didn't join the council is misleading. Yoda did invite Qui Gon but was against his invitation. Yoda was overruled by the council.
My guess would be that Dooku would be more inclined to sit on the High Council (again) if Qui Gon was already there too. However, this alone may not convince him to stay. More likely he'd stick around a bit longer (maybe even just a few months to a year or so) and then leave anyway. Qui Gon's views on the Living Force would likely gain more traction if he was heard out and respected more. The dogmatic view of Yoda would slightly change - as it did later in TCW with his special lessons from the netherworld of the force - if Qui Gon was allowed to stick around.
Another aspect is that Obi Wan Kenobi, with Qui Gon being on the High Council, would be more likely to ascend to it a bit faster; not out of cronyism, simply the fact that his old Master was respected more being on the High Council, and that this would simply have a positive impact. It took until the Clone Wars for Obi Wan to sit on the High Council, when really already one of the most uniquely wise Jedi around (which even the rebellious young Anakin had to accept and point out when describing his Master, even back in AOTC Episode II)
Qui Gon's entire role in The Phantom Menace could be changed if he is sat on the High Council, though presumably he'd be sent on missions sometimes. The impression I get of Qui Gon and Obi Wan from the Episode I era, 32 BBY, is that they are roaming the galaxy as your typical Jedi Master and Padawan duo resolving disputes and working on behalf of the Republic, Jedi High Council and Senate. They'd be out and about in fieldwork roles a lot more than some of the other Jedi, such as those in the High Council (not saying they do nothing they very clearly get about a lot too, though especially in a relative peacetime context, pre-Clone Wars, then the task would be considered overkill perhaps for a Jedi Master on the High Council? Possibly.
Obi Wan himself pointed out that were it not for his Master's defiance against the High Council, then he'd already be sat on it. After all, we can see Qui Gon is a lot older than Obi Wan when Obi Wan became a member of the High Council, in TPM Episode I, yet he is seen as somewhat of a maverick whom believes in outlandish things and is unorthodox in some regards.
Yoda disliked Qui Gon's 'defiance', when really, we can see it was more or less Yoda's entrenched views refusing to tolerate a different form of thinking to his own in this rare regard. Nobody is perfect and his annoyance with Qui Gon having a difference of opinion, in this way, always stood out in my opinion.
Dooku himself distanced himself from the High Council, as he increasingly realised that they were being used as police enforcers by the corrupt Republic Senate, and that the corruption - and laziness, dull complacency and arrogance - was spreading to the Jedi Order in turn. They'd sat on a thousand years of relative peace post-Seventh Battle of Ruusan and Demilitarisation, and yet they'd also become indolent, weak and dependent on corporations and banking firms.
The Senate was a bureaucratic nightmare which took months or longer to get basic things to pass, and endless backstabbing and corruption was rampant. Dooku had seen how core worlds were grotesquely overly represented and that the Trade Federation itself had bought a Senatorial seat, such was it's sheer power and influence. Dooku saw the situation for what it was, and became a political firebrand and radical over it, slightly _before_ Palpatine got to him.
Tragically, Dooku's idealism was born out of genuinely reasonable intentions, and observations; though unknown to everyone else, the Dark Lord of the Sith had found him in this state of mind and won him over. The Outer Rim was comparatively lawless and fraught with dangers, in all radial directions.
When Dooku spoke of Qui Gon potentially agreeing and joining with him, to an imprisoned Obi Wan on Geonosis, there may have been a bit of truth in this - though more likely, the Jedi indoctrination would kick in and Qui Gon would never really go and join Dooku (though I can't 100% rule the idea out theoretically, which is interesting)
Maybe like 1/100 times Qui Qon would be like 'let's do this' and join the Separatists with Dooku - but if he did, he'd only become another pawn of Palpatine anyway, in the long run.
