We need more GOOD Star Wars on TV not less. How many movies can be released each year? (TWO?) Wasn’t there a negative reaction to all of the SWs movies produced in the last decade? I am thrilled to see Star Wars TV content produced in the UK. I hope the mouse has MORE TV shows in the planning stage, as Ashoka S2 is the only content that I have heard that is in pre production. I am so far thrilled with Skeleton Crew and hope that Andor S2 will be be great. Keep up the Good Work Meg! A fan since ‘78.
Anyone who grew up with The Goonies will love Skeleton Crew, glad they made it a series for proper character building! Hopefully it ends well. I'm still carrying Season 7 & 8 GoT trauma 😅
I can't help but remember that Dooku removed several planets from the Jedi Archives in Tales Of the Sith, not just Kamino. It makes me wonder if this was another.
Honestly I want to give the show a chance, I despise the Last Jedi and everything about it, so I’m very hard on anything Disney made. The Mandaloian started out great, I love Andor with its grittiness. This is a kids show, and just like the Ewok adventure if it remains so I will be happy. No need to map it more than that.
Not everyone needs to moan on RUclips about something that can't be changed, but here we are! There was probably too many jedi's for you in acolyte too 🥴
If they dump all the episodes at once it means that the content around d the show gets made really quickly. Whereas releasing weekly allows for more breathing room and to add interest and returning interest for the show.
Skeleton Crew definitely brings much wonder and adventure. It’s very much like all the pirate stories I grew up on in the 70’s as a kid. It has that Treasure Island and Tom Sawyer/Huck Finn feeling. The first two episodes are fun, can’t wait to see more Jude Law.
I’ll bet Skeleton Crew had two different finales filmed. One would have been open ended, and one would have been closed, and they’re chose which to air based on the premiere
I heard these other big channels bashing it but was totally ignored when I suggested they were probably talking about the Clone Wars era Republic and not the KOTOR version from thousands of years ago because it makes more sense. I’m glad to be vindicated.👍
Those "big channels" grift off of sad people who got older, but never grew up, and, somewhere along the way, lost their ability to suspend disbelief the way they could as kids. They're also weak people who need to be in a big group. That used to be fandom, but Disney shattered that unity, so they've chosen to side with the larger group (and the loudest voices) who hate everything Star Wars, regardless of what it is... because to acknowledge any of it is actually good (which it is), would immediately end their grift... the way a politician switching parties or a pastor losing faith would end their careers. Be thankful you're not weak and sad and can still imagine and dream.

Possible spoilers ahead: I was watching the lyric video of Youngee Wim (the Huttese version of Major Tom on the official Star Wars youtube channel) and there is some new footage in it. One of the new shots is a shot of the children looking at a destroyed building (3:11 in the video). This building looks a lot like the school on At Attin, the structure is the same and there is a destroyed tram in the background, the same kind as the ones in the first episode. It would be very interesting if that really is At Attin, since it appears to be partially destroyed.
I rewatched The Acolyte in it's entirety today. It was a good show. If they ever decide to do a Season 2, they can link it's ending to Episode 1 & be done with it. The show could use better sets as budget wise, I don't know what the money went to visually.

I cannot wait for Ahsoka season 2. I know everyone loves Andor, and I do too, but Ahsoka hit a chord with me. Rebels was almost as good as The Clone Wars and to have a live-action continuation of Rebels is more than I could have ever hoped for. I've watched it all the way thru three times and love it more each time. I've even committed myself to buying all of the Hot Toys 1/6th figures from Ahsoka and I'm not really a collector of Star Wars Hot Toys figures. That's pretty lame it would make more sense if it was an ancient city like Atlantis. It’s kind of weird that nobody knows about it if it was just 50 years ago

I think, because they exist at the same time… Asokah season 2 is being rushed into production so it can be released to lead in to The Mandalorian & Grogu so that the movie can tie off all those storylines that take place before the creation of the First Order so that Disney can wrap all the pre-FO timelines and then make Rey the main focus of any further Star Wars and keep it all in the future.

One question i had about Ep02 is, why does Nawood wait until the kids are also in the jail cell before he tries to use telekinesis on the prison keys? He could have done that before...unless he needed the kids somehow.
I had the same question. If he could, why not sooner. And there’s no way he would know to wait for the kids because they don’t show up until after his crew mutinies. Unless it was a trick. He doesn’t have jedi abilities and built a contraption that allowed him to get the key to him and it was just perfect timing for when the kids showed up.
Hello Star Wars Meg: If the showrunners have a concern about the children of Skeleton Crew aging, and changing between season 1 and 2, they can mimic the process used by Warner Brothers for Harry Potter. Film season 2 immediately on completion of season 1. That way, were don't have such a time and age gap with the kids. We can watch the kids maturing, learning, developing during the show. It's more realistic, unlike with adults l, who don't change very much physically as time passes.
I just watched today the 2 part start of Skeleton Crew. It was amazing. It touched so many different aspects with the kids and the world around them. They were ignorant of the other worlds and alien lives. Wow!! It is so refreshing to see this series and I am eager to see where it goes. Equally excited to see if they do season 2. This series is top tier.
I wonder how they want to make season 2 considering that the child actors are growing up. They don't look like kids anymore and in 2 years they will be typical teenagers - look more like adults. New crew and story or a sequel with more adult characters? Comparison to Stranger Things or anything else is out of place because there is a plan there. Here Disney can bask in its own success and say: Do you like these kids? Then you'll get more of them. But they won't be kids because the production time will take too long. Totally ignoring the fact that these kids are already close to being adults (so same with characters)due to time to make season 2 out of enthusiasm not planning. These characters won't grow up with the audience.
I think Lucas film and Disney just needs to worry about getting the first season out without it being a dumpster fire before they even think about a second season for skeleton crew. Granted the first two episodes were not terrible. They weren’t great, but definitely not the acolyte. I would probably wait till the closer to the end of the season before they start talks. I personally cannot wait for Asoka season two season. Season One was awesome.

Mando and Andor had quality writing. The rest was bad or at most mediocre.
I feel that the kids returning to At Attan would take more than one season
Sounds like someone is learning from mistakes / criticism and doing things we enjoy so much from Andor.
Dude, I would die if Omega shows up in this show late this season or next season.
The word wizard alone implies at attin had contact with the republic at some point after the great disaster from the high republic books
True
Wim is going to be Ezra Bridger's padawan in a future project.
Moat outlets are reporting woke in episode 3. I'll wait until they release the whole show before I bother to watch.
Might be good for them to get through season 1 b4 they plan on season 2
Utidiiiiiii 🎉❤😊
all we need is a cal kestis series or a cameo
I find it interesting that eyeglasses are starting to appear in the Star Wars universe.
