I don't think it was cringeworthy. I think there's many facets to Hiddleston that perhaps us, as fans, just aren't aware of. Most his interviews seem to follow the same vein of deep character analysis and I love those too, but when you can rap a Will Smith song as well as you can recite Shakespeare, there's definitely an element of your personality can relate beyond that of an insightful academia actor. I do believe he is a true gentleman and a true gentleman can blend well into any situation.

Wow, I've never heard him this... casual and almost rude in any other interview. He's always so gentlemanly. I really admire his dedication to adapting to whatever he feels is the most polite in accordance to his environment.
AcentricOm I don't think he was rude, he DID adapt, but I don't think he was rude. I mean, as much of a gentleman as he is, you think he really doesn't curse when he's in a relaxed environment. We all do it. I'm glad he doesn't hide it and try to act like he's Mr. Perfect, which actually makes him even more perfect. This man!

I like how he can competently fit in with any group with ease. I was just watching an interview with him, and the other guests were Shakespeare historians and Tom fit in perfectly, actually dishing out Shakespeare knowledge on the experts. Then he goes on here with these knuckleheads and interacts seamlessly. It's awesome. I'm straight but his whole attitude and demeanor is something to strive for.