Qui Gon's instincts about Anakin were right in a round-and-abouts, hippy magic sort of way, but still; if Qui Gon as a High Council Master went to Naboo with Obi Wan, then Maul actually killing him would be a _very_ bold play by the Sith. As far as Maul was concerned, Qui Gon would have just been one of many Jedi Masters at the Temple - but I'm sure he'd be very happy to know he'd defeated a High Council Master (until Obi Wan avenged him at least)
P.S - I think the more interesting aspect to the question you ask, is if the timeline changes considerably if Qui Gon _is_ accepted. Would he go to Tatooine? Would he meet Anakin? etc I guess all this was decided by that good old, 'Will of the Force', so I think he'd kind of have to do that. He could have just gone just like in TPM Episode I as shown, with zero difference whatsoever, other than being a High Council Master. Maul would be very pleased with himself, even more than he was, if he knew he'd just taken down a High Council Master. Then again, not all of them were as powerful as they were wise.
Than it would not be a happy landing for the Republic
Hey its my question, love you guys
What would a cold war situation in star wars look like during the clone wars? Could ya do a what if video an scenario/theory video
Presumably the two main factions would settle into increasingly fortified Fortress Worlds and Purse Worlds, and defend their key populations and cultural worlds, and then bulk up their military might to ridiculous levels. Stockpiling of superweapons, expansions of naval fleets, massive defence projects lasting months or years building huge defence bastions and strongholds, army expansion, army training intensification and a general build up for the 'thaw' or when the Cold War goes hot. Technological developments would lead to several overlapping arms races and the Jedi would be even more overworked than usual trying to be everywhere at once to monitor the situation and keep some semblance of peace.
Arguably there'd be erosions to civil liberties and people who'd be living under fear of the all out slaughter of a superweapons exchange or a massive clash of the built up forces. Civilian life would be hindered by laws and restrictions, including full-scale martial law on some front-line fortress worlds where the danger would be ever-present. Trade lanes would be heavily defended and the flow of supplies to far-flung systems would be at serious risk, with trade convoys getting larger and larger as the trust got weaker and weaker. Separatist movements across the frontiers of the Republic would be very likely as the months wore on, under regulations to curtail the risk of incidents. Powerful defence blockades by large naval fleets, would be a common sight - with intense movement checks and bans on 'frivolous travel'. Fuel consumption would be carefully monitored.
By tightening their grip on potential causes of the war to 'go nuclear' (to continue the Cold War theme, figuratively not literally though), the Republic and Jedi would only risk further alienating these planets. Over time more nuanced policies could develop to culturally suite different planets, though there'd likely be a lot of room for serious civil disobedience e.g. from the Quarren on Mon Cala, extremely hostile to the Mon Calamari sharing the planet when riled up.
Ultimately, there'd be several thousand planets flooding into the arms of the Separatist Alliance, and the Republic would grow increasingly paranoid of a loss of status. As system after system fell to insurrectionism and separatism, the Republic would behave like a hegemon trying to assert and reassert itself in the Outer Rim, using it's influence to throw it's weight around and convince the Hutts to keep their hyperspace lanes accessible exclusively to Republic ships and no CIS equivalents. Meanwhile the Separatists would be trying to do the exact same thing. Indeed, the flashpoints of the war would likely be found in the broad Outer Rim Territories.
General Grievous and CIS commanders like him would be itching for a fight, and it could be impatience from him or Ventress, which causes an all out fight. The Republic would be outnumbered militarily 100 to 1, though hold it's own and push the Separatists back time and time again regardless, should it come to actual fighting.
The use of satellite buffer zones - such as Hutt Space - to fight in by backing tertiary factions, such as pirate groups, would be commonplace after the end of the first year if not during the first year, depending on how quickly things proceed. This would be like a pressure valve to let off some steam, as well as to test weapons and tactics. Militia groups emerge galaxy wide. The Jedi will take care in not escalating the crisis, though if fallen Jedi like Pong Krell get involved, then things could escalate quickly with the war brought about.
