George very much missed. I was very lucky to see him with Ravi Shankar in Seattle Washington 1974. Awesome. But when I saw the Beatles in August 31st 1965 at the Cow Palace San Francisco. That was a big deal for an 11 year old

George saying "three old men" when he was maybe 43, which is still quite young. Think it's kind of crazy how we saw age back then. Even crazier to think how much George had done, seen and lived in that time.

In the mid nineties George was seen twice in Golden Bay Tasman New Zealand. A kind of shangri la which he loved. He was seen eating on a bench near his car in a lay by. He than was seen in the local vegan cafe the Wholemeal Cafe. A guy approached him and said, are you George Harrison the Beatle and George replied.... I used to be. Delia Morris

Something similar happened in a radio interview in the 60s, they asked him to repeat the word 'bracket' that he had pronounced in another previous interview, it's adorable how he repeated several times with that unique accent he had especially when he was young, unparalleled and very exotic as his first wife once said.

That interviewer is interviewing the wrong person. He doesn't know jack about George (nor the Beatles, for that matter) and is completely disengaged. When George reveals that he's going to record a new record next year, it's like if George was saying that he's going to buy a new pair of shoes; it goes completely unnoted. If he was the right interviewer, he would be excited to hear about it. Ironically, that album George is referring to (Cloud Nine), would be his best album after All Things Must Pass; a great album...

1:09 "What about these ever-persistent rumours about The Beatles getting back together, any chance of that?"
2:01 "Because if you go by the reports, it's Paul that is pushing to get you all back together, is that right?"
2:57 "Well seeing you got yourself and Ringo getting together, would it be a good idea just to get Paul over just for a couple of numbers?"
I'm sick of the reunion questions just from this one interview - imagine being asked about it all the time.

3 old men ... George, you were only 43 in this. Not *that* old. Besides, Paul is still singing those songs and he’s pushing 80! But I get it and I appreciate them not cashing out on the Beatles thing excessively. Reissues are one thing, but if they had gone out as 3 of them, it would’ve been lame.
