What a great video! You did a wonderful job explaining the basics of reseller hosting. But I cannot imagine setting up a reseller system without WHMCS unless you are just using this as an add on service you offer existing clients. Definitely PLEASE complete the process and give us a similar video on setting up and operating the WHMCS system.
I'm pretty sure that will be done soon to demonstrate that aspect of the process. I generally fall into the camp of total client hosting management as opposed to automated (so clients can buy their own hosting), but will put something together to show how to achieve the automation aspect.

Maybe I’m being a bit thick here, but why would your clients want access to cPanel? Are we looking at a very different client to those who I design and manage websites for who typically just want me to manage everything? I am a freelancer who designs and manages websites for small businesses. I bundle hosting along with management, so there is no separate fee.
I have a combination of clients who couldn't care less about what goes on with their sites as long as they are online as well as a selection of those who are happy to manage and maintain things like email accounts, back-ups, etc. I think having cPanel integration gives you options as a web designer/freelancer, but if your typical client or the way you manage hosting doesn't require that type of setup, that's cool. Most if not all reseller hosting suppliers aren't really charging you any more for access to it on the servers that you utilise. :)

Most of my cleints technical questions or support issues are fairly basic, so I generally handle them myself. For anything more complex on a server level, choosing a company with excellent technical support is the key. This ensures that anything that goes beyond your current knowledge is easily and speedily rectified.

What exact benefits do you offer them that they can't get with a larger company themselves? This is just the confusing part of it for me and I am interested in learning.

Don't go there young padawan. Keep your whmcs and wp well separated, just make a subdomain for your whmcs on another account or server and mimic the design.