Some work arounds and tip-toeing around intergalactic laws in the Republic, would allow the Republic endure the long months of economic sanctions and trade disputes with the Separatists. Tariffs on import and export goods and commodities would escalate, and the banks would be straining under the twin concerns of wartime austerity measures and massive military spending to maintain the balance of power. Many secondary factions are roped in on both sides, and the Cold War scenario would see Dooku making passionately delivered firebrand politician's speeches to these people.
Eventually the sheer weight of Droid forces would then collapse on the Republic stronghold worlds like a strong tidal wave. Rationing would be needed across the Republic, as Separatist blockades became more common. Eventually the war would 'go hot' and simply be a far more immense scale version of the actual Clone Wars timeline.
P.S - Ultimately, the Sith would still be in control of the war, and force it to go hot at some point; perhaps with Palpatine looking for the first chance he got at letting the war play out. With much stronger bastions and fortress worlds, and larger reserves with better technology standards and special equipment, this version of the Clone Wars would be relatively horrific. Millions of Clones would prepare to fight billions, if not trillions, of Battle Droids.
Palpatine was crafty. He had Anakin's mum kidnapped, used his knowledge of travelling safely between systems, knowing Padme would use the main shuttle as a decoy, so she survived Ep. 2 first act and then he used used Anakin's bereavement to create a strong attachment with Padme. Dooku was arrogant, thinking he was number 2 and would soon take the mantle, yet, he was slain by Palpatine's true apprentice, Anakin. Anakin's strong moral and family values ultimately won out, bringing balance to the force.

Ive got the most important question, What if Anakin Skywalker didnt hate sand? What if he didnt mind it being all coarse, rough, irritating and getting everywhere? He might have been happy living on tattooine, he might have set up a business around technology, micro-processors with all that silica, he might have called it TSMC Tattooine Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Nvader Graphics, AMD Anakins Mirco Devices, IBM Intergalactic Business Machine corp, Humanware, NEC Naboo Electric company(with grants from Padme) or maybe just found Obi Wan
What if The Yuuzhan Vong had invaded during The Clone Wars?
That’s really silly. Jango Fett was obviously trying to let the Jedi track him back to the Clone Army. He just didn’t expect Obi Wan to track him back to Geonosis.
Palps didn't want to assassinate Padme, he made sure the assassination attempt failed so he could suggest having Obi-Wan and Anakin be her protection. He planned for Anakin to stay by Padme while Ob-Wan would track down the assassin finding the army. It's just that Palpatine didn't think Obi-Wan would track down Jango so quickly.
Simple. Palpatine will just pull it out of nowhere and say that he worked with a long-dead Jedi to prepare an army just in case the Seps got violent. He can use Sifo-Diyas' name to legitimize the project, and he would look good for thinking ten steps ahead when it comes to dealing with a crisis.
Perfect timing
Actually, to go with the Clone Army not being discovered, if the Republic had to use a regular army, would they even switch to a clone army if they had a larger and trained army that was cheaper to make with 20 times the size? For I feel Palpatine was going to have, the Jedi find the Clones early before the war started for I don't see his plan working for the Senate didn't want to recruit regular people to turn their constitutes against them for having them fight for the Republic, but once they had such an army, I can't see it working well trying to severally downsize the army to use only clones and a few officers.
This timeline is very interesting and no order 66 yet!
Do a video explaining blaster ammunition and how it works.
Question hopefully you can answer: How come the Jedi didn’t sense that Barris Offee turned to the dark side? I know they couldn’t sense Palpatine bc he used the force to conceal it from them but Barris wasn’t THAT powerful? Was it just their involvement in the war that distracted them?
Probably and the internal affairs of politics occupying them. But also you have to think, the Jedi were very closed minded and extremely traditional. So thinking one of their own turned, wouldn't make sense to them
I read somewhere that the droid army available to fight was around 300 million units or battle droids of various models
For a sec you sounded like silverhand preaching against "corpo" heads lol
"Senator Binks" 😅
But at what point Palpatine would have deployed Clones then?
