dazai has good intentions, i get it,,, but he's just not what atsushi needs. if he's scared to be weak and scared to confront his past because "self pitying will disappoint dazai" he won't ever move on from his upbringing
@@a_loser yes I agree!! Especially since Dazai himself still obviously needs help. I personally don’t think he has changed much currently as he STILL hasn’t apologized to the people he has hurt and has only really just thrown all his problems in the past which isn’t exactly healthy either. I might be bias tho because I hate Dazai…but I still try to be respectful about him online…(so his fans don’t eat me alive.)
@@StinkyAtlas honestly i dislike dazai too!! to add to ur point, not only has he not tried apologizing to those he has hurt but doesn't even regret what he did to akutagawa??? also, the more i think about his character the more he reminds me of headmaster-- both of them abuse someone because its what they think is RIGHT or HELPFUL. headmaster tortured atsushi because he wanted to "train" him to face what will await atsushi in the world beyond the orphanage, to condition him to endure pain and abuse-- sound familiar? both of them have a skewed perception of saving people. i can give credit to dazai for not doing that to atsushi, from learning... something? from the past and yeah, the advice he gave atsu in the slap scene(tm) was GOOD advice, but like,,, seriously? no one can move of from being tortured that fast, dude. theres a posibility im spewing bs but thats what i understood from the situation lol
@@a_loser No honestly I think the complete same. Dazai has hurt Akutagawa (not saying he’s innocent but he deserves an apology) and not mention CHUUYA…and this isn’t even coming from a chuyya d rider either. Dazai has forced chuuya in bad situations and even if Chuuya’s life was doomed to go bad in some way without him, it still went bad because of DAZAI. Then Dazai decides to leave the port mafia which honestly is good for him but again he is the one who forced Chuuya in basically😭 Knowing Chuuya’s character he probably wouldn’t want the apology but apologizing is a good start regardless of the other’s reaction. I still personally love Soukoku as I find them interesting with a complex relationship but I still think Dazai needs to actually communicate…Not only that but when Dazai said he acknowledged Aku people took it as Dazai did so much for the BARE MINIMUM. He quite literally beat this kids ass, abused him, and mentally abused him…why we are acting like THAT was enough? and we need more atsushi scenes because HES THE MAIN CHARACTER YET I KEEP SEEING THIS STINKY BANDAGED FREAK.💀 (sorry for the yap fest!)
@@StinkyAtlas no dw i love the yapping!! but MY GOD are u so real on that last part. i joined the fandom fairly recently, but that doesnt mean i have never been exposed to it (esp soukoku) and im telling u i had no idea atsushi was even in bsd. i whole-heartedly thought dazai was the mc. i can ramble abt this so much-- atsushi is the literal definition of underrated in his own damn show. heck-- my first gacha thing i uploaded on here was abt just that. im legit so pissed at how atsu is treated like a side character and how dazai seems to be pushed to replace his role. hhhhh also dont get me started on how bro treated chuuya-- the guy isnt my fave but GAWD DAMN. while i think skk is cute and all, i cant see it being canon (its like the bakudeku of ships, no offense, i mean ship who u ship but its my opinion). dazai has gone through a LOT, i really get that, but that doesnt give him the right to hurt others-- as u said, he hasnt even moved on from his own stuff, so who tf is he to tell atsushi to move on quicker???
