I like how you pressed on despite not liking the results first time round. I was impressed by how you just trusted your gut and came out with that Spectacular masterpiece. Those nails got to me one of my all time fav now. Incredible work Emily💞💗💞
I'm a newbie at my nails, so I really appreciate you showing your mistakes and also admitting how long it takes you to do them. I always felt really bad that it took me hours to make my nails look nice! You are amazing!! Thank you for being you
Same dude 🤨🤣🥰🙌🏽🤗 apparently I picked up a couple new hobbies over 2021 and SFX makeup 🤨💀🤣 currently learning how to use liquid latex and liquid silicone (brand name is Dragon Skin FX Pro and various dragon skin molds to make for my sons 😎🙌🏽
@CJ What really helped me was seeing her do a video once, and then telling us that she was going to finish them in the morning. I do that a lot myself and I don't feel bad about it now!
I just love her. She shows you it’s not always gonna be perfect..a more realistic take on things so you don’t feel as bad when you don’t get things right
You made this look SOOOOO easy! Every other video I’ve seen on here it looks like it’s a. Lot harder to achieve unless your a pro nail tech but I ACTUALLY am going to buy the stuff for this and try it now cause you made this look so easy for somewhat a beginner in nail art! Thank you! Thank you! Thank youuuu!!!!!!
You one of the real people that we really like to watch now I’m in my late 60s and I know you’re a young beautiful sweet lady I really enjoy your channel because of your sense of humour because you laugh at your mistakes because you keep going and you’re willing to go to the extreme like with the extreme long nails you’re not afraid to try anything you just keep trucking on and I think that’s what brings pretty much all of us to your channel it’s just everything about it
Omg I love them! I’ve also been trying the aurora nails out on myself and what I’ve learned through trial and error is that in order to achieve a more “smooth” look, it helps to have a medium-thick layer of builder gel on your nail before you lay down the film for it to lay flat. Additionally, if you make the film thinner, it helps with the leveling and won’t give you the weird bumps when encapsulated. However, I’ve never tried it with acrylic, so it may be different in application.
These came out so cute the jelly colors themself were cute like a galaxy theme 🥰 and tip for sticking stuff down use the back of a nail form to help make it flat 🤪
I always really appreciate how you do not try to cover your fails or nails that you did not like. I like the honesty and it is nice that not everything on the internet is perfect on the first try, u kno? It is nice to see your learning curve 🤩🤩 But I also think that your "failed nails" were so pretty and awesome too!
I was going to make a comment about that! I'm so glad others noticed. Someone who isn't professional doesn't earn nearly half a million RUclips subscribers! I adore her. I'm old enough to be her mom, but I think she's absolutely brilliant.
I love the detail you go into with your designs and it's really cool that you show the fall even though they looked good too. Also love the conversational style of your videos. Really enjoying your channel, thank you!
Honestly, I love watching your videos. I fond you to be so chill and your voice is so relaxing for me. I am def voting for you everyday until I can't anymore for the influencer awards. Thank you for sharing your passion with us!
You did an amazing job! Thank you for showing the differences in what you thought looked better vs the “failed” result. The amount of time and energy you put into these is insane! Thank you for giving me so much inspiration and advice!
If you place the foil in the wet acrylic and press it down & hold for a few seconds with the backing paper from a form it will lay flat better. Love these sets so much!!!
It may sound weird but I really love your voice. It‘s so soothing & calming, I always put on your videos at night if I cant fall asleep and it works most of the time ☺️ keep doing nails, you‘re so Talented!
Ive been binge watching all your videos since i first saw your videos like 3 weeks ago & ive already gotten polygel and just waiting on my nail tips today !!! always wanted to do my own nails but thought it was too difficult but you really inspired me to just do it
I can't even with how you made these!!! I love these so much, and I've always loved watching others make aurora nails, but yours are kiiiiind of my favorite. Stay safe and happy, and keep getting puppy kissing every day!! ♡
I love your persistence most really me would have given up. I’ve only seen the Aroura effect on short nails and they are mad bulky. These came out so good!!!🥰
they came out so good! i think if you want to avoid the wrinkles in the foil you have to put the foil between 2 sheets of clear plastic with some top coat and flatten it with a card until its totally flat and bubble free, then cure it! the top coat gives the foil some extra thickness and makes it less prone to wrinkles.
As someone who gets to see the aurora from her bedroom window, I can confirm that these are just as gorgeous!!! And I'm not joking! I live parallel to Alaska!!!
I’ve been watching you for years and you’ve come so far. It’s been nice to watch your progression. You’re so talented. I used to be a nail tech so I know that they’re not as easy as they look to do. Much love from England ❤️
I used a cute plastic from bath and body works during their winter time sales, it provided that same effect for the aurora nails. I love watching your videos and I'm so glad to see the items I've been eyeing used and tested. 💕
Honestly I've seen so many people try to do this trend, including professional nail techs with tons of experience, and I think that you did it better than anyone else that I've seen. These are stunning, I'm going to try doing it the way that you did it 👏