Nice insight
Eventually they simply would have been delivered in a huge parcel on the temple's doorstep on Coruscant.
I don't have facebook but I hope this one catches your eye:
WHAT IF: While Sidious was influencing the midichlorians to create life it created another high count being like Anakin who remained hidden and discovered the conflict between the Sith and Jedi and decided to remain neutral until the clone wars happened? Maybe rather than a chosen one its a chosen two anticipating Anakin's (possible) fall to the dark side creating further unbalance. Maybe those force beings that taught Yoda came to this being instead and foretold of his/her role in the coming conflict that will disrupt not only the entire galaxy but the entire balance of the force its self?
*Obi Wan sees a lot of guys wearing white armor years after he originally would have discovered Kamino*
"Hello there"
*The armoured individuals raise their blasters, prompting Obi Wan to raise his lightsaber into position and ignite it*
*Obi wan hears a voice say "Execute Order 66" Prompting the armoured individuals to open fire*
*Obi Wan sensing the change, uses the force and gets out of there as the blaster fire passes through where his chest was moments ago*
Can u do a video on the asoka troopers and captain vaughn
Next: What happens if Anikan lost the pod race?
Ooooo very intriguing
One other thing is that, if the Battle of Geonosis never happened, there would be a whole bunch more Commandos around.
This is an interesting version of the clone wars.
How would the war have turned out if the droids were not programed by Jar Jar Binks writer.....
The next puzzle, would be, who, and/or when would the clone army be found...accident or not?
I like this cinario so far. Let's see what you do with the obvious next step.
Hello There!
It’d have made more sense as to why the Republic didn’t get curb stomped. Ironically, it might have made the Jedi better prepared for their inevitable betrayal. If Lucas hadn’t shoehorned himself into making everything lead into A New Hope, it’d have probably been better written.
You might've already done this, but what if the Jedi had never become Republic agents? Not saying they didn't do anything, they might still investigate the Sith, assist in battles, follow the will of the force, maybe even help the CIS sometimes, but what if they hadn't become Republic agents?
I love you Allen
This would've actually made a better prequel trilogy.
Palpatine: we need an Army now! Kenobi: Finds an army 10 years old ready to go. Palpatine: convenient! Kenobi/Yoda: not sus at all.
Here's an interesting one. What if the assassination attempts on padme didn't fail?
it would be so cool if darth vader and darth maul and obi wan kanobi all faced in the next up coming searise
I'm surprised the kaminoans never called the jedi council to follow up. Then again they are very logical. Order comes in for a clone army in 10 years. They spend the next 10 years building the army.
Wow and literally first 🥇 also plot doesn't work like that lol 😆

Welcome back to another episode of Another Episode... My name is Another Episode.

can you do a part 2 of this idea please?
Wasn't Obi-Wan and Anakin sent to protect Amadalia on the behest of Palpatine? And didn't he knew nearly everything about Anakin and his masters, including Obi-Wan's contacts?
I kind of think Obi-Wan finding the clones was part of the plan. After all, why did Fango even use a dart instead of a blaster, slug thrower, or even a bomb? Why would a professional use anything that is traceable? Or why did he not try to kill Obi-Wan and Anakin as well as kill the bounty hunter to leave no witness if that was the only reason Jango killed the assassin?
The republic had a LOT more than 200,000 clone troopers. It was 200,000 UNITS. A Unit was hundreds of clones.
Actually Kenobi was lead to kamino on purpose - and not only Sidious knew about it but he directly ordered it. So if kenobi failed to find the army then sidious would manufacture another reason and oportunity to discover it.
What if Satine Kryze survived and regained control over Mandalore after Maul's departure?
She would have had probably some smol High-Ground users together with Obi-Wan
