I love the skyliner is a very relaxing way of transportation and it because if a cabin per family is more confortable some times than the bus and the monorail
That’s very true, when it’s just you and your party in a cabin it’s the best!
🌙Perfect timing for that beautiful sunset. In another day with the winds, a person explained it took double the usual time for they were running slower for safety. That's the chances you take.🚡 Wasn't sure if we were getting an updated Fantasmic or a storm/rain video, but this brought back a nice memory.. Thx 4 💜
Ah yes that makes sense that it runs slower in that wind. I tend to avoid going on it during that kind of weather, but it’s good to know they slow it down. It’s been so long since I’ve seen Fantasmic, I definitely will go back soon and film a better version of it. Thank you so much Liz!

Love your Skyliner videos 4K!! It won’t be running my next visit, so I’ll enjoy it from here. After a hectic morning of meetings, this ride on the Skyliner is a great break to calm and refocus….☺️ Beautiful dusk views!!

I literally “officially” booked my next trip in the past hour for August
@@CraigSiegel32 9 days! i’ll leave Saturday afternoon (20th) driving halfway, finishing drive Sunday…only a ten hour drive, but nice to arrive not exhausted. Staying a week at POFQ
@@rwbashaw66when I saw Boardwalk was booked solid for when I’m there in August, i was thinking either that or Riverside. But ultimately we chose Pop Century honestly for the skyliner
@@CraigSiegel32 I had booked into Pop, but then found that the Skyliner would be down for annual maintenance during my visit, so switched over to Port Orleans French Quarter. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

I was going to go to Boardwalk in August, but the rooms we were looking at are no longer available.
Wanted to really take advantage of the Skyliner; figured I’d save a few bucks and stay at Pop Century. (And I’ll probably use that money that I saved to go to the Halloween party.)
Ah I’m sorry Craig. Things could probably open up again at the Boardwalk as you get closer to August, so just keep checking if you’re still interested! Pop century is still awesome though and saving some money is always good
Doooo itttt. You spend most of your time at the park anyways. Plus, the entire skyliner trip from Pop Century to Epcot, or Hollywood Studios, is scenic and like a fun ride itself.

The skyliner goes to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, but not the other parks.
Skyliner connects Pop Century Resort and Art of Animation Resort from the South to the center station, located at Caribbean Beach Resort. From the center station here you can go West, to Hollywood Studios, or go North, which goes to Riviera Resort, then if you continue, to Epcot, at the West entrance located next to Boardwalk Resort. My favorite is the stretch from the center station North towards Riviera/Epcot, as you pass over the colorful Caribbean Beach resort buildings
We recently went Disney Resort hopping and had to hop on the Skyliner, monorail, buses, and boats (all free) to see many resorts but you do have to know where to park as your starting point. We made a YT video out of it to help others figure it all out. 🤗

My favorite part of the ride would be where I’m leaving the park. 😎
Are those things air conditioned? I'd never ride that thing, especially in the summer. Getting stuck for hours, or even 30 minutes, could really through the day off.
No they aren’t air conditioned unfortunately. They do have openings in them that allow air to constantly flow through it, so it never feels too hot in there. But being stuck in it on a hot summer day can be rough, depending on how long the stop is
I was in one on a hot day and found myself pleasantly surprised, being that high up the vents gave a nice cool breeze and it felt cooler than when I got back off the ride into a humid nightmare.
I’m surprised the spiel still says “ladies and gentlemen”. Given how politically correct Disney is lol.
Probably one of the more romantic ways to spend time at WDW is in a Skyliner at sunset. That, and riding up front in a monorail at nite back in the day. 🌅🚡🍿
Ah yes, I wish I had the chance to ride at the front of the monorail back then!
