    Thanks for the video. I just got my k110 and i haven't even unboxed it yet. Gotta admit I'm a little intimidated. Trying to soak up as much CP info as possible! Thanks again!

    just like to say thank you for your informative video after watching many how to videos about pitch curves I came across yours and found I was able to follow and under stand .after putting your settings into practise I now find that I am able to hover and fly lazy eights with relative ease and more importantly in control thank you once again

      That's outstanding! I'm glad that my video was able to help you out. Understanding how to make adjustments to the Throttle and Pitch Curves can be a daunting task but once you play around with them, they will start to make more and more sense. Good luck with your flying and give me a shout if I can help any further.

      Thanks buddy! I can't even remember how long I was "clueless" about how the Throttle and Pitch Curves worked together and how to make progressive adjustments. Once I finally gained some understanding, it began to make sense. Many months ago, it seemed (to me) that Delbert was having troubles with it so I made up this video to try to help him out.

    the problem we had with running 75% the when you switch to stunt mode we could not hear the motor jump to 100
    75 and 100 sounded the same.
    flat consistent thr curve is the best thing for a solid tail
    and 48% low on pitch is good if a person panics and gives full negative the copter wont smash into the ground
    excellent job on this video i should have done one like this .
    no one else has the proper setup video like you have posted well done brother

    Hey Derek! Wow! Not only great job on the explanation, but hats off for stepping up to the plate to help one of our own. Delbert is a class act and has always been a great member of the community. Your explanation hits home and is not pretentious or confusing. Hats off bud. You too are a class act! PS How is Jordan and the baby doing? ;)

    Hi, I just built my 1st multicopter and was wondering if you know the settings for a flysky 9x to fly it. Iv tired to fly 2 times and crashed both times. If I decrease throttle after airborne it falls like a rock.

      @mountaindewdude76 10 лет назад

      Hi Neil! I'm sorry to hear about your crashing experience. In all honesty, I don't know anything about a flysky 9x and I don't know much about multirotors either. However, I am a moderator on an rc forum. It's called Rc-Help.com. If you'd like, come over to the forum and post your questions in the multirotor section of the forum. We have several "VERY" knowledgeable people that will surely help you with your questions. www.rc-help.com

    Hey do multicopters require a pitch curve?

    • @mountaindewdude76
      @mountaindewdude76 9 лет назад

      Nope! Multi rotors are setup in your transmitter with an "Airplane" profile, not "Helicopter"....so no curves are needed.

      +neil collins fixed propellers the motors spin in both directions, to go up from an upright position they spin one direction spin the drone upside down, the propellers spin in the opposite direction to go up. It would be amazing if the had pitch curve but, at the moment its too much electronic correction to get that to happen ( 4 gyros modified per motor maybe) well picture 4 helicopters glued to an x on each end and a 3 axle gyro type controller in the center. lol

    My throttle cure screen shows a total of 7 points but only lets me set 1-5.
    How can I set the other 2 - so that I have a 7 point throttle curve ?
    my throttle stick stops 1/4 inch from top and 1/4 inch from bottom.
    When I try to set up throttle curve it only lets me set 5 of the 7 possible positions.
    Do I need to adjust the throttle stick to have full range of motion to fix this?
    If so, how do I make that adjustment ?
    I have a DX6E - thanks

      @mountaindewdude76 6 лет назад

      I've never really found any benefit from having a 7 point throttle curve. I'm not very familiar with the DX6e so I just Google'd your manual. Check out the bottom section of page 29. It explains how to add points to your throttle curve.

      okay, thanks - but what about my throttle stick not going all the way up or down ? Is there a way to adjust the max and min range on the stick movement ?

    • @mountaindewdude76
      @mountaindewdude76 6 лет назад

      can you possibly upload a video of what you are talking about? I'd kinda like to see how far the sticks travel.

    • @lw216316
      @lw216316 6 лет назад

      I'll try to get a video, in the meantime- let me explain it-
      to the left of the throttle stick there are white horizontal markings -
      there is one in the middle that is the longest - it marks the midpoint of the throttle movement range.
      On my tx there are 4 markings above and 4 markings below that center point mark.
      When the stick is moved there is a small white mark on the roller that moves that shows where you are in relation to the other marks.
      My throttle will only move 2 1/2 marks up or 2 1/2 marks down.
      It will not go to marks 3 or 4 on the upside or the downside.

      lw216316 ok, I understand what you are saying now. I have no idea how to adjust that. My suggestion is to call Horizon Hobby and ask for their assistance. They have always been helpful to me when I need to call them.
