Yo, I find I have the same problem with mascaras too, but one “designer” one that I’ve really been liking is the Milk makeup Kush Mascara! It has my lashes staying PUT! They have little sample tubes that I bought a couple times bc I don’t like being committed to one makeup thing, but finally bought the full tube bc I really love it! But I do have to say, it is a little wet like you said, but for some reason it doesn’t make your eyelashes flop down, at least in my experience.
