    Had a Big 12 assistant coach email me directly after a huge showcase saying the head coach wanted to have me on campus and see me again. Did the camp and only talked to same assistant who told me go D2. Some camps are definitely a money grab

    • @DSARM
      @DSARM  2 года назад +2

      That’s nuts bro. Total money grabs

    • @jackwilliams7738

      College camps are a waste of money especially the big D1 camps. You don’t need to attend the camp to even get a scholarship. The show cases are worth the money if you get a good grade/ranking.

    Im def gonna have to get my son to start watching. My son got a camp invite from from numerous schools and the majority of the emails are def copy and paste. But there has been a few that were personal emails. We went to a camp to a D1 in Texas (Stephen F Austin) that was setup nice. Each station had that paticular coach watching. Pitching coach actually got my sons number and will text occasionally to see how his season is going. Sucks that my son fractured his right wrist right before season started. Out 8 weeks and then did arm care and bullpens for a few weeks before returning to the mound. He was living at 87-88 at 16. He was wating to be at least 90 by the summer but who knows. His work ethic is crazy. Really enjoy yalls podcast. Keep up the good work

      Thank you!! Throwing 88 at 16 he’s gonna have a tonnn of opportunities, that’s awesome to hear. Good luck to him and glad you like the podcast!

      Thank you,. I was watching one of yalls other videos and a viewer commented about something I would be interested in getting yalls take on. Fieldlevel, NCSA apps and others. Pros, cons, and how yall view those types of apps. Thanks

      He’s got elite arm strength for his age. Just take care of the arm and keep working hard. Probably will go D1. All the pitchers that threw that hard when I was playing travel ball went to major d1 schools.

    One of the big draws for PBR when ur a sophomore or younger is the potential invite to the PBR Future games or the Junior version of it

    We played chipola down south and the slowest arm was 89 and that was the 17 year old who’s a draft prospect who pitched because they were up by 8

      We played Chat valley cvcc when I was in college and their whole team was on steroids. Shit was crazy. Their starting pitcher was sitting 97 mph.

    Pg and camps are good. They are great for guys who don’t have their name out their. For example like a guy who throws low 90s. He might not have offers but, he could get some.

    • @DSARM
      @DSARM  2 года назад

      True.. buuut for the price its tough man. PG showcases are upwards of $700. A lot of people can't afford that but think it's their only option to get recruited

    I feel like the only time to transfer is A you have a guy that there is zero chance your starting over someone, you don’t like the culture of the school or your not going to start going into junior year

    My son was invited to PG and he just turned 12. I don't know how they found him ,but he had a excellent fall season Hitting over 500 with 6 homers over the fence. Do you think its worth driving to fort meyers from Texas? Can I send you his RUclips videos? If so it's Branden Slugger Carter.

    I also believe genetics start your floor the guys throwing gas in middle school and on 90 foot diamond arms strength is all based on genetics
