Both series sound amazing but those CD Maples may be the best sounding maple ply shell snare I’ve ever heard. Period.

Mine to.There drums are the cream of the crop as far as I'm concerned. Have you ever seen the snare done in tulip wood with brass hardware.The sound and finish are impeccable.

I have only Solid Shells N&C snares but I’m amazed how good the ply shells sounds!
