São Paulo is the most populous city in Brazil and the capital of the state of São Paulo. Listed by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network (GaWC) as an alpha global city, São Paulo is the most populous city in the world outside of Asia and the world's 20th-largest city proper by population. Additionally, São Paulo is the largest Portuguese-speaking city in the world. It exerts strong international influences in commerce, finance, arts, and entertainment. The city's name honors the Apostle, Saint Paul of Tarsus. The city's metropolitan area, the Greater São Paulo, ranks as the most populous in Brazil and the 12th-most-populous on Earth. The process of conurbation between the metropolitan areas around the Greater São Paulo (Campinas, Santos, Jundiaí, Sorocaba and São José dos Campos) created the São Paulo Macrometropolis, a megalopolis with more than 30 million inhabitants, one of the most populous urban agglomerations in the world.
São Paulo has the largest economy by GDP of the cities of Latin America, and the 23rd largest city GDP in the world, representing 10.7% of the Brazilian GDP and 36% of the goods and services produced in the state of São Paulo. The city is home to the São Paulo Stock Exchange, as well as 63% of established multinationals in Brazil. Paulista Avenue is the economic core of São Paulo.

So many people say that traffic in Sao Paulo is chaotic. That seems like very organized traffic to me, considering that it is a city of 12 million inhabitants. I also said that Sao Paulo had chaotic traffic in rush time until I visited Delhi and Calcutta.
@@edsonborba1781 I can imagine India has extremely bad traffic. For this video of São Paulo I was not driving during rush hour and it was also during holiday period, and there were areas where the traffic was bad but I edited out. All in all it went well and it was a nice drive.

He visto videos desde el cielo de Sao Paulo y se ve impresionante, pero desde abajo me decepcionó, pensaba encontrar una ciudad atractiva y moderna pero no fue así. Se nota que en sus orígenes no fue trazada siguiendo un plano pues tiene muchas calles muy estrechas que parecen laberintos. No ví una Plaza Mayor, no vi el Palacio de Gobierno. Concluyendo, no es una ciudad para los turistas porque hay poco que encontrar que no sean coches y rascacielos. Saludos Cdmx.
@@osvaldosanchez294 São Paulo es una ciudad enorme y solo recorrí una pequeña parte de ella. Pasé por algunos monumentos, pero no por todos, que puedes visitar si vas de visita. La ciudad tiene mucho que ofrecer a pesar de su tamaño. Espero que disfrutes de tu visita. 🤗