Okay firstly, these turned out stunning.. I loved all of them, but totally get what you were saying with your preference and the “aurora” look. I think when they get crinkly it kind of reminds me of that trend where people put the gel polish with saran wrap and then fill it in with a different color and file it down so it shows that texture through (hopefully anybody knows what I am talking about because I had no idea how to explain it😂 it was all over instagram for months but it was awhile ago).. it just reminds me of that. You inspire me to want to invest in the creative aspect of doing my nails all the time, I am still a beginner with tips and gels and stuff, but I am getting better and it is such a fun thing to be able to do.. anyway you are appreciated! ❤️
I would use cling film (plastic wrap) or even a piece of a clear sandwich bag after placing the mylar on wrap a piece around ur nail till the acrylic slightly hardens, they look lovely tfss 🥰❤
Dang 18 comments already 1 minute In lol I've been waiting for this episode I'm so excited! I'm voting for you every single day girl. Thanks for all your hard work! ♥️❤️
I love how you work through obstacles, and perceiver, making the best of the situation through trial and error. I have a ton of foils, and am so apprehensive to just play with them, seeing how they work and all. I see that you were making little cuts to help them lay flat. Do you think using a hair dryer or some type of heat would help shrink it do the surface? I might try that myself. the warped edges would drive me nuts. I don't blame you for taking off the first set. The oil slick pattern is my favorite. Keep on rockin!
Love watching your videos, you're such a sweet person and your nails are 100× better now from when you first started! It's been soo fun to watch you grow and improve with every set🙂 you've proved that determination pays off!
The green practice one actually looks like the Aurora!!! And the blue one reminds me of going to the Ice “Castle” here in Alaska. These turned out beautiful!!
Emily appreciation post ❤️❤️❤️ your videos always manage to calm my anxiety even though my nails only ever seem to be black, especially with classes starting up again I’ve been absolutely loving your content lately ❤️❤️
i have the same foils! i haven’t used them yet but i always intended on doing so with transfer gel! this was super interesting to see this beautiful outcome!
Wrap a piece of plastic around the nail to hold down the paper while it dries. These turned out soooooo awesome! Definitely going to give it a try! Thanks for yet another great vid!
Absolutely beautiful as always Queen 🤩. My biggest down fall on doing my nails is doing my non dominant hand. Thought you going to do part 2 of David design your nails 🤷🏼♀️. Be safe and have a wonderful week love you guys 💕💙
I am in love with these nails! Normally I wouldn’t want rhinestones cause I always catch them on everything. I feel like some iridescent rhinestones around the cuticle and maybe a design to cover the areas where the foils made it appear lumpy would have looked so cute.
One of these manufacturers should start selling the films into the different shapes and sizes of different nail tips so you don’t have to fidget with cutting them out!
Absolutely gorgeous nails. I bought some of these thinking they were actually transfer foils but after seeing those Instagram posts and your video I have some grand ideas.. thanks for sharing this video 💅💕
yeesss my favorite the acrylic mixing 😭🙏🏼plus your channels growing sooo much omg !! 💗💗i’ve been waiting for this video , these are sooo funn i love them 💗
After I watched a video of urs doing 5 tik tok things I went and bought the lil thing that bends the metal decorations and also that mixer. My mixer did me the same way. It got clogged I believe. That being said tho Emily ur amazing and I LOVE ur videos! I've learned alot from ya! Thanks for sharing ur time with us! Huggies!
On the one where you used the powder you can also put the powder on top after the foil and that's the way I think they look best. Hope this helps for the next time you try this method!😍😍😍
I just wanna say your literally the best person at nails your such an artist like i will never be able to do that.❤💜💜💜💛💙💗💓💓 your husbands designs were amazing aswell. I just love how your so good at recreating designs.
Thanks for sharing and being real lol. Some videos they make it look easy and sometimes it's not, I do my own and others and I can relate to you completely lol. Appreciate it 😊
I have something similar to the iridescent sheets you were cutting out but mine is actually a transfer foil (when used on the correct side of course lol). Wondering if your box is the same product, if so it would help with the bunching problem. Either way, this is a beautiful set 😍✨
I come here for the chaos and stay for the nails
Facts 💕 she always apologizes for her chaos but i love her maping her way into the design and all of the talking
Amen
Same tho!
Yeah what she said lol 😂
You did a great job. I do believe these are transfer fouls though. So maybe try foil gel and transferring the image possible next time.
I like how you pressed on despite not liking the results first time round. I was impressed by how you just trusted your gut and came out with that Spectacular masterpiece. Those nails got to me one of my all time fav now. Incredible work Emily💞💗💞
I agree 👍🏼 also I love your profile picture! Did you draw that? Or is it someone else's artwork? If so what's their name and such?
I'm a newbie at my nails, so I really appreciate you showing your mistakes and also admitting how long it takes you to do them. I always felt really bad that it took me hours to make my nails look nice! You are amazing!! Thank you for being you
Saaaaame. I always wondered how people have time to do their nails so I just leave mine bare
I can take 4 hours to do one hand and it’s so frustrating and time consuming. For the simplest things 😭
@CJ What really helped me was seeing her do a video once, and then telling us that she was going to finish them in the morning. I do that a lot myself and I don't feel bad about it now!

