- #racer75 is a very well maintained wooden roller coaster formerly named "Rebel Yell" located at #kingsdominion in Doswell, Virginia, Providing great airtime and still a smooth ride, this is another cant miss at KD. This ride as also shown in the movie “roller coaster” in 1977. Height:85ft MPH:56
This was my first real coaster and I’m eleven, I heard adults screaming while I had my hands up. My cousin ms can’t call me scared no more
Last time I went they still had the sign that says “Do not stand up”…been 15 years or so so maybe they took it down, but there was a time when you could stand up if you wanted to

Sustained floater beats pops of ejector and quick transitions for me. That's why this coaster is the best in the park.
Intimidator 305 took the thrill out of every other ride I went on in the park. My friends who didn’t go on the intimidator asked to rank this ride. My friend said like a 7/10 and I said “mid.” They asked me why and I said that the intimidator took the thrill out of every other ride in the park
When they ran this backwards, they called it Yell Rebel.
It also ran forwards as Rebel Yell as well

Does it still race? I love wooden roller coasters that remind me of my beloved Colosssus at SFMM which is still a racer but it’s a hybrid mobius loop now in the form of Twisted Colossus. I have noticed that a lot of the classic wooden racers don’t race anymore and that’s too bad
I found the south Racer track to be really rough last weekend. I felt like we could have been thrown from the car without the seatbelt or the lap-bar. It was great ride until it hit that corner and I thought we were going to derail.

Racer75 doesn't have a trim brakes going into the turn around. So why does The Racer at Kings Island have them. Back in the day when the Trains had Buzz Lap Bars and Skid Friction Brakes, there were no trim brakes???🤔

It is so strange that Race75 is smooth while Grizzly is rough considering Race75 is older coaster
Grizzly has received a retrack, so hopefully it's at least as smooth as Racer 75 now.

@@MikeS-bf9vq yeah I went on this back in the late 90s and early 00s.. back when they had the ride in reverse option (don't know if that still exists I haven't been to KD in a while)
