I went up against a Pyroar once with my Feraligatr. I had a feeling my opponent’s Pyroar was running Solar Beam so I shielded the move.

thoroughly convinced there’s an algorithm now… I switched to running a Salazzle and all of a sudden, for the first time all week I run into Cofagrigus and Runerigus, as well as double Psychic (Hypno/Girafarig). Seriously, didn’t see a single one of those for the last week or more. And i’m not losing any more than usual anyway💀

I ran this team the second I saw this video post, and I ran into two players running ferrothorn, razer tropius, charm a9. I didn't even use cress or zard either match

Turns out it was the poli that felt the wrath of the solar beam pyroar.
Ran a similar team on veteran rank but instead using froslass, shadow typhlosion and shadow Charizard and had a lot of success until seeing your carbink team 😢
There's so many frame drops that I've stopped playing for a while. I've dropped like 150 points cause of that.

Just regarding your comment at @12:18 about the frame drops and "Niantic fix your game man". I'm one of those players where i usually end a season around the 3,000 to 3,100 range. Which means, if i lag a couple turns because of frame drops or game lag, and lose key match-ups, i dont reach Legend rank and ultimately feel disappointed in the whole season of trying for something i deserve..
I really hope Niantic fixes PVP once and for all including this "New Mechanic" nonsense that needs to be consistent along with the 1 turn lag after bringing in a new Pokemon with loaded energy.