this would be a perfect set to use those iridescent rhinestones, especially to cover up ay spots you don't like
Omg I love them! How can you make the film pieces any thinner? I'm not sure I understand? THX
@@susidefour5257 I think she means the width. So cut the same lenght but slimmer.
These came out so cute the jelly colors themself were cute like a galaxy theme 🥰 and tip for sticking stuff down use the back of a nail form to help make it flat 🤪
I love the chaos! It shows your creative intuition and ability! I always make a mess when making ART.
i honestly really love how you experiment and not just DO your nails. It’s so much more interesting/fun and i love the process.
I always really appreciate how you do not try to cover your fails or nails that you did not like. Instead of cutting the film into shape try putting it onto the nail WHOLE and then trimming the edges you will see a much smoother and full coverage 😉
Yes that is exactly what I was thinking the whole time
I'm obsessed with your videos and have been watching you for the last 7 hours.. not even exaggerating. Its so entertaining for some reason!
🥰
Honestly, I love watching your videos. I fond you to be so chill and your voice is so relaxing for me. I am def voting for you everyday until I can't anymore for the influencer awards. Thank you for sharing your passion with us!
Your fun to watch and I love the honesty of it all...not knowing what you want to do and etc. Just keep being you
You did an amazing job! Thank you for showing the differences in what you thought looked better vs the “failed” result. The amount of time and energy you put into these is insane! Thank you for giving me so much inspiration and advice!
My jaw literally DROPPED when you applied the top coat, STUNNING. WELL DONE
Anacrylics has the most clear acrylic I've seen and BTW your videos are so calming 😌
If you place the foil in the wet acrylic and press it down & hold for a few seconds with the backing paper from a form it will lay flat better. Love these sets so much!!!

Love that you're willing to try these hacks and show us🥰
Your second set is pure perfection. The first set is fun but I’m glad you did them again.
I love your persistence most really me would have given up. I’ve only seen the Aroura effect on short nails and they are mad bulky. These came out so good!!!🥰
They look gorgeous Emily, love all your videos, you're the best nail channel. Hope you and the fam are well, Blessings from Scotland. 🙏🏴🌹

this is probably one of my favorite sets you've ever done! they came out so good! love your videos and keep doing what you're doing

Much love from England ❤️
I use that exact mica set for resin art! They're so pearly and nice!
I used a cute plastic from bath and body works during their winter time sales, it provided that same effect for the aurora nails. I love watching your videos and I'm so glad to see the items I've been eyeing used and tested. 💕
The ammount of work you put into this set, amazing!
I literally love the chaos. It makes my brain happy!

wouldn't you just end up with the plastic stuck to your nail or plastic imprint in the builder gel?
@@Ambuttx If you have glue or something under paper then a smooth clear plastic you won't have anything stick it'll just help hold the shape.

Wow 😍 you nailed it, they are stunning!
