Great in-depth guide! I've been eyeballing your decklists for a while and finally got the gems together to craft it. It's very well built, and a lot of fun! What's your opinion on Hide & Seek at 2 or 3? It seems really important for a spell you can't search? Thanks :)
I've tried running it at higher counts in the past and it's just tough to have in your hand sometimes going second when you could have a handtrap or extender or something. It's searchable via Melffy of the Forest so I usually try to grab it if I have extra resources turn 1!
6:21 I think this is incorrect. Different from each other only refers to the 2 monsters being summoned, so you can't pick 2 Catty for example. They have to be 2 different monsters. Having copies of those monsters on the field/GY is irrelevant.
Your understanding is definitely accurate. This situation specifically, though, is if you don't have two different names in your deck you will summon nothing. This is assuming we have only the 10 cards in front of us. If the melffy I mentioned are all on the field or in the GY then there are not two bodies that can be summoned from the deck with different names.

How do you feel about Mine Mole as a level 3 instead of peropero? That's what I had been using. I guess it comes down to whether the destruction or the draw is more valuable.
hey have you thought of Behemoth the King of a Hundred Battles? I've been a big Melffy fan and once that card dropped I was for sure it would be in everyone's mind for Melffy but no one has said anything about it... what do you think? Its hard to get into hand turn 1 and summon but if u start obedience and that in hand its so funny to see your opponent do all these things and it can't be affected by monster effects and they sit they're thinking... throw in a Melffy Hide n' Seek and its so funny!!! hahaha can I get your opinion on why you think no one uses this card or mentions it?
In the meantime, you can use cards like : 1. Omega - Level 8, UR. It rips one card from your opponent's hand. If you play it with Gamma, you can get into it for free sometimes. 2. White Aura Whale - Level 8, SR. Destroys all attack position monsters your opponent controls. Needs Pinny to work, can't use Locust. Should use the Ghoti package (Arionpos, SR ED and Zep N Main Deck). 3. Hyper Psychic Riser - Level 6, R. No monsters below 2000 can attack. No monsters above 2000 can activate effects on field. 4. Powered Inzektron - Level 6, R. Basically Waboku. Makes you unkillable for one turn. There's a bunch of budget things you can fit in the meantime, just take a peep at any level 4, 6, or 8 synchros that require only any unrestricted Tuner/Non Tuner
You'd have to rely on hard drawing E Tele then. Diva is a 1 card starter currently that also pairs with Steed for any Level 8~10 synchro. NS Diva, SS itself > XYZ into Melffy of the Forest, search Wally is something we wouldn't be able to do with 1 gamma.

@@chat-shire8836 def cat and alpha. Stardust is great but you need all three, so take the time to get those together!
