    That grey haired man is the one who carefully studied various systems of martial arts around the world and came up with the earliest forms of Russian martial arts.

    The title of video means that the System has resurrested and is brought back to life once more after being censored for 70 years under Soviet power.The thing is that it is still unknown to large part of people,especially Russian, and that is why I chose this title for my video. And one more thing, master Vassiliev was not the only one who taught
    it to public and the word Systema was brought into use by general Kadochnikov and you can see him in this video.

    Yes.........i have seen many styles but this probabbly is the most effective and brutal.Many years ago they developed this perfect style of training and they improved their achivements.Some techniques in the Russian style have ''cigun'' which is antique chineese style of fighting and increasing body energy.

    • @RedBerkut

      Там в описании под роликом есть (Dj Tiesto - Adagio for strings). Видео , где можно подробнее посмотреть на бойца, называется "Летчик в рукопашной схватке".

  • @JFRusty
    @JFRusty 14 лет назад +1

    @HunTer4SOulSdamned I think it is fair to say the people of both countries were heavily propagandized by their governments. Growing up during that time, there was an underlying, generalized fear, but again, I never personally knew anyone who held any animosity towards the Russian people. Thinking back on that time it is very moving to me to now have good friends and training partners who are Russians.

  • @xxibitsuxx
    @xxibitsuxx 15 лет назад

    I think what people are trying to say is that this fighting style was influenced or inspired by others. Nothing is completely original these days, and there is no shame in getting an idea from something else, and then molding it into your own style. No offense was meant, i'm sure.

  • @Gnomei33
    @Gnomei33 11 лет назад +1

    its battle tested,what is unrealistic is like saying You tested.its most likely that You are judging a video without experiencing the pain first hand.the training only looks unrealistic.it is only safe practice for training purposes because in real combat at full speed it is deadly.best thing You can do is rack down one of these teachers and offer him a realistic sparring match and the person will show You just how realistic systema is.as You pic Yourself up off the flor over and over again.

  • @HermannTheGreat
    @HermannTheGreat 12 лет назад +1

    Yep. I bought in to Systema when my kenpo karate instructor in the same vein as Martin Wheeler gave up karate and took up Systema as the next big thing ;/ After attempting to use my learned Systema against brazilian jujitsu and my brothers Tae Kwon do I realized how phony it was and that it's all for show. In a real combat situation it has no practical use because your opponent isn't going to let you manipulate their movement or "go slow" for you.

    I am almost 41 years old and have never ONCE heard an American say ANYTHING negative about a Russian, notwithstanding that I grew up in the 'Cold War' era. I have great respect for the Russian people, and have studied Russian Martial Art for the better part of the last 10 years. The Russians that I have had the privilege to train with have been the best training partners. I am sorry to read that you have that impression of Americans.

    @HyuRayabusa basically you're correct, we are the same people. however there is a faction of nationalists you, that support still Stefan Bandera.. They were with Hitler and committed atrocites in Poland, and against their own Ukrainian people. They are small and weak now since Yushchenko fell. Yanukovych is now the President of Ukraine and will resort sanity to Ukraine once more! I liked your comment, so I sub'd ya... "Hi" brother! :)
